Portimao visit
Definitely NOT a luxury apartment. Was poorly maintained and not clean enough. Was worth about half of what we paid which was 343 euros per night. Only positive was the location which is on the marina and close to Praia de Rocha beach and restaurants. Do not recommend and would never stay there again.

great location with some issues
The property is lovely, nice balcony and roof deck. We had a lot of issues, which the owner told us was our own fault and has never happened before (the circuit would pop if we used the tea kettle, the water to the whole apartment was turned off due to a leak at a neighbors). Ana was very responsive to all issues, but her go-to was to tell us we must be doing something wrong, before she would acknowledge that it was not in fact our fault. Again, it may have just been our bad luck. VRBOs in other countries may be different than in the USA, but be aware that there are very limited linens (and you are supposed to request pool/beach towels in advance apparently).

Great apartment close enough to the action but far enough for some peace and quiet
Great apartment on the marina, the roof terrace is to die for. Checking in was simple, the apartment has everything you need for your stay. Ana was really helpful. Overall we had a great stay and would do so again. Thanks!

Great location and the beach at very short walking distance of.
The condo was not sufficient clean and a few items had to be repaired ex. blinds and some pieces at terrace. The outside areas need to be refreshed. Never the less we had a great time. Ana and Douglas were always available.

A fabulous find!
Had a great stay in this apartment. Loads of space, beds comfortable, fully equipped kitchen and a fab roof terrace. The hotel staff were very helpful and there was never a problem getting a sun lounger at the salt water pool regardless of the time of day we went there. Golf buggy was great to get dropped off at the water taxi when heading to Ferragudo. Views over the marina are magnificent. Wi-fi private to apartment and also available from hotel at pool (free of charge). Personally, we would have liked a safety deposit box. The only reason I gave 4/5 for cleanliness was that the freezer was needing cleaned out and the scatter cushions in the bedrooms were stained (which I think is just lack of people looking after them) and unfortunately the cushions and coverings on the roof terrace couches were discoluring as they are left out in all weathers, so must be getting damp, which is such a shame as could be avoided if they were covered or stored and brought out when needed. On saying all this, it would certainly not put me off returning and I would highly recommend this apartment and my thanks go to Ana and Douglas.

Beautiful spacious apartment in a perfect location
Our family of 2 adults and 2 children (aged 10 and 16) loved staying here. The view over the marina with the backdrop of cliffs and beaches is stunning. The apartment has some beautiful pieces of furniture and is so light and airy. Everything you need is included such as dishwasher and washing machine. The hotel pool is very nice but very quiet, nothing much for children to do but the huge Praia da Roche beach is only 5 minutes walk. There is a nice beach club where you can rent sun loungers for the day called Nosol Agua only a few minutes walk. You can also rent some nice cabanas on the public beach at very reasonable prices. Ferragudo across the water is a lovely village with plenty of restaurants and bars. You can get a normal taxi or the water taxi which operates til around midnight. We visited Alvor, Tres Irmaos beach with it's many caves to explore, Slide and Splash water park (very clean and new), at Benagil we hired paddle boards to explore the cathedral cave and we also drove to Tavira for the day. Plenty of nice restaurants in Praia da Roche, All Beef and Squash to name a couple. Didn't want to come home and will definitely be back.

Very nice property in a great location
Property had a nice open layout with views of the marina. The villa looked and felt pretty new. Also had comfortable bed. Really close to beach and lots of eating options. I would stay here again.
