Nice stay during workation
Marianna's place was a lovely spot for my 19 days workation. The highlight is the pool and the hammock where I spent my time relaxing and working. Marianna is a kind and acommodating host who lives next door. The only thing to take into account is that the washing machine was old and didn't work so I had to do my laundry in Cefalú. This was inconvenient during my long stay, but it worked out in the end. The house has the rest of the basic amenities. Make sure you have a car or motorbike because it's impossible/not affordable to get around otherwise. Grazie, Marianna!

Stay near Cefalu
Marianna is a lovely host, very kind and friendly. She provided us with a nice selection of items in the fridge, suitable for the hungry traveller! The accommodation is about 3-4 miles from Cefalu centre but on a hillside so relatively remote; you’ll need a car to get anywhere. The accommodation is simple but pleasant and the pool is delightful.

We want to thank marianna for the lovely welcome and the very pleasant stay. The house is wonderful, cosy and very romantic. If you like small houses for your holiday and you are travelling by car, mariannas place is the perfect fit. We will come back as soon as possible.

Die Gastgeberin Marianna ist charmant und sehr freundlich, immer bestens bemüht ihre Gäste zufriedenzustellen. Die Beschreibung des Hauses ist geringfügig optimistisch, unter Landhaus stelle ich mir etwas anderes vor, aber schön ist das Haus dennoch. Die Bilder sind nicht alle top-aktuell, nun ja... Wer eine abgeschiedene Lage mag, die trotzdem gut an den Verkehr angebunden ist, ist hier richtig.

Sporco! Un vero incubo
Sporca! Una casa sporca da anni. Abbiamo rimesso le valigie in auto avvisando Vrbo e la proprietaria delle condizioni non igieniche della casa. Dai sanitari, al forno (pieno di briciole bruscate), al frigorifero (con residui di pomodoro ed addirittura una capello attaccato sulla parete interna dello stesso), alle suppellettili e telecomando tv mai stato pulito negli anni. La doccia presentava piastrelle a contatto con il piatto doccia completamente piene di sporcizia così come i binari delle ante della stessa doccia., così come i sanitari. Abbiamo riscontrato la mancanza di cose essenziali come il sapone per i piatti, sicuramente impensabile l’utilizzo dei piatti e delle stoviglie considerata la pulizia del resto della casa a questo punto il sapone era indispensabile. Come da annuncio sarebbero dovuto essere un villino con piscina ad uso esclusivo. In realtà al momento della presentazione della casa da parte della proprietaria ci siamo accorti che la sua casa confinava con una distanza di 5 metri (senza recinzione) con la porta della cucina e la piscina è esattamente di fronte la casa dei proprietari, inoltre sempre come da annuncio la casa dista 4km da Cefalù e 1 km dal mare, cosa non veritiera e per raggiungerla bisognava inerpicarsi con l’auto su una strada scommessa in salita a doppio senso alternato con la presenza di un semaforo la cui attesa per il passaggio dura non meno di 10 minuti. Cosa non meno vergognosa è la voce riguardante le pulizie mai effettuate, uno si aspetterebbe che a fronte di un sovrapprezzo dovuto alle spese di pulizia quantomeno che le stesse oltre ad essere effettuate, lo siano da una persona che fa questo di mestiere, visto anche la necessità di sanificate gli ambienti post emergenza Covid. Vacanza rovinata

Oktoberwoche in Cefalu
Wir hatten trotz schlechten Wetters eine schöne Woche im gemütlichen Häuschen. Marianna ist eine großartige Gastgeberin, und hat uns mit einem schon gefüllten Kühlschrank und mehr empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll im Landhausstil eingerichtet (wie auf den Bildern). Wir können uns vorstellen bei hoffentlich schönem Wetter nochmal zu kommen, so dass wir auch den Pool und den schönen Garten nutzen können.

Siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dalla gentilezza e dalla disponibilità della sig.ra Marianna. Per quanto riguarda l'alloggio la casa era dotato di ogni confort, immersa nel verde ed in una zona tranquilla. Consigliata per chi vuole staccare un po' la spina lontano dalla vita frenetica in città.

We had a great time
We stayed 1,5 weeks and had a wonderful time at the clean, quiet and cozy house. There is all you may need. We cooked and did laundry, we felt like at home. Marianna is a lovely, very friendly and helpful host. When we arrived, water, eggs, bread and fresh fruit awaited us. The location is great; it’s close to a few beaches and Cefalu is just a 10 min drive. We would love to come again someday. We highly recommend staying with Marianna.

geweldige locatie
een praktische en gezellige woning voorzien van alle gemak en zeer gastvrije eigenares, een prachtig zwembad in de zon , grote tuin met parkeer plaats . met marianna zijn we goed bevriend geworden, mensen die rust en groen zoeken vinden hier wat ze zoeken , de weg naar Cefalu is in het begin een beetje moeilijk , maar wendt gauw. Anche per italiani da reconmandare .

Schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage
Wir haben unseren Urlaub bei Marianna sehr genossen. Das kleine Haus ist schön eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Vor den Fenstern befinden sich Fliegengitter, sodass wir die Fenster jederzeit offen lassen konnten. Dadurch hatten wir nachts angenehme Temperaturen im Haus und haben den vorhandenen Ventilator kaum gebraucht. Allerdings muss man wissen, dass viele Grundstücke in der Nachbarschaft von Hunden bewacht werden, die sich nachts gerne ein Bellkonzert liefern. Wenn es uns zu sehr gestört hat haben wir die Fenster einfach geschlossen und dann war ruhe. Das Grundstück von Marianna ist groß und mit wunderschönen Oliven- und Feigenbäumen gesäumt. Der Pool ist angenehm erfrischend, sauber und jederzeit nutzbar. Durch die Lage am Berg hat man einen schönen Ausblick und zudem ist es einfach Ruhig. Perfekt zum Entspannen und Genießen. Und wenn wir eine Frage hatten oder noch etwas benötigt haben war Marianna steht's zur Stelle. Wir sprechen leider kaum italienisch, glücklicherweise spricht Marianna Englisch und so hat die Kommunikation immer gut geklappt. Der Weg von der Wohnung bis runter zum Strand dauerte ca. 10 min. mit dem Motorrad. Marianna ist eine sehr liebenswerte, freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Sie machte unseren Urlaub rundum perfekt! Wir können Mariannas Unterkunft nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Un bel accueil gâché par la vestusté des lieux
Marianna a su nous accueillir comme il se doit: grands sourires, sociabilité et même des vivres pour manger nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Elle a toujours été soucieuse de notre bien être durant le séjour et nous l’en remercions pour cela. Par contre, la location: une catastrophe! Des puces de lit dans les draps, de l’humidité à n’en plus pouvoir, une odeur de renfermé voire de moisi en permanence, des insectes partout, tous les soirs, le chien qui aboie toute la nuit après d’autres... bref la maison est glauque et non chaleureuse: mal isolée, la douche qui fuit, et surtout: c’etait Sale! Bref désolée mais nous ne recommandons pas l’endroit, le prix n’est absolument pas justifié par les prestations proposées puisque la maison est loin du centre ville, loin de la plage, bref dans un coin très très isolé avec un jardin à l’abandon. Et la piscine n’est pas privée aux locataires mais à la propriétaire également, qui y passe le’plus Clair de son temps. En résumé: cela n’en vaut pas la peine!

Sehr nettes kleines Haus unweit vom Meer und ca. 6 km von Cefalu entfernt.
Das kleine Haus liegt etwas ländlich, oberhalb von dem doch sehr touristischen Cefalu mit einem schönen Blick aufs Meer. Wir genossen die Ruhe und Pool auf dem Anwesen. Die Vermieterin Frau Micelli ist sehr nett und hat uns bei der späten Ankunft freundlichen empfangen Der Kühlschrank war von Mariella mit kühlen Getränken und für die ersten beiden Tagen mit notwendigen Lebensmitteln bestückt. Was sehr freundlich war. Leider gingen die drei Wochen viel zu schnell rum. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hierher fahren.

Wunderbar ruhig, toller Pool, tolle Lage und Entfernung nach Cefalu
Der Aufenthalt bei der äußerst netten und engagierten Vermieterin Marianna war sehr ruhig, angenehm und erholsam. Der Pool ist schön angelegt, sauber und entspannend. Wir konnten wunderbar abschalten, lesen und uns entspannen. Auch die Lage außerhalb und oberhalb von Cefalu bei schneller Erreichbarkeit der Stadt ( 10 Minuten mit dem Auto ) gefielen uns gut. Der hauseigene Hund war lediglich in der ersten Nacht etwas unruhig, anschließend nicht mehr zu hören.

une semaine sans dormir
La location est très petite,cependant décorée avec goût et dans un environnement très beau et sauvage. Nous avons été bien reçu par sa propriétaire qui avait eu la gentillesse de prévoir quelques restaurations de bases. La piscine est utilisable de 10 H à 12 H et de 16 H à 18 h....il est conseillé de ne pas mettre sa tête sous l'eau pour ne pas laisser de cheveux;bref,le reste du temps elle est occupée par la propriétaire des lieux qui habite just'à coté sur le même terrain . La maison n 'a ni climatisation dans la chambre ni ventilateur, 'avec la chaleur on a souffert,pas un brin d'air ! pour couronner le tout,il y a deux chiens sympas mais qui aboient toute la nuit très fort sous nos fenêtre ,répondant aux autres chiens alentours!!autant dire que notre dernière semaine de vacance a été crevante.... cependant la maison est située près de plages magnifiques dont sainte Maria ;près du parc de la Madonie qui est sublime,et de villages artisanaux forts sympatiques! Cefalu est une belle ville idéale pour le tourisme de masse avec des échoppes de basses qualités et un acceuil des plus désagréable .les prix sont plus élevés que partout sur l iles.
