We skiid two days, hiked at Colorado National Monument, and enjoyed the pool table and other games! Very fun place and the cabin is perfect. Home away from home with so much to do.
This property is perfect for a family stay! Fabulous log home with personal touches make it feel very cozy and comfortable! The downstairs game room provides hours of enjoyment with a pool table, pinball machine and foosball to entertain all levels of players! Easy to the slopes for great skiing and or any mountain activity. Great kitchen space and a large dining table to accommodate a big family. Wonderful owners that take pride in their property!
Great communication. Great play are downstairs. Issues with the double beds being uncomfortable and the bunk bed sheets were pretty darn scratchy. There was AC units which were great, just loud when turned on.
Like the other reviewers noted, it’s a wonderful place for family and friends to gather. Excellent communication with home owner. Beautiful spacious home.
It was comfortable, fun with the pool table etc., nice space for the 9 of us. Kids loved the extra toys. Close to ski area and we had lots of snow this year.
Beautiful home as described. Plenty of space for all. You can watch the deer from the deck. The Mesa area had lots of places for fishing, off roading and exploring. Would definitely stay at this property again
This was the second time we stayed at this property & again enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood is peaceful and in close proximity to tons of recreational activities (it’s one mile to the entrance to Powderhorn & an easy drive to great hiking and fishing.) We grilled each night & enjoyed meals/beverages on the deck. There is no wifi available but it forced the teenagers to interact with humans! We all enjoyed time with the basement activities: pool, pinball, and foosball. There are plenty of pots, pans & dishes for cooking/eating. Be sure to bring spices, cooking oil, ziplocs/containers, laundry soap & an extra roll of paper towels. The photos don’t do this place justice. It’s nicely furnished and appointed. Beds & bedding are comfortable. We love our summer visits here & are ready to visit again in the winter!
Great house. Great location. Only problem was we got there the day they shut down all the skiing for the coronavirus. We stayed 3 nights of the 7 day rental then headed home as we were afraid the airlines were going to shutdown also. We are hoping the Owner gives us a refund.
What a fantastic log cabin with sweeping views of the mountains! Beautiful location for our ski vacation and will be back for other opportunities to enjoy the beautiful Grand Mesa!
Very clean! The property was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. The view was spectacular. Felt like we were at home, only better. I will recommend this property to others. I want to come back here again

Wonderful home and Excellent location!
This was a wonderful home to stay in while skiing at Powderhorn resort, I can't recommend it enough. The location is easy and perfect, the house is comfortable and spacious, the views incredible and the downstairs pool room/foosball area made for some fun family and friend "tournaments". It's was also awesome to unplug and keep the kids off of any electronics.

We loved staying at this lovely ski chalet!
Lovely accommodations and very comfortable! Game room was excellent. My family of four (2 young adults) was in Mesa for a family wedding and we had a great time at this property. Wish we could have spent more time at the house!

Super nice cabin!
We had family in from NJ and wanted to get up out of the valley for the weekend. Had a great time! Loved the cabin. We had three kids ages 6-12...the pool table, foosball table and pinball machine in the basement were a big hit and kept them occupied when we weren't out adventuring on the Mesa. The adults (4 of us) enjoyed the games as well - we had some friendly tournaments in the evenings. Great fun!
The only thing was a lack of a bathroom in the basement...not that big of a deal, but if you have anyone staying in the bedroom down there, they just need to know they will need to treck upstairs to use the facilities 🙂
We will definitely check this place out again in the future! Thanks to the Hummels for sharing!

Absolutely gorgeous venue!
My husband and I, two daughters, one son-in-law, and 3 grandchildren absolutely LOVED this beautiful home. We enjoyed barbequing on the deck, enjoying the beautiful views and watching a mama bird feed her babies just above us on the edge of the roof of the deck! We definitely would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a peaceful and comfortable get away. Thank you for sharing your home!

Loved our time with family!
We reserved this home as Christmas presents for our family- It was a great time to celebrate being a family and each of our grandchildren enjoyed improving their ability to ski😁. Be aware if you have light sleepers one of the bedrooms is a loft open to the main part of the home. The only complaint I'd have is the driveway is not maintained and we could not really drive up by the house much less have everyone pull up. That being said how can I complain when there was plenty of snow😳😁.

Beautiful, peaceful
We enjoyed a lovely family reunion of sorts in this beautiful home. We had 5 adults, 2 teenagers & a toddler - all slept comfortably...plenty of room for all. We brought our own food - great kitchen amenities and we were able to grill each night on the deck. We enjoyed evenings of friendly competition playing pool & foosball and the pinball machine was a big hit. The teens didn't even seem to miss their electronics (minimal wifi capabilities) because we were having so much fun. Home is nicely appointed - very comfortable & the photos really don't do it justice. Lovely, peaceful views on the deck to enjoy your morning coffee or a beverage in the evening.
We did wish that there were a bathroom in the basement & we were awoken our last night there with the fire alarm going off. Ended up being a low battery but we were unable to sleep in the basement bedroom the final night because of it. Luckily the sofas are comfortable.
Owners are great at communicating. Highly recommend - we will definitely return to this great home!!

Beautiful house in a beautiful area
We absolutely loved the house and the area it was located. We spent time at Grand Mesa National Forest and Colorado National Monument. The house has beautiful furnishings and everything you could possibly need, including a game room with a pinball machine that our son loved. We will definitely be back! I would just warn any visitors that the internet is not so consistent, so don't plan to be connected while there. Not necessarily a bad thing to get the kids off the electronics anyway. The beds were very comfortable and everything seemed practically brand new. Definitely the nicest VRBO we've stayed in and I would totally recommend it.

The most relaxing Family Vacation ever!
The views from the home were outstanding and it was close enough to the lodge to hear music from the lodge. The home was beautiful and comfortable as well as close to hiking & fishing during summer time. There are several winery's nearby, amusements for kids such as Banana's, pools, & Math & Science museum in Grand Junction (30-40 min). Moab is only about 2 hrs away as well:) We made most of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen there, but there are many restaurants in the area. Our group was 9 with a variety of ages (2-17 month olds, 1- 10 yr old, 2- 14 yr olds, 2-32 yr olds 1-35 yr old and a 53 yr old). All of which had fun fishing, hiking, playing pool, visiting museums, & relaxing.
The owners were very welcoming even though my group ran about an 1 1/2 late and the home was ready for us.
