Good atmosphere and location
Perfect for two and space on landing ideal for dog's bed. Important to note that the access is via back lane, up steel steps then to flat door and inner staircase. Couple of stairs into bedroom. Not a problem though. Thirty paces from the market square and very friendly run local amenities. Great find. Felt at home immediately.

I got confused about finding the door & the key, as it was a hidden entrance round the back.Quaint upstairs flat nestled under the eaves. Cosy log and coal fire laid ready for me to light was a lovely welcome home on a dark November evening.

About the host

We live 3 miles up the road and are farmers. We used to live at the property before we got our own farmhouse. We love animals and dogs are very welcome at our properties. Why would you want to go away without them?

Why they chose this property

Pets are very welcome. This is a spacious, airy apartment, with great features. Part of a Grade II listed property situated in the heart of the village of Longnor in the Peak District. A great base for exploring this truly beautiful area. With 2 pubs, a restaurant, cafe and shop in the village, you won't have to stray far in the evening either. Everything the Peak District has to offer is just a short drive from the village and free parking is available on the cobbled market place right outside the property.

What makes this property unique

Grade II listed property. Dog friendly. Great views over the surrounding countryside with all the amenities you could wish for right on your doorstep.
