Bare Hugs is away from it all, tucked away in the stately trees of Bluff Mountain, yet close to everything. The cabin is ten minutes from Pigeon Forge and Wears Valley!
We are 2.2 miles / ten minutes away from The Trillium wedding venue

Beautiful decor will make your stay delightful and romantic, a far cry from impersonal rentals. We have made Bare Hugs a hideaway haven for the two of you with a private hot tub in back, a large King bed inside, and a cozy swing in front. A fenced backyard and lots of room in the front is tailor made for your beloved pets to freely explore the land with you, so bring up to two with you! Bare Hugs is fully welcoming to you, your significant other and your pet.

Cable and free Wifi is included in your stay; enjoy the hot tub for two and a quiet porch to while away the time after a busy day in the park or exploring all Pigeon Forge has to offer.

The bedroom has a King bed and a pull out couch is available in the living area so you can bring the kids. A stone fireplace with wood provided will keep you warm all winter or just provide that extra bit of romance in the evenings.

Homey

The cabin has a warm and homey feel from the first step through the door. The cabin is not totally secluded, but we could not hear the neighbors. The cabin was well equipped bedding and towels. Kitchen has plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. The location is woodsy to get the camping feel but within 10-15 minute drive to attractions, restaurants etc I would definitely recommend anyone with a small party to check this home for your vacation needs

Bare Hugs Cabin

We absolutely loved our stay at Bare Hugs Cabin! We loved it so much that it was difficult leaving! The cabin is very peaceful, cozy, and put together so well! Duke and Linda were wonderful hosts! For our next vacation to the Smoky Mountains, we will definitely look to book again!

Quiet Simple Stay

Great little cabin. Nice and quiet. Just what we were looking for. Great place for a family stay or couples retreat. Nice quiet mornings on the porch were the best. Just be ready for the rough drive to the cabin. It’s a rough “trail” to the cabin. Small cars may have trouble. Overall it was great though.

Family vacay!

Our very first full family vacay with our fur babies. And it was everything we could have hoped for. They were able to run in the front and go out back on their own. They were a bit home sick but I know in their own way they enjoyed it as well as we did. They had everything we needed for not just ourselves but our fur babies as well and our children too.! Every moment was an awesome one! And definitely recommend and will be back shortly to book again.!

The cabin is exactly as described. Perfect getaway for two and extra bonus of being pet friendly let us bring our dog. The area is beautiful and the cabin is clean and well stocked with anything you could need. The owners were great with communications. Would highly recommend and definitely would return.

Just What We Were Looking For

This is a perfect cabin for a couple. It is well equipped, well kept and in a good area. We’ve always enjoyed the Wears area. If you have a pet, it is pet friendly with a nice dog run in the back yard. We did not have our pet with us but having this area we’d consider it next time. Duke was responsive to all our questions. Great hosts. Glad we found this cabin!

Perfect Pet Friendly Mountain Cabin

This cabin was superb. I’d never been to the Smoky Mountains region and this cabin was the first stop on that experience and it completely set the tone for our entire trip. It’s very close to Pigeon Forge (15 min drive tops and we had snow and it was still a short drive). Duke gave us additional directions to avoid any rough snowy roads for our arrival trip which was super thoughtful and helpful. He checked in on us during the stay to make sure we didn’t need anything or had any questions. He was accessible the entire duration of the stay. The cabin is well equipped for all cooking. We used everything available from the coffee maker to the back deck grill. We made all of our meals at this cabin and didn’t feel that we were lacking anything. The decor is cozy and thoughtfully detailed in every aspect. We enjoyed the fireplace almost every night and never ran out of dry wood. The hot tub is wonderful, we utilized it several times a day. Fast WiFi allowed me to work when needed. Our dogs also enjoyed the gated front deck and the fenced back yard for potty breaks and romps. The cabin supplied multiple dog dishes for meals and water and ever dog toys and snacks which was helpful when we first arrived and hadn’t unpacked. There’s a ton of stores and shops for food just down a couple scenic mountain roads. The cabin is private, while there are neighboring cabins, we never heard any other guests. We highly recommend this cabin, and have booked our next trip!

Amazing Little Cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bare Hugs. The cabin is the perfect size for a couple wanting a quiet mountain getaway and the dog run in the back was perfect for our two dogs. The roads are narrow and steep, so make sure you use the directions provided and don’t listen to your gps once you get close. We really couldn’t have had a better experience and can’t wait to book again!

Perfect!

The cabin was perfect for 2 of us plus our fur babies. The fenced in area was a plus, so few properties off that when traveling with pets. The cabin is so comfortable and inviting, no detail is spared. The Christmas decorations made it special this time of year. We met Duke when we had a little glitch with the tv and he was there within minutes to get us straightened out. Minutes to the Parkway and Dollywood. We will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Cabin!

This was our first stay in this cabin but it certainly won't be our last! Everything was just perfect, from the Christmas tree to the television playing music when we arrived. There is absolutely nothing I would change about this place. It simply feels like home. We will absolutely be booking with you again! Thank you for sharing your lovely place.

Very clean, cute & cozy

As someone who vacations in the Smoky mountains almost every year, I have to say this is our new favorite cabin. It was the perfect size for a couple and their dogs. Very clean and had everything you could possibly need, even bowls and snacks for the pups. The cabin was decorated with intention for the season with touches of fall thoughout which we found very thoughtful. It was very nice to have a fenced area to let the dogs off leash which is a tough find in the area. Duke and Linda were wonderful hosts. We will definitely stay in this cabin next time we are in the area.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

From the moment we walked into Duke and Linda’s cabin we felt at home. This cozy little cabin is clean, very tastefully decorated, every attention to detail taken into account. Nothing was lacking, paper products, abundance of towels and wash clothes, cooking items (though we only made coffee lol), everything you would need or want is provided. The front porch was our favorite coffee spot and our weekend in this cozy cabin in the woods was perfect. Duke and Linda were always a text or message away making sure we had all we needed. My only suggestion to future guests will be to get there at daylight the first day lol (we got there at 8:30 pm) and listen to Duke’s directions for getting to the cabin, gps will be wrong, we tested the gps our 2nd day there to see and Duke was right, it’ll get you lost.

Great place to stay

As soon as we made the hairpin turn we saw a black bear crossing the street from our cabin. We had turkeys in our front yard. Also had a skunk walking down the street. We really enjoyed the coziness of the cabin. This was our 50th wedding anniversary. Thanks for making memories. Mike & Nyoka

Relaxed at Bear Hugs

Our stay was great. Easy access / directions to property. Property was as described and lends to a very relaxing stay. Our dogs had a secure yard to play in and the front porch was our sanctuary. Home Away From Home

If you love an adventure and little hidden, cozy places, Bare Hugs is perfect for you! It's a beautiful little cabin with just the right amount of space for a couples getaway (pups included!) All of the decor and special little touches, make this cabin feel like home. There were books, games, dvds, washer/dryer (everything you may need!) and my personal favorite, a vacuum! When we take our dog, we like to be able to clean up after ourselves. So thank you for that extra special surprise! :) It rained almost the entire week we were here but there is a really nice front porch equipped with a swing. My husband and I (along with our dog) enjoyed sitting out there listening to the rain every morning and evening. We've been coming to PF for 6 or 7 years now--staying in pricey, impersonal cabins and I can tell you this is the nicest and CLEANEST place we've ever stayed. Duke was wonderful and stayed in communication with us. We had an issue with the keypad but he was only a phone call away and fixed it immediately. You can tell they care about their "customers".We can't wait to come back!

I visited Wears Valley from my home on the east coast over 15 years ago and fell in love with the area. I felt at home in the mountains and realized pretty quickly that I could have my dream life. I retired and relocated to Wears Valley and now own two cabins of my own that my wife and I would love to share with you..

Why they chose this property

This cabin has a wonderful, central location and charm. I loved the backyard where couples can bring their pet along on vacation and not have to worry about them and I loved the spacious front yard that creates privacy and a welcoming outdoor haven for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

A fenced yard in the back for your pet! The cabin is decorated beautifully and is cozy and close to Pigeon Forge. Love the real wood fireplace as well for romantic evenings.
