Cozy and comfortable apartment close to Town Hall Sq

Ricefield apartment is a very comfortable and centric apartment in Valencia that has some luxury touches. It has 2 bedrooms: the master bedroom with a 150X200cm bed and a twin bedroom with 2 90X190cm beds. The master bedroom as a bathroom ensuite and there is another complete bathroom in the corridor. Both bathrooms have shower and the bathroom at the corridor has a washing machine.
The kitchen is fully equipped with vitroceramic, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and squeezer. It has also dishwasher.
Ricefield apartment has heating for winter and central air conditioning for summer. It has also WiFi.
In the basement of the building there is a car park.
The building where Ricefield is located in the 5th floor was very old and it was pulled down years ago. It was built again maintaining the facade and some decorative elements such as doors and bars. The result is an elegant, modern and comfortable building.

near central market

fully equipped for a home stay in a busy location near the market. fifth floor and good windows limit noise from the street very effectively. two good showers in the bathrooms and anything you would need to cook at home in the kitchen. a hundred restaurants in easy walking distance. dishwasher and washer are added pluses if you are cooking. open living and dining and kitchen combination gives a spacious feel to the apartment. elevator (I know this sounds crazy) gave us envy - as our own building in Sevilla has a very small, slow, lift. highly recommend this rental.

Situation centrale privilégiée

Appartement spacieux, moderne, propre et confortable. Situé à proximité des sites touristiques, en plein cœur de la ville et étonnamment très calme. Un peu difficile à trouver quand on ne connaît pas et qu’on arrive le soir mais proche du métro et de la place de l’hôtel de ville. Le numéro de l’immeuble n’est pas indiqué sur la façade. Raquel nous a gentiment et patiemment attendus . Valencia est une ville très agréable à visiter.

Our stay at this VRBO could not have gone better. The location is incredible. Just steps from the Central market, historical landmarks, restaurants, and shopping. The unit is clean, secure, and stocked with all necessary kitchen items. There was extra bed linen and pillows if needed, and plenty of closet space. Our host responded promptly to our questions, and if we find ourselves in Valencia again, this will be our reservation of choice. Book with confidence.

Location, Location, Location

Perfect location in the city center. Three major plazas and the Central Market are within a few blocks. It is on a very safe side street that is remarkably quiet. Pilar and Raquel quickly responded to all our communications. Pilar even had new mattress delivered during our stay that made the apartment perfect. Would highly recommend.

I really liked the property. It was cool even at the height of a heatwave so the air conditioning worked v well. It was very central located re supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants etc. and very clean I would have liked a little more plates etc in the kitchen. I do think it is time the beds are replaced. Similarly, polyester sheets in the heat were quite hot in bed. But other than that I would reconsider without hesitation.

Great place in old town with fantastic owner

Great location. Fantastic owner. After Valencia, we went to Denia and had a rental from a management company. It was the worst! This place, by comparison, was great. A/C since it was over 34 degrees when we were there. I have it 4 stars for cleanliness because the people before us must have had rotted fruit. 3-4 fruit flies and some ants. But not the property owner. Also, think the little ants came from next door since they were near the front door. I was 100% recommend this place. (Maybe grab a small trash can from IKEA for the bathrooms.)

Gut ausgestattete Wohnung an Top-Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage im Zentrum der Altstadt ist genial. Insbesondere der Mercado Central hat uns sehr gefallen, und die gute Küchenausstattung, um die tollen Lebensmittel selbst zuzubereiten. Bei der Ankunft hatten wir und der Taxi-Fahrer Mühe, die Strasse zu finden. Tipp: Den Namen der Strasse auf Valenciano statt Castellano suchen.

Schöne Wohnung, super Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig eingerichtet und sauber. Mit Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine ausgestattet. Einziges Mango, in einem der Bäder riecht es muffig. Die Lage ist perfekt in der Altstadt gelegen. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in weniger als 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Aber auch das Öpnv-Netz ist sehr schnell erreichbar und fährt in alle Richtungen.

Book this place.

We fell in love with Valencia on our three week stay, and the apartment was a large part of it. Roomy, nice, safe, and the most amazing sound proof window doors I’ve ever experienced. The location is knock out. Turn right and you’re minutes from the Mercado. Turn left and your minutes from Placa Reina. The entire city is walkable. Fabulous stay. We’ll be back.

Hasta la vista!

Our family of 4 (10 and 13 year old kids) stayed at El Mercat apartment for a month. We can't wait to come back. The city and the stay were amazing. Location, location, location - in the city center with many sights and public transit super accessible. I loved walking to the Mercato Central each day to pick up whatever looked good for lunch - only 2 blocks away and visible from the balcony! Kitchen was adequately equipped as we did a lot of cooking at home given the long stay. The place was clean and well kept. Pilar was very helpful - she helped us arrange airport transport on arrival and when we noticed a minor leak in the kitchen sink, she arranged for a plumber to be there the next day. We had some minor issues at check-in since the information she thought was there for us (wifi info, recycling info , etc) was not, but she was very helpful in real time to answer those questions. Overall highly recommend!

Location, location, location

Located in the heart of the old city center, this apartment was so convenient! Exactly as described, clean and great communications with manager. She arranged an airport pick-up which was very convenient. She also got us discounted tickets to the aquarium. Cooking equipment could be updated, pots without lids, pans with aged non-stick surfaces, etc. We bought cheese shredder, ice trays, wine opener, and Tupperware to make it through our 24 day stay. Clothes washing is also a bit challenging without a dryer, but that's life in Valencia! We absolutely loved our stay here! Would not hesitate to re-book if the opportunity arises. Thank you Pilar!

Très bon accueil.

Très bel appartement : spacieux, bien agencé et bien équipé. Il est bien situé, en plein centre ville, ce qui complique toutefois le stationnement. Nous le recommandons.

Perfect in location in valencia

The flat was just as described. Lovely and spacious and one block from the wonderful central market, so what could be better. Plus it is on a quiet walking street. There were four of us, my husband and myself and our grown daughter and son in law. We could walk just about everywhere from this center of town location and “the kids” rode bikes all over. The food everywhere is wonderful. You will be completely comfortable in this lovely vrbo.

Terrific location

Great location. Really glad there is a lift to avoid the 114 steps to the 5th floor! Easy walking distance from the train but we appreciated Rachel calling out to us when she saw us on the street. She explained the “uniqueness” of the water heater and all worked well. The rooms are good sized and exactly as pictured. Loved the closeness to the market and so many restaurants. We absolutely would use this location again!

Vacanza Compromessa

L'appartamento è esattamente come descritto, ampio, centrale e ristrutturato da poco. La comunicazione con la proprietà molto difficoltosa. Ad accoglierci non c'era Pilar ma Raquel da essa incaricata la quale, nel mostrarci l'appartamento, si concentrava sulla caldaia mostrandoci il pulsante di reset nel caso di blocco e subito dopo ci portava in uno dei due bagni dicendoci che l'acqua della doccia non defluiva bene ma non c'era da preoccuparsi perché piano piano il piatto doccia si sarebbe svuotato, l'importante diceva Raquel, era non tentare di togliere il tappo del sifone di scarico altrimenti si sarebbe creato un danno molto serio. Ci mostrava successivamente la piastra ad induzione della cucina e ne accendeva una (per pochi secondi) per mostrarci il funzionamento. La noiosa premessa serve a capire cosa è accaduto successivamente. 1)Le piastre a induzione non funzionavano, dopo 15- 20 secondi di funzionamento si spegnevano per una durata più o meno simile a quella di accensione, ergo, non abbiamo potuto usarle nel corso di tutta la permanenza; 2) l'acqua della doccia non defluiva, risultato: tre docce fatte tre allagamenti del bagno e mentre uno tentava di farsi la doccia, l'altro rimaneva accanto alla caldaia per resettarla in quanto andava continuamente in blocco. Siamo stati costretti a rinunciare all’utilizzo della doccia; 3) la prima sera siamo andati a cena ed abbiamo lasciato l'aria condizionata accesa per trovare l'appartamento fresco al ritorno, la sorpresa nell'aprire la porta è stato il forte odore di fogna diffuso in tutto l'appartamento che dopo numerosi controlli e prove abbiamo inequivocabilmente collegato il cattivo odore all'aria condizionata. Mai più utilizzata nel corso della permanenza; 4) La comunicazione con la proprietaria? Meglio lasciar perdere, mai vista, difficile rintracciarla telefonicamente e pensava di risolvere i problemi via e-mail o WhatsApp. Poiché non riuscivamo a comunicare con lei abbiamo chiamato Raquel esponendo il problema della piastra a induzione e della caldaia, risposta: "mi dispiace, io faccio le pulizie dell'appartamento e non posso aiutarvi, per queste problematiche provate a chiamare Pilar" Concludendo, una vacanza rovinata. Pilar via WhatsApp ci comunicava che era molto dispiaciuta e che prima d’ora non era mai successo e comunque, venerdì (il giorno dopo la nostra partenza) avrebbe mandato un manutentore. Al danno…la classica beffa. E io pago!
