Very clean, good location, comfortable furniture and beds
Went up for a couple nights for an ice fishing trip. The hot tub was very popular. Well equipped kitchen to make our dinners. Comfortable furniture and beds.
We rented the cabin for an extended family summer trip. The cabin had plenty of room for the 8 of us. The family members who like to fish enjoyed the lake and the nearby lakes as well. We weren’t able to swim in front of the cabin, but a swimming beach was just a few miles away. The walk out from the basement was great—we also enjoyed the fire pit. The host was easy to communicate with and very prompt.
The house has plenty of room and is right on the water. Pretty clean and everything you need is available. We were there just to hang out as a family and enjoy fishing and playing in the water. This lake is for fishing…we drove to Lake Pickerel to swim and jet ski. We enjoyed our time there.
Great location and amenities. Beautiful, peaceful lakefront cabin. This was our second stay, we love it.

Okay Stay
Positives:
Wifi worked well, lots of room, AC worked well, water in the cabin seemed clean, shower worked well, big yard
Criticisms:
There are a lot of rules sent to us in addition to the contract. I don't mind reading, but some group members didn't want to deal with it. The beds listed as queens are fully. We weren't sure what the cleaning service did because the place didn't seem vacuumed or dusted completely. Don't assume you can use the hot tub. We tried to follow the rules to find the chlorine, and it was nowhere to be found. We texted the company, who was nice and said they'd ask the owners, but we never got a response back. That was a huge bummer.
Safety Concerns:
Getting down to the dock is not safe. There is a steep incline that looks almost like a hole in the dirt. They need to put stairs there, or someone could easily fall.

mis-advertised
Beautiful views but lake is only for fishing, not recreation. The water was thick green and stunk terrible! The beds in the cabin are advertised as queen beds but they are full sized and the most uncomfortable beds of all time. The cabin has not been cleaned in forever. Cob webs and dirt fill the cabin, bugs in the showers and there is a hole in the downstairs wall surrounded by traps where apparently critters come in. Mouse turds on the dishes in the cupboards. There is also a leak in the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom that has obviously been there for a long time as it's surrounded by rust and mold. If you are looking for a fishing spot right on the water this is it but don't expect cleanliness, comfort or water for recreation.
Big house with some great amenities, but could use a thorough clean.
Overall it was a great house. Though I would say that if you are a clean freak, then you may want to choose another house. This place was clean enough for most of my family but I was less impressed cause I need things extra clean. Also, it is difficult to get to the dock cause it is steep but once you are on it, it's nice. The rest of the house was great! People liked the pool table and ping pong. It had most of the kitchen items we needed and there was plenty of room for everyone and even had two roll-away beds for extra sleeping.

Disappointing
Well, this cabin was gross. I don't know the last time it had been cleaned, but it was not recently. There were dead bugs on the kitchen ceiling, cobwebs everywhere, the entire place was very dusty, and I don't think the windows had ever been cleaned. I am assuming that most of the people that stay here are hunter/fishermen, so maybe they don't care about that kind of thing? After we dusted and wiped down everything we did enjoy our stay. It's a peaceful area on a beautiful lake. We did notice that the 3 queen beds are actually 3 full size beds with queen sheets on them. Not cool. I sent an email to the management company and haven't heard back, so I don't know if any of this will change in the future.
Very good communication with owners and simple check-in and check-out process. Enjoyed a girls weekend away, but would also be perfect for a couple families. Plenty of room for everyone and great place to stay.
