Open airy large 4 Bedroom newly constructed home located in lower Peter Bay St. John. Bedrooms are: 1 king, 1 queen, with 2 bedrooms flexible (either queen or 2 twins). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and balcony. Heated salt water pool and shaded outdoor lounging & dining. Central air conditioning with WiFi & Dish TV. Maid Service midweek (more if necessary), on island manager, Additional Apartment - onsite also if necessary, Very short walk to private beach. Stunning views of Jost Van Dyke and Tortola. House is blessed with full sun from sunrise to sunset. Surrounded by national park. Gardens are both beautiful and productive with banana, mango, lime, plantation, coconut, and papaya. Amazing Stay at the Taylor House

We just completed our stayed at the Taylor House in July 2023 and could not have been happier. We have been visiting St. John for 15 years and and this was by far the nicest house and best location we have stayed in. The house was modern, clean, and very well appointed...everything just as advertised. My wife and I surprised our 16 year old daughter with a week long stay with 6 of her friends, and there was plenty of space for all of us to find our own spot weather it was a hammock in the shade, the pool or a balcony soaking in the view. The location was great, convenient to all the best beaches, hiking trails and a short drive to Cruz Bay. Communications with the property owner, Robert, and property manager, Marcus, were seamless. Both were extremely responsive to our requests and were committed to making every aspect of our visit outstanding. Marcus is a gem, from assisting us with luggage transport, introduction to local taxis and truly going above and beyond by cooking us a multi-course Caribbean inspired dinner. You won't find a nicer more genuine person on the island... Anxious to come back to the amazing Taylor house as soon as we can!

Nothing short of perfect

We spent 10 days at the Taylor House with my family of 4 and my parents (6 total). It was absolute perfection. The home was immaculate, the view is unmatched and everything you’d need is there for you. The private beach is awesome - and very, very rare in St John. But the real gem of this home is Marcus. Marcus runs the property and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing. He is kind, thoughtful, responsive and an excellent chef. We had him cook for us 2 nights and had Chef Matt cook for us 3 nights. All of the food was excellent. I’d highly recommend hiring Marcus or Matt to cook a few nights because you will not want to leave the house. It was very nice to not have to venture out - especially with little kids. If available, I will come back every year - and hope Marcus doesn’t go anywhere!! This place is truly a gem. You will not be disappointed!

Fabulous holiday in every way

The house and setting are sublime: the pool, the easy to walk to private beach, the comfort and luxury of the house itself. We are a three generation family--2 grandparents, 2 parents, and a 4-year old--and everyone loved it equally. The manager is also phenomenal. The only problem was that we could not reach him through our phone service, altho he tried every way he could to get around the issue. It all worked out, as well as the two delicious meals he cooked for us. (Also, better to rent a car on St John, rather than St Thomas.) We definitely hope to return.

Fantastic House in Peter Bay

We had a wonderful week long stay at the Taylor House. The home was exactly as described and did not disappoint. The outdoor space and pool was perfect. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We so appreciated having a full spice cabinet. (Rare find in relation to past villas that we have rented). Additionally, communication with Rob (owner) and Marcus (property manager) was a breeze. Any minor issues or questions were promptly addressed. You could not pick a more central beach location to stay on St. John. (Peter bay is between Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay). I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Lovely Villa

It was an awesome villa in a very good location. Marcus, the property manager, was extremely helpful and we highly recommend setting up a meal cooked by him as well! We love St John and this villa will not disappoint.

Amazing view and location

This house was everything it said it would be. It is comfy and welcoming. The rocking chairs poolside were a favorite. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds are great. I would have preferred a different pillow choice besides the 100% down ones available though. We had so much room to move and so many options for gathering spaces. Marcus is super helpful. The location was so close to the north shore beaches. The drive in at night is confusing (as most night driving on STJ can be) so try for a daytime arrival. A fab house and a great vacation experience.

Beautiful house!

We loved our week long stay at this house. The amenities are wonderful, from a very nice collection of soaps and lotions in each bathroom to great cooking appliances and a huge assortment of spices. Our only complaint was that the caretaker did not respond to questions or requests in a timely manner but that did not affect our overall experience.

We loved our stay at this home in Peter Bay! The views are fantastic and it's nice to have a quiet, small beach just a short walk away. The home is large and comfortable with multiple spacious outdoor seating areas as well. Kitchen was the best equipped of any home we've ever rented! Nice quiet bedrooms with en suite baths. Would definitely stay at this property again when we return to St John!

Peter Bay Excellence

Our family of five along with two grandparents enjoyed our stay immensely! The house with its 4 en-suite bedrooms, all with spectacular views, gave us a spacious, gorgeous place to rest. That said, the main floor and patio were where we spent all of our time gazing out over Peter Bay and the BVI beyond. The house is located in lower Peter bay which means only a 5 minute walk to the private beach. Our family also loves to spend the day at Maho bay which is a less than 10 minute ride. Overall, the home is spectacular, well built and perfectly maintained. Now, saving the best for last, Marcus. He is the curator of the home AND your experience. He provisioned the kitchen using our grocery/beverage list and also had a home cooked Caribbean meal waiting for us that he cooked… delicious and certainly the perfect way to begin our week here. He also made himself available to prepare another meal later in the week and he out did himself… lobster and steak along with other delicious dishes. Marcus has a warm and welcoming personality making us feel at home the entire stay! Thank you to the owners and to Marcus for facilitating our best stay on St. John, ever.

Family Holiday at the Taylor House

We can not say enough great things about the Taylor House! The location is perfect, peaceful and solitude. Most days we had Peter Bay beach to ourselves. We spent the days at Peter Bay beach (snorkeling and swimming), lounging by the pool, cooking meals and playing cards in the evenings. We visit St. John every Christmas as a family of 10 and the Taylor House was by far the best home we have stayed in thus far. The Property Manager Marcus was kind, helpful, friendly and responsive! Marcus’s cheerful demeanor was contagious. We are lucky to have made a new friend this trip! The kitchen is well appointed and has everything a seasoned cook/chef and baker needs. We ate almost every meal at the house. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean and well organized. We can’t wait to come back to the Taylor House!

AMAZING!!!

Everything about our stay was of highest quality... especially Marcus the house manager... By far cannot say enough about this amazing property. The views are breathtaking from every room. Some of the best snorkeling in the world is 5 minutes away. Super safe area close to everything you would want.... We will definitely return - our new favorite home away from home - on our honeymoon

Perfect in so many ways!

Our group of 8 had a great time...even with Tropical storm/hurricane Fiona bearing down on us. We enjoyed the empty beaches and quiet nature of the island this time of year. The view, villa and attentiveness by Marcus and Robert were top notch! We loved the location in relationship to beaches, Cruz and Coral Bay. Great place

Great views, great property manager, very responsive owner and great location to hop all the Northside beaches. The little beach in walking distance is not as nice as the other beaches, so I’d rent this property for its views and proximity to Cinnamon and Trunk Bay vs being able to walk to Peter Bay.

Joyous!

We have spent many weeks in St. John over the past 25 years. We have stayed in every type of accommodation from the Cinnamon Bay campground the first time we came to various villas all over the island. This villa is clean, comfortable, spacious without being overwhelming and the VIEW is spectacular. Our favorite part (besides the caretaker, Marcus, who is fantastic) is the access to Peter Bay Beach. It elevates the experience of being on St. John perfectly. It is a beautiful, quiet beach with excellent snorkeling and a low key vibe. My only complaint is that we are now completely spoiled by Marcus and Peter Bay. Thank you for opening your home to us to enjoy. Our party of 6 soaked in every moment.

We stayed at the Taylor House in March 2022 and could not have been happier. Our family has been visiting St. John for 20 years and have rented various villas all over the island, and this was by far the nicest house and best location we have stayed in. The house was modern, impeccably clean, and well appointed. We traveled with another family, and there was plenty of space for all seven people in our group, including two adult couples and three teenage children. The house includes two generous master suites (and arguably a third), and spacious rooms for the children. The shared spaces, including the kitchen, living room, dining room, patio and pool were spacious and and suitable for gathering of the entire group, but also provided ample opportunity for members of our party to find private spaces to read a book, take a work call (if you have to), or find a quiet place to enjoy the sights and sounds of St. John. The house is a short 5-10 minute walk down to Peter Bay beach, which we visited most days. There were never more than 4-5 other people there, and most days we had it to ourselves. If you're looking for even more privacy, just swim or snorkel around the rocks at the far end of the beach to Little Cinnamon Beach, which is a perfect white sand stretch with no rocks and calm water - we didn't see a single other person there the entire week. And the house is a short 5 minute drive to all of the other north shore beaches, and just 10 minutes to either Cruz Bay or Coral Bay. Communications with the property owner, Robert, and property manager, Marcus, were seamless. Both were extremely responsive to our pre-visit questions and inquiries and committed to making every aspect of our visit outstanding. Marcus went so far as to cook a multi-course dinner featuring local dishes on our last night on the island, which was outstanding! At the recommendation of Robert and Marcus, we also hired Chef Vincent Alterio to cook for us another evening, which we highly recommend. Chef has worked at some of the finest restaurants in the U.S., and the dinner was every bit as worthy as an restaurant dinner we have had anywhere.

Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay here in early April. Marcus was very helpful and we took up on his offer to cook dinner for us on our first night. The location is perfect, nestled on one of the most beautiful private beaches, and within 15 mins of Cruz bay. We enjoyed waking up to gorgeous views of the water and nearby islands. We will definitely return for more visits!

Amazing Property and Hospitality

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Taylor House. In our group, we had seven people ranging in ages from 4 to 49. The house was impeccably kept with a great layout for all to enjoy and spread out. All of the bedrooms had wonderful views of Peter Bay and large private bathrooms. The pool was the perfect spot to relax and the location of the house is ideal as it is close to the beaches and Cruz Bay. Most importantly though, the property manger provided clear communication before we arrived and helped with any questions that arose during our stay. We hope to return to the Taylor House again soon!
