Casa Montoit8 | cozy villa in the heart of the Alentejo
In the Alentejo plain lies the village of Montoito, served by cafes, supermarket, pharmacy and ATM.
About 30 Km away is the city of Évora (World Heritage), the Alqueva dam is a 15-minute drive away. Nearby are the castles of Terena, Portel, and Monsaraz (with excellent views of the Alqueva lake), there are megalithic monuments nearby. In this area you can visit excellent wineries, (Herdade do Esporão, Ervideira etc.)
Our house has two bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with 2 single beds, typical equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace and sofa bed. It has wifi and satellite TV.
We have a backyard with barbecue where you can enjoy your meals and terrace overlooking the countryside where you can relax.

Located in Redondo, this cottage is in a rural area. Cromeleque do Xerez and Roman Bridge of Ribeira de Pêga are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Monsaraz River Beach and Mourão Beach. Alqueva Lake Observatory and Évora Museum are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hunting and hiking/biking trails nearby.
