Ian and Val both met in the South of France 26 years ago and after living back in the UK and having two children, decided to leave the corporate life behind them to settle in this beautiful area of the Charente, the Grande Champagne region with miles of vineyards and sunflower fields.
Maison du Ruisseau being the main house, is a beautiful restored Charentaise building dating back to 1838 with three gites, two separate from the main house, and one gite attached to the rear of the house. It is set in a beautifully matured open courtyard garden of wild flowers, lavender, wisteria, jasmine, honeysuckle and a beautiful fig tree.
We took over this business of 3 gites, each with it's quality, charentaise style and individuality, and to increase it's popularity as a home away from home in one of the most beautiful regions of France.
