' La Vigiere' house, an old stable from the 19th century transformed in a nice getaway for families or couples in a calm area in this small village surounded by vineyards on the Moulidars hill near the the Charente river.

Large enclosed private corridor in front of the house with wood gate and with covered parking in the old stable building adjacent to the main house (old stable)

Behind the main house , large 'romantic' terrace equipped w carved stone hand rail..and view on the the backyard, the vineyards and the valley of the Charente.

Multiples old stone houses and castles near by along the river.

Do not miss with a glass of the famous 'Pineau'...the superbs sunsets from the terrace facing South...equipped with dinning stone table.

The house is equipped with a central heating system to enjoy all around the year this beautifull old house.

Séjour en famille

Magnifique séjour dans cette très belle demeure, au calme. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'espace disponible et l'environnement privilégié de cette maison rénovée avec goût. Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement, nous avons dégusté devant le panorama le cadeau des propriétaires dans le frigo sur la magnifique terrasse illuminée le soir.

Formidable semaine dans cette belle maison charentaise très spacieuse et très bien équipée. Le salon et la cuisine, très grands, donnent sur une belle terrasse et un jardin bien agréable. La vue sur les vignes et les couchers de soleil sont superbes! L'endroit est très calme. La maison est idéalement placée et permet de bien rayonner dans la région. Il existe aussi de nombreux itinéraires de promenade. je souligne aussi l'excellent accueil d'Alain et Claudine, très chaleureux et sympathiques. Nous avons été conquis, et reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Lovely views

Very nicely renovated house with plenty of space, well equipped, and with a lovely terrace overlooking vineyards and fields. Owners are local and very friendly and helpful. Nothing much in the village but only a few minutes drive to Hiersac for boulangerie and a few other shops, and big supermarkets within about 20mins drive. Nice roads for cycling, and villages on the Charente to visit.

Gîte spacieux et agreable avec un beau jardin

Nous avons apprécié le calme, le coté spacieux et confortable de ce gîte avec son jardin clos pour les enfants. La verdure environnante avec ses arbres et les champs de vigne tout prés nous ont permis de nous ressourcer. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire et de sa famille proche qui est là disponible en cas de besoin . Oui nous recommanderions cette location a des amis. C'est une adresse à retenir.

Relaxing and peaceful

The house had everything we needed for us and two small children. The children loved the large garden and we took our own paddling pool to cool down in the heat. The house had three large bedrooms and a large fully equipped kitchen. It has heavenly views out of the living room and the sunsets were just lovely. The host Gerard and his brother (and son!) were very welcoming and friendly. I'm sure we shall return.

Très belle location!!!

Très belle location (confortable, bien équipée et très propre), spacieuse : avec 3 grandes chambres et un vaste salon-séjour, une grande cuisine, le tout donnant sur la terrasse et le jardin, avec une vue magnifique sur les vignes et la vallée. Nous avons apprécié le calme de l'endroit. Alain et de Claudine sont accueillants, chaleureux, forts sympathiques! Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour.

Une maison charentaise cachée dans un hameau qui vous assure à la fois tranquillité et convivialité. Nous prenons plaisir à y revenir. La maison est très spacieuse avec tout le confort. Elle peut convenir pour des vacances en famille avec enfants ou à plusieurs. Sur l'extérieur, une très belle vue depuis son côté terrasse et son barbecue qui n'attend plus que vos allumettes pour des moments à partager autour de la table. Sa situation permet de rayonner facilement à la découverte de la part des anges. Enfin, la gentillesse et réactivité de Gérard et Alain complètent le tout, n'hésitez pas à réveiller cette belle demeure et à demander les bonnes adresses d'Alain mais chut c'est un secret...

Nous avons eu le privilège d'être les premiers locataires de cette maison spacieuse, confortable, fonctionnelle et lumineuse. L'accueil était parfait, nous avions comme horizon les vignes et la campagne vallonnée. La région est propice aux ballades puisque nous nous trouvons dans "la toscane charentaise" avec sa douceur de vivre et sa gastronomie, Nous avons passés un agréable séjour qui nous a permis de découvrir cette belle région.
