This traditional Spanish villa is ideally situated for people who like to walk to local amenities including a sandy beach and restaurants. The house has beautiful sea views, is south west facing so is one of the last houses in the valley to get the sun in the evening. It is 12 minutes’ walk to the nearest beach (Cala Advocat), 10 minutes’ walk to 2 local restaurants and 30 minutes’ walk to a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shops. It is on the Benissa Costa, a short drive to the main town of Moraira and also Calpe and Benissa. Sleeping 6, it is ideal for two couples or a family with older children, as its peaceful residential location gives privacy and tranquillity. Priced very reasonably for a villa with a private pool, air-conditioning (both living room and bedrooms) and wifi broadband. There are no hidden charges, linen, air-con and wifi are all included in the price. The rental consists of the whole house except for the lower floor which is kept locked up and vacant for the private use of the owners when not rented out. The owners will never be at the villa when it is rented to holidaymakers.
This property is not suitable for people with mobility issues due to the many steps or children of climbing age due to the steep drop from the iron railings on the naya which are possible for an adventurous child to climb onto from the seating area.
Entry to the house is via a gate from the street, there are 3 private parking spaces at the villa. There are some steps down to the front door where there is a rejas (metal security gate) just before the front door which leads to a hallway. A doorway from this hallway opens into the lounge/dining room that is furnished in a modern style consisting of two bed settees, 2 coffee tables and dining table and chairs. There is a Television with local channels, DVD player and chromecast attached to the television which allows you to stream your own television programmes and downloads, a decent bluetooth speaker and air conditioning (we have aircon in both bedrooms as well as the lounge/dining room). Wifi broadband is available throughout the villa including the pool area. The kitchen is also off the hall and has a large gas cooker (calor) a large American style fridge freezer and a dishwasher as well as base and eye-level units. There is a microwave on the naya which you get to from the kitchen. There is also a kettle, toaster, coffee maker and an abundance of kitchen appliances and utensils. The naya (covered terrace) is off the kitchen as well as the living room and has beautiful sea and valley views, there is a table and chairs as well as cushioned seating. There is also a cabinet which contains various useful items. The naya faces south and west and is one of the last nayas in the area to get the sun in the evening, it is possible to get sun or shade all day depending on where you sit. The 2 double bedrooms are also off the hall, both with air conditioning. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes, bedside cabinets, mirrors and sets of drawers. The upstairs bathroom has a sink, w.c., bath with shower. Outside there is a large dining area with dual gas/charcoal BBQ surrounded by beautiful flowering plants and a partial sea view. The pool area, renovated in 2018 and includes a light so the pool also looks beautiful at night time is reached via a number of steps from the entrance level of the house, it has a tiled sunbathing area, pool-side shower and a pool (approx. 6mx3m) with sun loungers and various chairs and tables. There is also a tiled seating area with tables inside the pool kitchen area which is covered and has a fridge, sink, storage and various useful items. It is possible to get shade all day in the pool bar/kitchen area. There is a washing machine in the second bathroom, a few steps up from the pool area, this bathroom is modern and has a shower, toilet and sink. There is tiled seating along the length of the pool area. The gardens are landscaped with an abundance of mature flowering shrubs and trees, some of the trees are fruit trees and depending on the time of year you may be able to eat pomegranates, apricots, cherries, raspberries, lemons, limes or oranges straight from the tree. The towns of Moraira, Benissa and Calpe with their many shops, restaurants and bars as well as beautiful, golden sandy beaches are a short drive or bus ride away (some buses are seasonal but the Calpe/Teulada route which takes in Moraira runs all year round excluding public holidays and weekends). The house looks down onto the Buena Vista tennis club, no membership required, you can just walk in and get a game.
Our local golf course (Ifach) is less than 10 minutes’ drive away and has fantastic views of the peñon de Ifach (Calpe rock)
Facilities include dishwasher, washing machine, linen, beach towels, hairdryer, straighteners, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, full air con, fan on the naya, wi-fi, BBQ (gas and charcoal combined). The villa is perfect for a tennis holiday. It is also perfect for a cycling holiday due to the superior quality of the road surfaces and the winding roads with many hills. Many cyclists train in the area and La Vuelta often runs along the coast road a few minutes walk from the villa.
Note: We provide extra linen including beach towels. You must launder the extra linen or the cost will be deducted from the damage deposit. The cost will be 3 euros per towel, this cost is set by our cleaner. I am unable to not charge for cleaning on the VRBO website, hence the cost of £1.
This is a legal Villa. We have a tourist licence and pay our taxes. You will be required to register your official ID within 24hrs of arrival. This is a Spanish legal requirement just as they have in all legal rentals including hotels. You can check yourself in using the app "check-in scan" or we can arrange for a representative to visit to collect the information (chargeable, please ask for details). Please also be aware that decree law 9/2024 for the Valencia region allows rentals of no more than 10 days. Please see the attachment in the rules and policies for further information.
