Follow the path to your private spacious courtyard and discover the ideal space for entertaining or simply unwinding after a day of sights and surf, then head inside to your perfectly furnished beach retreat. The spacious living room features a plush sectional sofa, a large Flat Screen Apple TV and a cozy fireplace. The modern fully equipped kitchen boasts high end appliances, a Keurig machine as well as a breakfast bar with seating for two. This charming eat-in kitchen also features a dining table with seating for 5. Just steps from San Clemente's beautiful beaches and beach trail, this private and modern beach home was just recently built and includes all of the amenities that you would expect in a high end vacation home. Enjoy entertaining or just relaxing in your private courtyard with a new Hotsprings Spa. The upstairs master bedroom has a new Cal King, private bathroom (shower only) with walk in closet. Downstairs bedroom2 has a queen while the 3rd bedroom has full over twin bunk with an additional trundle that slides out creating 3 beds. There is a full Bath downstairs with shower / tub combo. All modern appliances including Flatscreen TV's in all rooms, coffee maker(s), as well as Apple TV, internet, and Direct TV are included. Enjoy the local beaches with Towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and surfboards which are also included with this rental. The perfect balance between modern features, privacy and convenience, Surfside Cottage offers comfortable accommodations in an ideal location. Nice place close to the beach

My family enjoyed our stay at this cute townhome. There was plenty of space for all 7 us (3 adults and 4 kids). We really loved hanging out in the little courtyard and the it was great having a hot tub. The location is very close to the beach and many restaurants. The host was attentive and great at checking my in during the stay to make sure we had what we needed.

Our favorite family spot!

This beautiful home allows us to spend a week with our grandkids each year. It is a perfect set up and a perfect location! Plenty of room to gather together, and everyone has space for a little alone time. Evenings on the beautifully lit patio after a stroll to the beach were some of my favorite times. Thank you again for a wonderful week! Definitely a repeat client 🤗 See you next year!

Great spot with tons to do within walking distance!

Nice place to hang out and relax with family or walk to the beach. Don’t forget not to miss the trolley that’s within walking distance! It was also nice to come home to a soak in the hot tub and drinks in the back patio each night. Everyone voted this to be our favorite VRBO so far!

Cozy home by the ocean

This was a great place for our family of eight to stay. We enjoyed the hot tub, the close proximity to the ocean, the beach toys in the closet, and the nice neighbors next-door. I would highly recommend. My only critique would be that they need more dishes and utensils. 😊

Close to the beach

Cute house and great location. We loved the close access to the beach trail and the kids loved the hot tub during those foggy So Cal mornings. Plenty of space for our group of 5. Glad there was an included parking spot as the streets are tight and always lined with parked cars. TV cable could use an upgrade, very few channels was an issue during rainy days and March Madness but overall we had a great stay.

We had a nice stay

Everything was as advertised with this place. The beach is super close and super convenient. Only negative was how hot the place was at night. The listing was very clear on no AC but it was right at our limits of tolerance. There are some fans in the rooms but it’s still really hot. There was plenty of kitchen amenities to cook for a full week. Plenty of boogie board/surfboards/wagons/umbrellas. Overall, great experience and great host!

Great experience -- highly recommend

Our stay in San Clemente was a wonderful 4 weeks. We enjoyed the community (restaurants, playhouse, beach a block from the house, etc.). We particularly appreciated the house. This was our second time with VRBO and the experience was superior. The home has the amenities one would like when staying an extended period (dishwasher, washer and drier, DirecTV, larger refrig with icemaker, gas stove, and microwave). It was very comfortable and large enough to host (on 2 occasions) friends from the area who stayed the night (one family with 3 boys!). Though not particular fans ourselves, the hot tub was a hit with the kids. The landlord (Chris) and the neighbors were a delight. We hope we will find a way to return!

House was nice and cute. Very clean , no views though.

There were clothes left in the down stairs bathroom with a dirty towel. We repaired the bunk bed to make it usable. The bunk is not comfortable at all. There was a lot of noise from nearby houses after 930 pm. People partying late. We enjoyed how close to the beach the home is. The hot tub was a big hit with our group. We overall enjoyed this home. We left a few items to donate to the next guests., A pickle ball set and a stock pot. Thank you

Great house in San Clemente

We loved our stay here. The location is great. There is beach access just a minutes walk down the street but we drove 2 minutes each day to get to Linda Lane Park and went to the beach there where there is good (paid) parking and great sand. There are lots of great food options close by. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Weekend Getaway

We had such a great time in San Clemente. The house is in the perfect location. We walked to the pier each morning for coffee, then would come back get our beach gear and walk back down to the beach for the rest of the day. You couldn't find a better location.

Could have been better.

Sparse kitchen with just one plastic mixing bowl. We actually used flat bottom vase for a salad. Grill was too difficult to start because starter was broken. Knifes were poor quality or broken. Everything was more than used including furniture. Bottom bunk which we hoped to use had a very uncomfortable mattress.

Great Hub for a family vacation!

This is a great location, not only San Clemente, but the property itself. It’s a block away from stairs that access a small beach, good for surfing and short swims. I enjoyed this access most as it connects to a bike and jogging path 5 minutes from the San Clemente pier! The stairs were a great way to get a short workout in each day. The kitchen was a good size and functional to feed our family of five. The furnishings were comfortable, clean and arranged nicely. We would recommend a stay, as it is a great value!

Beautiful Home. Perfect Location!!

I spent four days here entertaining 5 kids ranging from age 11 to 18. What a piece of cake it turned out to be. The layout and comfort of the home is outstanding. I had everything we needed to cook meals, do dishes and even a load of laundry. The house was immaculate and available on time. We had two cars, I’m familiar with the area so I was nervous about parking but we never had an issue. Everything in town was in walking distance, next time we’ll definitely rent some bikes to expand our reach. The kids also loved and appreciated all the stairs up and down to the bike / walking path :) We had an incredible time, clear sunny skies, low winds for our bonfire and great ocean temperatures for boogie boarding! Great location. Condo had everything you need, new couch. Only complaint is that the orange carpeting was stained and very dirty. Took away from the nice furnishings and amenities!

Quiet neighborhood

Nice size house with great patio area for outdoor dining. Walk to the beach was about 1/2 mile with beautiful sandy beach and water with no rocks.

Sweet location, nice kitchen, great layout

I hope that we stay here again, as it’s conveniently located to a secluded surf spot and the pier. Plus it’s quiet and safe. Our party of 8 was very comfortable, thanks to the condo’s smart layout and, even though we only used one of the boogie boards, the owner supplies some pretty decent beach toys and gear, so you don’t need to haul a bunch of junk. San Clemente is one of our nation’s great treasures.

My Names Chris I was raised here in my hometown of San Clemente. My Father and I built this townhouse together with a ton of attention to detail in 2008. It has been my home ever since. I currently am a firefighter paramedic and work for the City of Encinitas. I feel blessed to have enjoyed this home over the recent years and am happy to share it with you as long as you promise to enjoy it the same way I have over the years! Why they chose this property

You've heard it before LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION... This Property is literally 1/2 block to a fun little surf break called 204's and SC's awesome beaches. You'll find walking to the pier in the evening or mornings will take about 10-15 mins but will fly right by as you enjoy the newly constructed SC Beach trail. San Clemente's very own Ole Hanson Restored Event Casino is just a short 10 minute walk North along the beach trail. This townhouse has been meticulously maintained and includes all of the modern creature comforts that you would hope or expect to find after viewing the photos. From new linens and towels, to new beach gear, I have spared no expense to make sure you enjoy yourself while staying here.

What makes this property unique

From the close proximity to the beaches and SC Pier to the colorful restaurants and shops of Del Mar Street and the newly constructed SC Outlets as well as the Ole Hanson Casino, this properties location allows for convenient access to all that this cool little city has to offer. I have travelled all over the world and am always happy and grateful to come home to SC. We have what I consider to be some of the best waves, climate and people you will find anywhere on the planet, and because I have lived here my whole life, all you have to do is ask and I will send you to all the secret nooks that make this City so great!
