Welcome to your luxurious, open concept, ranch style walk out vacation home. This is an ideal home for families with older children looking to relax and enjoy the sites and activities that Colorado has to offer. This professionally decorated 4000 sq/ft., 5 bedroom, 4 bath home, air conditioned home is nestled in at the end of a private cul-de-sac , with breath taking views of the Front Range, Lake Woodmoor and Pikes Peak, yet moments to the highway and every comfort. It is conveniently located, just a short drive to many local venues, shopping, sightseeing and of course Air Force Academy, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, The Broadmoor, Manitou Springs and much more.
The main level consists of the Living Room in the round, with a stone gas fireplace, Dining Room, Kitchen, 2 Bedrooms and 2 Baths. The fully equipped kitchen features double ovens and stainless steel appliances,. The deck off the kitchen has a gas BBQ grill and patio table for outdoor dining, while taking in the beautiful views. Large Master Bedroom, with gorgeous views, also opens onto deck. Relax in a free standing bathtub, separate shower, double vanity, in 5 piece spa-like Master Bath.
A perfect way to end a full day of fun is on the expansive lower level, which includes a Huge Great room with stone gas fireplace, full size pool table, Wii gaming systems, wet bar and game table with games galore. Enjoy your favorite movies on the Sony 50” HDTV and DVD player. Just off the Great Room is a covered outdoor patio with comfortable seating, perfect for watching the sun set over the mountains. 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 baths complete the lower level. This home is not intended to be used for events or large parties. So sorry!

Lovely Monument Retreat!

We had such a relaxing time and cooking was easy and fun in this kitchen. Plenty of room to have friends over for dinner. The seating areas for visiting or watching TV and playing pool were perfect. Everything is beautifully decorated and super organized. It was a great place to spend USAFA Parents Weekend.

Great Place to Stay

Our family was in town for a quick getaway and a lacrosse tournament. We had ages ranging from 14-72 with us and the house was perfect. The host, Jennifer, communicated before and during the trip better than any host from any rental service that we've ever used -- fantastic job. The house is well kept and clean, beds and furniture were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with items we needed. The host even let us use some of their camping chairs and coolers for our lacrosse event! Each morning we had a couple of mule deer come into the backyard while we were enjoying coffee on the back deck with views of the mountains and lake which made the mornings even better. I'd highly recommend this rental and will be renting it again myself if the need ever presents itself. Can't go wrong with this one...

Great location & layout

We stayed here for USAFA graduation week. The bedrooms on two levels made it comfortable for our group ages 18 to 80. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals and the lower level entertainment area gave us extra space to relax and have fun. Jennifer provided thorough details prior to our departure and was responsive during our visit as well.

USAFA graduation

I rented this house for the Air Force Academy graduation. We had anywhere from 6 to 8 people each night. The home was beautiful and exactly as described/pictured. Deer in the backyard, gorgeous view of the lake, even views of Pike Peak!! Excellent location as it was north of the Academy and easy to access. Great restaurants right there in Monument. The house was large with plenty of entertainment areas. Excellent communication with the homeowner. I’ve heard horror stories of people having their rentals canceled at last minute, only to see them re-rented for a higher price. This happened to my daughter’s friends family just three days before graduation. I mentioned this fear when I rented this house about 15 months before graduation. The homeowner put my mind at ease, and I knew I was in good hands. This was a beautiful, excellent property to stay in. I recommend it highly. But as I always say with any online rental property, please treat it with respect. Thank you to the owners of this home for helping to make our graduation experience so special!!

Our favorite home away from home!

For two Thanksgiving weekends, we’ve LOVED this warm and cozy home to celebrate with friends and family. Lots of room upstairs for cooking, relaxing by the fireplace, reading on the deck and entertaining. Downstairs pool table, board games, TV, and outdoor fire pit make it fun for everyone. Hosts are wonderful and thought of everything. Even local deer wander by each day to say “hello.” We enjoyed many walks through the neighborhood and around a nearby lake. 🙏🏼🔥😊

Absolutely beautiful home!

We’ve stayed in many rentals in the Springs area and this home is BY FAR the most incredible home we have ever rented! Our hostess, Jennifer, was so accommodating and asked what we needed to start our stay off with minimal stress and maximized comfort. From freshly ground coffee to homemade breakfast breads, we were pampered and well cared for in this home. Necessities were provided, which made cooking & BBQing family meals east and enjoyable! Convenient to the highway and 10 minutes to USAFA- this home checked every box for us and then some! This is truly a home away from home! 💗

Absolutely Gorgeous!

Jennifer and Bob go above and beyond to ensure your visit at their property is everything you dreamed of. The home has designer interiors and all the comforts of home. I can not say enough about this home or it’s owners. I have rented many properties in the past and none have gone to the great measures they did to communicate with us and prepare the home for our arrival. Their hospitality is unmatched. Summer Wedding Bliss

My wife and I traveled to Monument, CO for a wedding. After some fairly in-depth research into various properties we settled on Jennifer & Bob’s Woodmoor property, and it was an excellent choice. The home is exactly as advertised. Actually, it is better than advertised. Because of wedding activities scheduled throughout our stay we decided that we would stay at Woodmoor for all of our meals. The kitchen was well outfitted and exceeded our every need. We spent most of our time on the lovely deck sipping coffee in the mornings and champagne in the evenings. The deck overlooks a well designed and maintained yard and we were even blessed with several wildlife sightings. The home was very, very clean and well organized. My wife and I have stayed at the very nicest resorts in the world over the past 20 years and Woodmoor exceeded our expectations. As nice as the home is, the best part is organization and grace of the hosts. Jennifer was so helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay. Jennifer even completed an errand for us prior to our arrival that left my wife and I incredulous of her effort. They are the very nicest of people. I can’t recommend Bob & Jennifer’s Woodmoor enough if you find yourself traveling to the Colorado Springs area. One tip for you should you stay in the area; My wife and I love outdoor activities. If you like hiking, the Palmer Lake hike trailhead is a very short drive from the home. Download a hiking app for the trail map and complete the 5.2 mile hike counterclockwise. Simply beautiful views and a nice workout. We thoroughly enjoyed the hike. Maybe our favorite hike of all time.

Wonderful house!

The hosts were outstanding and helped us in anyway they could. The house is exceptional and had everything one might want in a vacation property – house was very clean and spacious; kitchen was well equipped; beds were comfortable; pool table and games galore. House is convenient to I-25 and all the main attractions in the area. Would stay again without any hesitation!

Perfect property!

Jennifer and Bob have the gift of hospitality!! Literally everything we needed for a great family Thanksgiving vacation was there on property. Location was perfect for us near kids in CoSprings, Garden of the Gods and Incline, etc. Felt like a home away from home for us and the game room was a big hit! Outdoor fire-pit was cozy, fireplaces even cozier, and carpets kept our feet warm on cold, snowy days. Bug buck and does slept on the grass behind the house and views were excellent from the porch. Would stay at this top notch property again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Stay!

This property was by far the nicest, cleanest, most beautifully decorated rental I have ever stayed in. It is just 5 exits from the North Gate of USAFA, which was awesome. We could be there in a snap. It's close to grocery stores, Starbucks, Walgreens...anything you could need. The home itself is just absolutely gorgeous with vaulted ceilings, two beautiful outdoor sitting areas, tons of games, a pool table, a fantastic game room with TV and sectional couch, lots of seating upstairs, and seriously super comfy beds. There are 4 full bathrooms, and every kitchen amenity you could need. The property manager is just as helpful and kind as can be, and the check-in process was flawless. I cannot say enough about this home. I will book here every time I can when I come to Colorado Springs. It is the perfect home away from home in every sense of the phrase.

Friends Annual Reunion

Absolutely gorgeous home and setting! So much room and privacy for all of the 4 couples in our group. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We had originally planned several off site activities but we ended up cancelling most of them just so we could stay there and enjoy our time together in an atmosphere that felt so warm and welcoming. Everyone in our group agreed that it was the best reunion we ever had... no one wanted to leave! The owners were the most responsive, personable and accommodating that I have ever encountered. A Fabulous Home!

We were a group of eight adults and all us thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Peters’ home for a four-day trip over the Fourth of July weekend. The Peters were wonderful hosts and they simply have a beautiful home that fit our needs perfectly. The eight of us have traveled many times over the past 15 years and this house was at the top of the list. We always start each day drinking coffee on the balcony and this home was no different. We enjoyed the wonderful view of the mountains and lake below each day. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck below the balcony while watching deer quietly stroll through the yard. Inside the home, the house was spotless. The open floor plan was perfect as we could cook in the kitchen while others in group sat in the immediately adjacent and large living room. All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and were very comfortable. The bottom line is that we highly recommend this home as we made great memories here and we look forward to making many more!

Fun Bunch in Colorado

USAFA Graduation 2021

We rented this house for USAFA Graduation 2021 and would definitely rate it as top-notch, 5 stars. Our pleasant experience began when we requested to book and received a personal phone call from the homeowner, Jennifer. She was very attentive, answered our questions and listened to what we were looking for in a rental to make sure her home was a good fit. We were very impressed that she took the time for a personal call. The house is located on a private drive tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a picturesque lake and Mountain View. For USAFA families, the home is in Monument about 10 minutes north of the North gate and close to shops, restaurants and a grocery store. The property is exceptional and impeccably clean. The decor is beautiful and the house has everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The layout of the house is open concept, spacious and the two outdoor areas are perfect for reading, relaxing or drinks in the evening or coffee in the morning. The outdoor fountain on the upstairs deck elevates the peaceful experience. The beds are super comfortable and the special touches throughout the home (like layered bedding, extra blankets, shampoo & conditioner in the showers) give the home a very comfortable and welcoming feel. Check in/ out was easy and nothing out of the norm. There was also a binder available with helpful information about how to work the appliances, doors, outdoor fountain etc... as well as tips/ suggestions on places to eat, visit and see while in Colorado. Jennifer, the owner, is one of the best VRBO homeowners we’ve ever worked with. She was very personable, quick to respond to any questions, incredibly helpful and an overall pleasure to work with. Beautiful Spring Break Getaway

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful home. Arriving for Spring Break the owners shoveled the drive for us and were so thoughtful and helpful with any and all questions I had. This amazing home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and set up perfectly for our family of 5. The lower floor was great for playing pool and watching movies with an entertainment center and big screen tv with comfortable chairs and couches. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and plenty of dishware/cookware and utensils. My favorite part of our stay was that it is in the perfect location to “get away” without being too far from nearby grocery stores, restaurants and we were able to hop onto the interstate and get to Colorado City in just a few minutes. This home is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood with views of the nearby lake and mountains. Waking up to the beautiful view was wonderful! I highly recommend this property. The owners are awesome and will be sure that you enjoy every aspect of your stay. We will be back for sure!

Perfect Get Away

We were a family looking for some downtime. The home was so lovely and very comfortable...filled with many amenities. We spent many a morning with coffee and an evening on the deck enjoying the mountain and lake view. Would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to Colorado Springs.

Vacation

We were looking for a quiet getaway and this VBRO was exactly what we needed. We were welcomed with a goody bag welcoming us to the house which we didn’t see right away because we were captivated by the view of the mountains through the large picture window. We sat on the deck most mornings drinking coffee with the fountain on as we watched deer, rabbits, hummingbirds go by all the while taking in the magnificent backdrop of the mountains. The sunsets were spectacular. Even if it was raining we could sit outside on the covered patio downstairs and enjoy the calming sound of rain falling. We played golf several days, visited the Air Force Academy, went to Crags trail and did a day trip to Breckenridge. The house is spacious, fabulously decorated and had plenty of activities to do right in the house with the pool table and other variety of games. We will be back to Colorado Springs in the future and would love to stay here again.

Family Trip

The Peter's home is everything and more. The home is thoughtfully decorated. It is warm and welcoming. The setting is beyond beautiful. We enjoyed peaceful mornings and evening on the deck and patio. Loved seeing deer in the yard and birds too. The kitchen has everything you will need. We ate in 95% of the time and didn't have to improvise for utensils. Everything is there. The cookbook in the kitchen is wonderful, ordered one on Amazon and had it waiting for me when we got home. All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and beddings. The bathrooms are well supplied. The game room in the downstairs family room was a family favorite. Downtown Monument is quaint and fun. Castle Rock right up the road is so much fun as well. Take the back way to avoid I25 traffic, scenic and quicker. We were all blessed beyond measure by our family get away. We want to come back for another stay. Thank you for making your home so inviting, welcoming and well supplied!
