Horrible experience
We booked this place six months prior for the five weeks stay. We arrived from the airport at night, the same night realized that 2 a/c in the bedrooms were leaking very badly, the beddings were stained, and some broken furniture and we found a few roaches. The next day something happened, and the house had no electricity, which meant no lights and no a/c. The technician arrived the next day and said that the problem was major because the outside meter was dead and the town needed to take care of that, and it would take time. The property manager told us the same thing. The next morning we woke to no water in the house at all!! When I messaged the property manager, she never even replied. I asked the security maybe something had happened in the community and if others had water, but to my surprise, they told me that water for each house is located in the underground barrel, it is delivered. Probably the owner didn't pay for the water delivery. The property management never replied; we were stuck with little kids without electricity and water. I called VRBO right away to notify them that we are looking for a new place ASAP and we are evacuating from this place. I have received an apology message from the owner saying there is nothing they can do about it and that they will help us to find a new place which they never did either. Unfortunately, I still haven't received my refund yet, and it's been a month and a half already! Such a horrible experience never had in my life. I am a host as well and would never let my guests suffer as we did.
