This home quietly sits on Bayou Arcadia with beautiful views of the bayou and miles of marsh. Full boating access with private boat launch. Large deck with outdoor seating, swing, and table. Sleeps 6 Master bedroom with queen size bed and beautiful views. Master bathroom includes custom walk-in shower. Second bedroom with queen size bed and day bed with trundle. ( One twin size XL and one regular twin size mattress ) Guest bathroom includes tub/shower combo. Full kitchen, washer dryer, gas fireplace( for winter only). Hammock and barbecue downstairs. Covered parking under the house. Private boat launch. Two piers, plenty of crab traps and fishing off the piers if not bringing your own boat. Small tacklebox and 2 rods provided. Two kayaks and a canoe with paddles and life jackets also provided (require agreeing to release of liability for use) Very secluded and safe area. Cable TV, Wi-Fi , Netflix included. Approximately 2 miles from the beach by car. Approximately a 10 minute boat ride out the bayou through the bay and into the Mississippi Sound/ Gulf of Mexico. Great fishing. Great escape. Plenty of nearby restaurants. Casino with spa and golf near by. Owner locally available for any assistance. Children welcome however should be fully supervised due to open water and second story. Makes for a great fishing camp or just a romantic couple's getaway.

Great visit in the snow

Another great stay even with several inches of snow. The hosts we're great and communication was excellent. Fishing was good despite the cooler weather than expected.

Could not have been happier with this place. We chartered a boat to take us out to the islands and he was able to pick us up from the pier on the property. Beautiful sunsets, privacy at the end of the street, very clean and cozy accommodation. We will be back

Great Place

It’s a very nice house on the edge of the marsh. Perfect place if you want to relax and do a little fishing. If beaches are your thing, it’s a 10-20 minute drive from multiple beaches that are family friendly. Very laid back area with tons of options on restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and intend to go back to visit in the future.

"Perfect Place to slow down and relax"

For selfish reasons I'm almost reluctant to give the rating this property deserves out of fear that it may never be available for us again. Seriously, this place is amazing! Just What the Family Needed

This is an absolute Jem of a property. The location is quiet and secluded with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. The hosts have done a great job so we immediately settled into a relaxing week of fishing, crabbing, and exploring.

Wonderful, quiet escape!

Wonderful experience! Owners were exceptional even though they were out of town! Really hope to go back to do some fishing off the beautiful pier!

Relaxing Fishing Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfy waterfront home! Very clean, gorgeously decorated and they thought of everything you could ever need on your vacation. The sunset views are breathtaking! The boys had very good luck fishing right off the dock. They caught catfish, redfish, ladyfish and drum. They had better luck fishing right off the dock than on the expensive guided boat ride! We hope to be back soon and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Wonderful week!

Perfect relaxing and comfortable home. Beautiful views and excellent location. Private setting yet close to great restaurants and activities. The host made sure we had everything we needed and that he was available if we had any issues (which we did not). The week was perfect and the boat launch on site was a great bonus. Cabin on the bay. Easily accessible boat ramp.

Paradise on the Bayou!

This was our second time staying at Jimmy and Ashley's and once again it was wonderful! They ensured the home was super comfortable and cozy and you just can't beat the bay view and access from the property. They are the most gracious hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This is a very special place and we will be back again!

Riverside get away

Property was located at the end of a quiet street with a nice vista of the river and marshland. Bed was comfortable, the master bath could use a little more lighting and the kitchen and living area were very homey and nicely decorated. We had fun fishing off the pier both during day and night (bring bug spray). The owners where very to communicate with and attentive to all our needs. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

Great Location

Property located in a very quiet neighborhood on the river. Very relaxed stay. Owner was very responsive to our communication. The location is central to many of the Gulf coast attractions from Pascagoula to New Orleans. We highly recommend a trip to the WWII museum in New Orleans. We made two trips and still did not see everything. The food in the area restaurants was generally above average to excellent. The owners recommendations were spot on. Thanks for everything.

Great location, cozy stay

Our week went by way too fast, and we were sad to leave. The house is the perfect location for privacy but close to restaurants, grocery, bait shop, variety stores and things to do. It is comfortable and interesting. The property is well maintained and very well stocked. This cook enjoyed the open floorplan. The owner is kind and informative about the location. We were treated to several outstanding sunsets accompanying the evening toddy on the deck. Caught blue crab and fish. Perfect.

Nice place, good fishing

Awesome property in a quiet area, house is good enough for 5 friends. Biting gnats were bad so get some bug spray. The house was clean and well equipped, clean, and had nice sitting areas. Mattresses aren't great. We had an amazing time and host communicated well. Kayaks were a nice addition but one was very leaky, so be careful. Caught lots of small redfish, black drum, and junk fish right from the dock and bigger stuff up stream a bit. This would be hard to beat for the price.

Great getaway on the water

This house is a great getaway for fans of the outdoors and fishing! There are two kayaks, a canoe, crabbing and fishing equipment and two docks. We fished right off the dock, but you could also bring your boat. The house was comfortable and had everything you could need and some additional little perks like extra toiletries and kitchen staples. The house would be better served by having at least one king bed, instead of two queens. The bedrooms are very large so it could be accommodated. They also had some wasps on the front porch and I got stung unfortunately. These things happen, but the nests should be cleared out by the owner as a safety precaution. We stayed during a tropical storm and I was surprised the owner didn't check in on us, or at least his home, to see how we fared, but other than that communication with the owner was prompt. The Bay House was a great little getaway. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing spot on the water!

Stayed here in April 2021 and November 2022. The description/pictures do not do justice to how nice

The space was clean and more than we expected. Perfect amount of space for 3 adults and 2 Children. The Communication with the host was top notch, very helpful and answered all of our questions. Will definitely stay there again! Fishing from the dock/bank was perfect, managed to catch several good size fish without leaving the property. Very short distance to the beach, and to some great restruants. The home was incredibly stocked and we needed for nothing all week. We were very fortunate to have super weather the whole time and throughout the week it was like we had all to ourselves. We caught so many fish and our boys got to catch their first fish! Overall it was exactly what we needed, we were completely relaxed by the end of the week and not wanting to go home. I have no complaints about our stay and would go again. The locals were lovely and made you feel really welcome.
