Cozy and quiet cottage in the countryside of Ceglie, in Valle d'Itria

Delightful and cozy villa surrounded by greenery, 5 minutes drive from Ceglie Messapica and 15 from the beautiful coast of Ostuni. Located in the heart of the Valle d'Itria, Ostuni, Alberobello, Cisternino, Brindisi and all the most beautiful places of Salento are easily and quickly reachable.

The villa can comfortably accommodate 4 people in every season of the year and consists of a large entrance / living room with fireplace, double bedroom made of ancient stone lámia, fresh in summer and warm in winter, another bedroom with walk-in closet and two single beds, which can be transformed into a second double bed, kitchen and bathroom already complete with all the necessary amenities.

Outside: large equipped patio, with adjacent wood-burning oven and barbecue area, outdoor shower, basket and availability of numerous parking spaces on the square provided with lighting.
The surrounding land is rich in olive trees and fruit and shade trees; under the oaks there is the relaxation area with several hammocks.
The garden is fenced and has two entrances: the main one has an electric gate, while on the back there is another with a manual gate.

Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir haben uns im Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Wohnzimmer ist im Winter dank des Kamins gut zu heizen. Feuerholz ist ausreichend vorhanden. Das Haus liegt ruhig, nächstgelegene Orte trotzdem gut per Auto oder Fahrrad erreichbar. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Perfect stay in Ceglie.

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay in Puglia. Francesco was a wonderful host. The home was in a great location; very centralized for visiting all the beautiful sites in Puglia. It is situated in an olive tree grove which lends itself to peace and quiet, yet it is only a few minutes drive from Ceglie, a beautiful hillside town with so much history as well as lots of great restaurants. The home was very clean and super comfortable. It is exactly as it appears in the pictures. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a stay in Puglia.

Great country getaway

Away from the tourist attractions but close enough, this home was a tranquil retreat after a day visiting the local attractions. Francesco is a generous host and communication was excellent. Everything you need here and more. Bari and Lecce an hour away by train from nearby Ostuni.

Een prachtige villa

We verbleven in een mooie, verzorgde, kraaknette villa met alle comfort om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. De villa is heel rustig gelegen en toch op een boogscheut van het centrum van Ceglie Messapica. Ideaal om 's avonds een restaurantje bezoeken. Ook een goede uitvalsbasis om de vele mooie stadjes van Puglia te gaan bezoeken. Het contact met de eigenaar Francesco verliep ook heel vlot. Een héél behulpzaam en attent persoon. Location bien située pour les visites, mais …

Pas d'accueil à notre arrivée (ce que je peux comprendre) eau chaude et réfrigérateur non mis en service la notice d’installation étant en Italien nous avons eu du mal à nous installer il serait bien d’avoir une notice dans toutes les langues des vacanciers reçus laissée sur la table à vue. La maison n’est absolument pas fraîche l’été comme indiqué dans l’annonce. Le coin détente ne peut pas l’être, la toile des hamacs est moisi et ce coin est particulièrement infesté de moustiques, d’ailleurs il serait appréciable de conseiller aux vacanciers lors des derniers échanges de se munir de produits anti-moustiques … La maison est bien située pour les visites. Francesco a été réactif lors de nos demandes.

Good location for Puglia with a friendly host

A comfortable and quiet villa, suitable for a family of four or just the two of you. A good-sized fridge freezer, hob (gas and electric) plus fan oven means that you can cook full meals if you so desire. There is a brick barbeque and pizza oven outside, but we didn't use them. There's a lot of outside space with good lighting for those warm evenings to sit and drink a glass of wine or two. This was our second visit, so Francesco (the host) must be doing something right. The villa is situated only 10-15 minutes from Ostuni with Ceglie Messapica only 5-10 minutes away - both were our main shopping towns. Although there is a bus service, I would recommend a car as I don't think it was very frequent. For visiting Puglia this is a good place to stay with all of the obvious tourist locations within 2 hours' drive and long sandy beaches about 30 minutes away. There is a screened, outside shower (with hot water) that is useful for washing off sand from the beach before you enter the villa. Many Puglia towns have an historic centre that is worth visiting, admittedly some are easier to drive into than others, but perseverance is the key. Grottaglie is great for pottery and if you visit Matera then be sure to visit Ginosa which is surrounded by a ravine filled with abandoned cave houses. A great comparison.

Super Erholung!

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit! Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet. Es war alles da, was wir gebraucht haben. Das Grundstück ist riesig und es sind sehr viele Pflanzen da, welche Genug Schatten spenden. Unsere Mädchen hatten viele Spielmöglichkeiten und hatten sehr viel Spaß. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und hoffen bald wieder zu kommen :)

Escapade dans les Pouilles

Semaine très très agréable dans cette villa bordée de soleil le matin et plus douce le soir à l'ombre des quelques palmiers . Propriétaires très sympathiques et facilement joignables . Rien ne manquait à la famille pour son bien être . Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ces 7 jours à Ceglie Messapica .

Séjour Formidable

Villa bien situé à proximité de toutes destinations, nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans cette villa avec une intimité totale, après une bonne douche à l'extérieur barbecue chaque soir à notre retour d'excursions . Nous avons également eu la chance de rencontrer Mr Francesco et son épouse et la madré qui son de belles personnes distinguées et sympathiques. Ne connaissant pas l'italien on a pu se débrouiller et même parfois accompagné de quelques parties de rires Heureusement l'épouse de Mr Francesco a quelques notions de français , mais comme disait la Madré pas besoin de traduire le rire est universel. Une adresse secrète à retenir allez y vous vous sentirez merveilleusement bien

Super relaxtes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten sehr entspannte Tage in Francescos Haus. Es war alles da, was man braucht. Das Haus sehr geräumig und alles in sehr gutem Zustand. Zu zweit haben wir gar nicht alles genutzt (z.B. den Grill). Besonders für Familien ist es sicher noch viel besser geeignet. Die Lage ist sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge für die wunderschönen Städte und deren Sehenswürdigkeiten im Valle d'Itria. Auch die nächstgelegene und nicht so bekannte Stadt Ceglie ist auf den zweiten Blick wunderschön.

Schönes Ferienhaus, Entspannung pur

Absolut empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus, sehr sauber, große Terasse und Garten in einer sehr schönen Umgebung. Der Vermieter ist sehr herzlich und immer ansprechbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben die schöne Umgebung und umliegenden Städte (Ostuni, Ceglie Messapica, Cisternino, Martina Franca usw) und auch die Dörfer mit dem Rad erkundet. Auch das Meer ist nicht weit. Danke Francesco für die Gastfreundschaft, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wunderschöne und ruhige Oase zwischen zwei Meeren

Wer die Ruhe in mitten der Natur sucht aber trotzdem nicht weit von vielen Ausflugszielen und dem Meer sein will ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet und hat einen riesigen Garten mir verschiedensten Bäumen und Palmen. Sie können alle Mahlzeiten gemütlich draußen auf der Terrasse einnehmen. Wir durften auch die herzlichen Gastgeber Luciana und Francesco kennenlernen die während unserem ganzen Aufenthalt immer für uns erreichbar waren. Sie haben alles perfekt organisiert von der Anreise bis zur Abreise. Die Umgebung ist voller interessanter und wunderbarer Orte wie Ostuni, Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello... um nur ein paar wenige zu nennen die in der Nähe des Ferienhauses leicht mit einem Auto zu erreichen sind. Kurz zusammengefasst können wir das Ferienhaus von Luciana und Francesco nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Relax in Valle d'Itria

Se cercate tranquillità e totale relax in una villa in campagna ma a 20/30 minuti dalle spiagge sull'Adriatico, poco più da quelle sullo Ionio, e vicino ai principali centri della valle d'Itria, questa è la casa per voi. Difficile aggiungere altro alle belle recensioni precedenti, difficile esprimere quanto il nostro soggiorno sia stato piacevole e rilassante. Confermiamo tutto: casa, pulizia, servizi, spazi interni ed esterni, accessori, dotazioni e - soprattutto - accoglienza, gentilezza, simpatia e disponibilità di Francesco. Undici giorni bellissimi.

A great place to escape to, private transport a must.

Just had a two week stay here, end of August beginning of September. The owner, Francesco and his partner, are very helpful, friendly and easy to contact. The directions given from Brindisi airport are some of the easiest to follow and most accurate that we have ever received. The property is in a rural location set back from the road, within a large garden and orchard. Although on a main route between two local towns the noise of the little traffic that there was is well screened out by the trees at the front of the property and didn't disturb us. The holiday let itself is at the back of the house proper (we had sole occupancy) and is modern, light and spacious. It is well appointed, with everything that you need and if you wish to self-cater it has a well appointed kitchen with storage space for your groceries. If you don't, then Ceglie Messapica is only 5 minutes drive away and has a number of restaurants, Ostuni is about 15 minutes away and the coastal, beach areas about 30. The main "patio area" as shown in the property picture is east facing and so captures the sun for breakfast, although there is an area shaded by trees to one side if that's what you prefer. We never had a meal indoors during our stay. Our typical day was a sunny breakfast, then a trip out somewhere (Matera and Lecce are about 90 minutes away if you wish to travel that far) before returning to relax in the afternoon. The addition of an outside, screened shower is a master stroke, especially appreciated when returning from the beach or to cool off if it becomes too hot in the sun. I thoroughly recommend a stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Wonderful

This is a great place to stay. Plenty of room both inside and outside and, very comfortable. And, it has a wonderful outdoor shower! Only a 5 minute drive to the center of Ceglie and all the great restaurants. Yet, the property is secluded and is very quiet. Convenient road access to all the places we visited in Puglia, including the beach. The owners, Francesco and Luciana are wonderful. This is a place we plan to stay at when we return to Puglia.

Très belle maison dans une des plus belles parties de la région

L'architecture singulière de la maison et l'espace confortable alentours donnent un charme indéniable à cette location. A quelques kilomètres de la charmante ville de Ceglie, où l'on pourra facilement profiter de la fraîcheur des débuts de soirée en flânant dans les ruelles ou en s'attablant aux diverses terrasses et restaurants de la vieille ville, on retrouve le calme et la beauté de la campagne avoisinante dans cette belle et grande propriété qui se distingue des autres constructions de la région. Les propriétaires sont très avenants et sympathiques, toujours disponibles pour répondre à vos demandes et vous assurer un agréable séjour dans cette maison de famille. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à séjourner chez Francesco et nous ne pouvons que vous recommander cette location.

Top Ferienunterkunft

Schönes sauberes komplett ausgestattetes Haus. Dazu gehört eine große schöne Außenanlage mit Grillplatz und einer Außendusche um sich abzukühlen. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und mit einigen Ideen für Unternehmungen und Auskünften über Lebensmittelgeschäften in der Nähe sehr Aufmerksam. Diese Anlage ist sehr zu empfehlen, sodass ich und meine Familie uns schon für dieses Jahr 2018 unsere Sommerferien wieder dort gebucht haben.
