About this property

Beautiful manor palace in the Plaza de Doña Elvira, in the center of the Barrio de Santa Cruz. It is a house that occupies the entire side of the square. It was built by the famous architect Fernando Chueca Goitia as his family home in Seville. It is the only house with garden and swimming pool two minutes from the Cathedral in the very heart of the Historical Quarter. A wonderful exclusivity.
It is accessed by an iron gate and the first thing we find is its garden with its palm trees, wisteria, and its wonderful pool. With chairs, chairs, the smell of orange blossom, and although this in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the history area, is a haven of peace. Linda with the Venerables.
Then you access the house by a large staircase.
Once inside the house, we have on our left a small room with its bathroom with shower, and in front of it is the kitchen. Following this main floor there is a guest toilet, then a large dining room and then the living room. We go up to the first floor and we have a large double room with its full bathroom, we call it the pink room, with 2 beds of 110 x2. Next we call the green room, with a King size double bed with its shower cloth. These beds can be divided into two 90 x2 beds.
Finally we get to a small exit, then a large bathroom and the main room, which we call blue, with King size double bed.
All of it with large windows overlooking the beautiful Plaza de Doña Elvira. Breathtaking views and with the peace and smell of orange blossom garden. An authentic palace in the heart of the Santa Cruz neighborhood.

The house also has a completely independent tower, with occupancy for 4, which also use the garden and pool.
You can rent the whole property, so that your use of the garden and pool would be completely private.

Magic

Gorgeous home decorated in true Andalusian style. If you appreciate architecture & design, love being in the center of an authentic Sevilla neighborhood, this house is for you. Perfect Central Location, Spacious and Bright Home!

Our family loved this location, it was within just a few hundred yards of literally dozens of places to eat and sites to see (Cathedral, etc.). Arrival from airport will require a dropoff about 150 yds from the villa, as vehicles are not allowed (nor would they be able!) to pull up to this part of the Historic District. But very short walk. Check-in easy, home fully stocked with key appliances, very clean, it felt like a fancy hotel but we had it all to ourselves. We were there in a major heatwave (temps>100F for multiple days), the AC in the villa worked fine so we were able to sleep at night. We recommend renting bikes (there are spots all over the area). Host was lovely and responsive, both prior to our arrival in Spain and then while we were in Sevilla. Good stuff, you will enjoy your stay here!

Friends trip in Seville

The whole process was very easy. Rosario was our online contact and Elena took us through the property on arrival at the villa. The home is truly beautiful and very well appointed. The neighborhood is convenient to all Seville has to offer and it was so awesome having evenings in the portico or in the great room with all of our dearest friends. We only wish it were warm enough for the pool to be open, but now we have a great reason to return in the Summer months! Definitely stay here if you want a true Andalusian experience in the heart of Santa Cruz Barrio. LOVE!!!

Fantastic Villa and location

This is a lovely villa, and you will definitely feel you are staying in a VILLA. Pictures and descriptions are accurate. We were a group of 5 women travelers. We received excellent instructions on finding the villa - it is in the pedestrian only area. We were met by the manager who showed us all the ins and outs of staying there - with an instruction book to back up any forgetfulness. The villa is decorated in antiques and comfortable furniture. Truly an exceptional experience. Excellent heating options - it was chilly outside at night in February. The location simply can’t be beat. We were about a 2 block walk to Real Alcazar and Cathedral. There were wonderful food options and night life near by. There are 4 bedrooms but we ended up doubling up in the twin beds room and one of the kings. We found the small bedroom bed, off the kitchen, not comfortable enough - it is a bit narrow. There is great closet/drawer space and comfortably sized bathrooms. We were so busy, we regretted that we never used the outdoor walled in patio/pool area. The pool was closed this time of year. We used the main living room often with it’s comfortable couches. A great place to un-plug and chat at the end of the day. We stayed 4 nights in this perfect location and this villa helped make Sevilla be at the top of our European experiences. There is a flight of stairs to the front entrance and a flight to the 3 bedrooms on the “2nd” level - all in all, 3 stories. We managed them fine, but also believe a railing would be a good addition going to the “3rd” floor bedrooms. The management is VERY responsive, even got us restaurant reservations when we struggled with the phone options. They stock soap for the clothes washing machine, this was very helpful. Never used the kitchen except for the wine opener - LOL. We were travelers from USA so we used WhatsApp for texting owners once we arrived in Sevilla. Thank you to the owners and managers for this lovely experience.

Great location , well worn apartment, small kitchen

Not particularly clean when we arrived. Mustiness .Master bedroom has bed that is well worn. Kitchen is very small and not well appointed for cooking meals. Very small oven. Not many dish towels, napkins, not enough dishwasher soap, we left the kitchen much cleaner than it was when we arrived ! Not enough keys for a large group of people Clothes Washing Machine doesn’t work well and leaves soap on your clothes... No dryer Great location and spacious for a large group. Lots of beautiful antiques throughout Outdoor patio by the pool very worn and unkempt.. Overall we made due but the apartment needs a facelift Communication with the owner difficult because she doesn’t live there

Beautiful Home in "Old City Sevilla"

Palatial Villa!

This villa is stunningly beautiful and in a great location. I would certainly return! It is not for anyone with a handicap as the interior stairs are many and steep and have no handrails and the villa requires a walk of about two blocks with your luggage as it is in a pedestrian only zone. We arrived about 40 minutes early and were fortunate that a man in the restaurant next door was able to call the property manager for us. (I may have been given the number but I did not have it if so). For some reason when we booked, they said it would take us an hour from the train station and it was a quick 15 minute ride. The villa is beautiful, but we were initially turned off by the very green, algae-laden swimming pool which had been brilliant blue in the photos. We also were not forewarned that a pool man , who arrived the next day and spoke no English, had access to the villa and would be letting himself in and out. It was not a problem but a heads up would have been nice. The villa is next to a restaurant (with nice people and decent food). We were told it would be quiet at night, but it was not, as the customers were eating right beneath our windows and the cleanup often went on until the wee hours. I had hoped to keep my window open, but learned after two noisy nights to close my window and use the air conditioner. All of that being said, this is not “Kansas anymore, Toto” and European homes have their quirks. The beautiful villa with its stunning tile, woodwork and art will make you feel like royalty, the manager Elena was delightful, and the location is well worth the minor aggravations.

Perfect Location in Seville

The property in located in the heart of historic Seville. The rooms are decorated with classic historic antiques and traditional furniture but the property has modern amenities such as ductless air conditioning units and a pool. We had a memorable time as a family staying in this beautiful locale.

GORGEOUS Historical Villa in Unbeatable Location

This gorgeous home in the heart of Sevilla is impeccably maintained, historically significant, and architecturally breathtaking. Our family of 5 enjoyed the beautifully appointed spaces filled with antiques, art, and Spanish culture, as well as the prime location of the home on a pretty plaza near the Alcazar, Cathedral, restaurants, and flamenco clubs. Rosario was wonderful about communicating in advance of our arrival, and she has an excellent property manager in Sevilla, Elena, who could not be more enthusiastic, accommodating, helpful, or kind. This did not detract from our experience at all, but the small 4th bedroom immediately adjacent to the kitchen is TINY and not air conditioned. Thus, we did not use the room, and doubled our daughters up in the pretty red room (with two twin beds) upstairs. That worked well for us, but might not for everyone depending on the size/composition of your group. Thank you, Rosario, for an unparalleled experience in Sevilla; your home is so special, and we feel so lucky that you are willing to share it with travelers. Simply AMAZING!

The house and garden were the perfect oasis in Seville!

We loved everything about this property. It’s is beautiful and spacious and provided everything we need. It is less than 5 minute walk to the entries for the Alcazar and the Cathedral. Despite its situation in the heavily touristed Santa Cruz neighborhood, the house and garden provided a beautiful, private, quiet respite.

Great house in Sevilla centre

Amazing house, with great accommodations, a wonderful pool and an excellent location is the least that can be said about this house. Much more than your ordinary rental, in this house you have the true opportunity to feel yourself as part of Sevilla's history. FANTASTIQUE !!!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette maison, située en plein Séville, mais pourtant très calme. Dans le jardin, nous avons le sentiment d'être complètement isolés. Le jardin est inondé de soleil, avec de grands palmiers, plein d'oiseaux, des fleurs. L'intérieur de la maison est somptueux, on a l'impression d'être dans un musée tant les objets anciens sont précieux. le salon et la salle à manger sont très spacieux; la cuisine est plus petite mais vient tout juste d'être refaite. Enfin les 3 chambres à l'étage, ainsi qu'un petit salon, sont très agréables. Le contact avec Rosario a été excellent, encore un grand merci.

great location and beautiful house.

we had fantastic time with our friends here (4 adults and 5 kids in total) and all was perfect. We all enjoyed the pool (just few minutes) even begining of Nov (quite fresh!!). Note the house is just above a nice restaurant and a beautiful place with Orange trees. Thanks so much !

Schitterend gelegen appartement in hartje Sevilla.

In het voetgangersgebied, vlak bij de kathedraal en het paleis ligt dit sfeervolle appartement. Via een hek krijg je toegang tot de afgesloten tuin van het appartement. In deze tuin ligt het zwembad. Het water was (begin oktober) fris. Vanuit de tuin heb je toegang tot een brede statige trap waarmee je naar de toegang van het appartement gaat. Op deze eerste etage zijn de keuken, een toilet en een klein kamertje met douche-gelegenheid. Daarnaast is op deze etage een grote eetkamer en een zitkamer. Alles is heel sfeervol ingericht. Genoeg glazen, borden en bestek, keuken heeft gasfornuis, grote koelkast en vaatwasser. Op de 2e etage is een lange gang aan de voorkant, met daaraan 4 slaapkamers. Jammer dat een van die slaapkamers slechts via een andere bereikbaar is. Het hele huis heeft airco en is makkelijk koel te houden. De hele binnenstad is op loopafstand. Aanrader dus.

Wonderful traditional Sevilla home.
