HSRC and Staff are Great - GO SEE ANGELA MARIE

Angela Marie and her staff help make everything perfect. If we had an issue in any condo, they were on top of it with smiles on their faces. Very pleasant. If you go to HSRC, I hope you have the pleasure of meeting Angela Marie, Destiney, Brittany, Alex & Cory. They're all wonderful.

The latest upgrade to the unit is the best, all new flooring, more roomy feel, great art works, latest amenities. Access to the beach is so handy, white sands are wonderful. Favorite restaurant is nearby, Louisiana Lagniappe, also like the Back Porch, Dewey Destin and Pompano Joe"s not too far away. Great relaxing get away.

Great Spring Break!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was another great stay at HS&RC. We have been coming for 35 years & never disappointed. Room was great. Only a few minor comments for improvement. Patio could use a good power washing. We kept it swept off but really needed a good cleaning. We know rooms have sofa beds & they never make for a comfortable couch but, it could use some more comfy side chairs. Last the shower curtain liner in tub/shower is so thin & light that when you shower it almost wraps around you. Like I said these are just minor things & did not take away from our stay. Great time, friendly staff, great beach service.

Beautiful condo!

I have beencoming to holiday S&R since I was a baby and it’s our favorite place! The condo was beautiful and we loved having easy pool and beach access with the patio gate. The place was very clean and well stocked! Master bathroom is a bit small but that’s the only complaint.

Excellent Resort Feel Condo

Memorial Day

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. It definitely wasn’t as crowded as other areas. The location of the condo was very convenient. There isn’t an “ocean view” but you can’t beat staying on the first floor when you have kids. The condo was clean , water was hot, beds comfy. we loved having the drink fridge as well. My 2 issues are the AC is EXTREMELY loud. It woke myself or my kids up every night. If you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you. Also, there was no way to contact the owners if there was an issue. These units have a front desk so I’m sure you can call them but this is the first time we’ve stayed anywhere and unable to contact the owners. Overall we had a nice stay!

Whenever possible I stay in unit #107, since I know the former owners and appreciate their hospitality. I really like the ground floor apartment and its easy access to the beach and pool. I was pleasantly surprised by all the renovations the new owners have provided. The redone master bathroom is a real treat -- no fogged up mirror, expanded vanity. Furniture is comfortable, decor is modern with great art to put you in a beach house mood. Kitchen has also been redone with all new appliances.the beach was the real treat. Two years ago at high tide the the water was up to the bottom of the steps coming over the dunes. This year there is "endless sand". Enjoy!

Like brand new & beautiful!!

First of all this condo was so tastefully done. Bravo to the owner! The decor was absolutely perfect and comforting. Aside from that… It was during Covid time in March and we really appreciated having a ground-floor to go straight to the beach. It was so convenient! To sum it up... It was so easy to get into with our own code and parking, and head straight to the walkway & onto the beach! Really enjoyed the complementary chairs and umbrella! Absolutely loved the space it was beautiful with more than we needed to feel comfortable and spacious. We felt very clean and more than satisfied! This is definitely a highly recommended condo and we plan on returning someday!

Wonderful property, very very clean!

We absolutely loved, that this property offers a handicapped ramp, right down to the beach! We enjoyed our stay. The room we stayed in was beautifully kept, refreshing and a comfortable stay.

Location / Open Concept/Condo Extras

This is our 3rd stay at Holiday Isle and the layout of this condo is the best.. Very open concept between large kitchen & dining and living room. The two bedrooms are split, so we did not hear each other's TV at night. We used the dining room's built in coffee bar (& drink fridge) much more than we expected! And the clear glass door was helpful, too. We will be returning to this unit this summer.

Excellent, clean, and convenient

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Surf and Racquet Club. Very clean with most needed amenities. We thought the washer/dryer was in the condo but it is communal that you have to pay for. Loved the beach package with the two beach chairs and umbrella every day. First floor condo was very easy and convenient to come and go. Nice pool and tennis courts. Lots to do in Destin. Had a great time.

HSRC Holiday Isle Destin - A Snowbird’s view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our first year as full time snowbirds could not have been better. The facility is perfectly located on Holiday Isle, has direct access to the beach via its own boardwalk, a well kept heated pool, newly resurfaced tennis and shuffle board courts, free new release movie rental kiosk, fitness center, BBQ stations and secure 24 hr entry. Unit 107 was nicely equipped with all new furniture, full kitchen equipment and updated decor. Destin has a plethora of restaurants with harbour views, excellent Happy Hour specials all along the shoreline and a wide assortment of shopping opportunities. All in all a must experience location.

Keep Ms. Kilgore Away From the Guests

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Isaac & Cooper were great at the beach. With the exception of Ms. Kilgore, the staff at the office was easy to work with. The sooner the homeowners association can find a manager to replace the active manager, the better off they will be. I asked a number of staff members their opinion of Ms. Kilgore and could not get a positive response from any of them. It's really too bad that she is acting as manager for such a great place to stay. This was our 3rd time there and we have never been this disappointed with how we were treated by her. Prior to our families next visit, I'll make sure I verify she is no longer acting as the general manager. If she is still in that position, I'll unfortunately have to find another place for my families to stay, because I will not be treated that way again.
