We come to Tahlequah every summer to float the river and multiple other things and this is our favorite Vrbo so far! Close to town and very secluded, we will definitely rent many times in the future!
Very clean, quite and well kept property. We only stayed a few days but would love to come and visit longer. Communication with Pam was easy and she provided great instructions.
Pam’s property is the ultimate weekend getaway, especially if you have family or friends joining. Her place was just as described and I think the cleanest vacation home I’ve been in yet. If you’re looking to explore eastern Oklahoma, stay at this cabin in the woods!
Clean, beautiful cabin nestled on a gorgeous piece of property. We enjoyed sitting by the fire, and watching wildlife. Property was close to restaurants, and just a short drive to the Illinois River for floating!
Beautiful cabin with wildlife all around, I saw deer around the cabin along with a bald eagle scouting the property. Really like master bedroom, super comfortable and separate showers were nice. Gas fired logs were nice after being wet and cold on the water all day on lake Tinkiller.
Fantastic host with such a beautiful property. Inside and out, you will not be disappointed in this Vrbo. 1 mile to the lake! Quiet and peaceful! Would recommend this to family and friends!
This provided a perfect place for our family of four to enjoy a weekend getaway. It was extremely well-kept and clean, and it had all the amenities we needed (coffee maker, fridge, toaster, fire pit, porch swing...even a clothes line). My kids loved being able to walk around the property on the paths. The property made for incredibly tranquil and enjoyable mornings with coffee on the large front porch. We greatly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hospitality.
Beautiful cabin nestled in the woods. Cabin was well equipped and supplied with anything you needed (coffee, smores, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and oil for cooking. I overpacked expecting to have to provide these essentials. Bedding, furniture and patio were very comfortable. The location is perfect for a trip to the lake or a float down the river. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home.
We throughly enjoyed this cabin! It was perfect for us. It was clean and well stocked. There wasn’t anything we needed and didn’t have. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Walking the trails was fun and we got to enjoy lots of wildlife during our stay. It was also very close to a boat ramp which was a must for us. We will absolutely return!!
This property is great. This was our third time staying here with friends. We love how close it is to both Tenkiller Lake and the Illinois River. Beds are a bit uncomfortable, but for the privacy it’s still worth it.
We enjoyed a very relaxing week at this quiet and cozy cabin. The property is amazing, and the sunsets were spectacular. Pam, the host is super helpful and very accommodating. We can't wait to go back!
I'll start by saying; Pictures do NOT do this place justice! I was looking for a week long getaway with my close family and this was the first place that caught my eye. Upon arrival, I was honestly surprised with the amount of land and privacy. *VERY hard to find on lake Tenkiller. Most of the houses are right up on each other.* After getting settled in, there was everything you needed in the cabin without having to load up and bring your house with you. I also really appreciated they allowed my dog to stay with us. *I think she enjoyed the trip just as much as we did with all the land she could roam.* Pam was very good with communicating with me the whole time and we look forward to coming back in the future!!
We had a great time here at this property stayed 2 days it was verry clean neat spacious we felt right at home we will be back soon thanks for having us the vestles
Everything was simple and easy to set up. The place was perfect and just what I was looking for as a place to relax. We had a great time and used most of the amenities. They even had things we forgot to bring which was nice. Beautiful property and cabin. I would definitely stay again.

About the host
Hosted by Pam Pulliam
My husband and I have lived at Pettit Bay for the last 37 years. We enjoy the peaceful, rural surroundings and beautiful Tenkiller Lake. We raised our children in this area. We love the lake and are excited to share this area with you, your family or guests.
What makes this property unique
The property is gated and secluded. You may see all kinds of natural wildlife. There are 2 ponds on the property. One pond is easily visible and the other one, we call the secret pond, is hidden in the woods. You are welcome to fish in both. The lake is just minutes away, down the mountain, at Pettit Bay Campground. There is easy access to boat launching, fishing and swimming at Pettit Bay Campground. You are welcome to hike and explore the 37 acres, fish in the ponds, and build a campfire in the fire pit. We will provide wood for your campfires. There is vinyl plank flooring in the living areas and wood laminate flooring in the bedrooms of the log cabin. There is also a faux wood gas heater in the living area. The log cabin is also handicapped accessible.
