There is also a bathroom, a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. Outside there is a patio with furniture and a BBQ where you can enjoy the surrounding countryside views with your morning cup of tea. There is also off road parking for two cars and bike storage. Curlew Cottage is a fantastic choice for a romantic retreat.

The nearby Bowes Museum is well worth a visit and a wonderful way to spend a day wandering around this beautiful building and experiencing the fascinating exhibitions.
