Enjoy a relaxing stay at the Birch View Cabin located six miles outside the heart of historic downtown Talkeetna. This 437 square foot studio style cabin was built on quiet privately-owned property. With a queen bed and full size couch pull out this cabin sleeps four comfortably. The kitchen has full size appliances and is stocked with coffee, tea, and everything you need to create your own delicious meal. This cabin has one bathroom with a large walk-in shower and washer/dryer. It is family friendly and pets are welcome, with a fee, on approval by owner. Wi-fi Internet now included.

Wonderful little cabin!

We thought this was a marvelous place to stay! It was very well equipped and quite cozy! It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely stay there again given the opportunity!

Great place

Fantastic place for two people. Everything you need and great location just outside Talkeetna. Especially liked the Talkeetna Lakes State Park nearby with great trails and beautiful views. Also, great views of Denali and Mt. McKinley on clear days.

We loved our stay. It is in a great location. Close to town but just outside enough for the tranquility we were looking for. It was so cozy and cute! The host was amazing to work with. She was so sweet.

Great little cabin in the woods

Wonderful and comfortable place to stay while in Talkeetna! The pictures don’t do this cabin justice! Everything was nice and clean! The kitchen was well equipped to make a nice dinner. We appreciated being able to do laundry while on our trip. We enjoyed our time at this peaceful cabin!

Perfect for our needs

We spent two days here while exploring Denali National Park. The cabin is conveniently located about halfway between Anchorage and Denali, so it worked well for us. We bought groceries at Cubby's down the road and cooked our own meals in the well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The washer and dryer made it convenient to run a load of laundry before we continued on our Alaska trip. Everything was clean and perfect for our needs. Thank you, Meghaan! Tip: Be sure to stop by the Alaska Birch Syrup store just a few miles away on Talkeetna Spur to bring home unique and tasty Alaska gifts and support a small local business!

Great seclusion

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Lots of privacy with the needed amenities. There was absolutely nothing missing from our stay. We enjoyed the quiet seclusion of the cabin, with all the necessities of Talkeetna 5 minutes away. We will definitely be returning soon.

Cozy cabin with thoughtful touches

This cabin was cozy, and our host provided things that made the stay extra comfortable. Coffee and teas were perfect for hanging out on the porch of the cabin nestled among birches. The washer and dryer were a definite plus. We would gladly recommend the property to others.

Cozy Talkeetna Tiny Home

Clean, spacious, close to town and activities. The perfect spot for family summer or winter. We enjoyed it Som much and the rain turned to snow, so we were able to book an extra nite.

Well equipped cabin

We were happy to find a place that could accommodate our dachshund and was convenient to Talkeetna. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking, taking care of the dog, sightseeing, grilling, relaxing, and washing clothes. It had all the conveniences of being at home. The owner was friendly and helpful. They even had ear plugs and eye masks for the Alaska long summer sun.

Perfect cabin in the woods

We stay at rentals winter and summer in Talkeetna and this one is fantastic. I loved the location, the little things like hot herbal teas and a few items in the kitchen drawer like a scissor and glue! They not only allow dogs but seem to really prepare for them, and help you be a good pet visitor with dog waste garbage and a little shovel outside! A spare sheet to cover the bed if you can’t convince your dog to sleep on the floor. :-) highly recommend this cabin - it really is a top option in this area!!

Quiet get away
