FANTASTIC Holiday home in Sandown (Private Entrance) near to beach with garden

This is a fabulous one bedroom holiday home in the heart of Sandown with the benefit of sea glimpses. Nicely tucked away on a private driveway with parking. Private front and rear access. Self check-in available. 20% off ferry travel upto May 23 2024 on red funnel. (May have new discounts after that date) Non smokers only please. It is walking distance to the lovely sandy beaches, town centre ( not looking it's best), restaurants and transportation. A Car is not necessary if you like travelling on the local buses and the train station is approx 15 minutes away. This home will appeal to all types of couples whether energetic or those who just want a relaxing holiday. Private patio. Many coastal walks and bike trails within minutes. Near attractions like Dinosaur Isle and IOW zoo famous for its tiger sanctuary. Umbrella, chairs, beach towels, cooler for beach all available without extra charge.
Excellent also for a WINTER BREAK. The island is much quieter in the winter months and many attractions are open all year round.

IOW HOLIDAY

Very clean and has all the relevant equipment for a No-hassle stay. Extremely comfortable double bed. Everything worked fine. Host made provision for my cycle.

A home from home

We were very pleased with the accommodation and the little extras we found on our arrival which we greatly appreciated. Even the weather was kind. Entrance to house can be hidden by parked cars and so follow info from Kerry!! The inside stairs were well planned but might be difficult for those with significant mobility problems. We appreciated the art on the walls!

A great find this lttle GEM , secluded position, off road parking, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The garden at the rear was lovely to sit out on the patio and enjoy that glass of wine (or 2). Lovely two story semi-detached apartment with beautiful back garden. All the mod-cons one needs for a comfortable stay. Kerry & Paul ensure the unit is spotless and ready for a worry free visit. Close to a lovely family oriented neighbourhood pub (Caulkheads), and a short walk to beautiful Sandown Beach, this property is ideally located for a holiday on the IOW.

Perfect for two

Tweedy Pie is an ideal place to stay for two. The layout was clearly very carefully considered and fits a lot of utility into a small footprint - everything you could need for your stay. The garden was immaculate and a perfect spot to relax on a sun lounger in the afternoon. Close to the high street, close to the beach, and Kerry was a great host

Lovely Holiday!

Comfortable cottage with many thoughtful extra touches. Very quiet, with off road parking. Outside plug available where we could plug our car in as needed was a bonus. Nowhere on the island is more than an easy journey away, we did some lovely walks, and had an excellent week's break.

Honeymoon trip

We loved the cottage and the owner was really nice and very helpful. She left a lovely hamper of food for us we we really enjoyed.The only thing was it was a little bit further away from buses and the high street than we thought. We would certainly recommend the cottage to anyone else. Had a lovely honeymoon. Many thanks Michelle and Simon.

Great little holiday house

We were very pleased with our stay at Tweedy Pie. Lovely and clean and has everything needed for a comfortable holiday. Great host. Good transport links close to bus stop so no car needed. We would recommend a stay here and would stay again. 😀.

Perfect little holiday house

Kerry and Paul were the perfect hosts of their lovely little holiday home, which had everything you could possibly want, or ever need. We even had a lovely welcome basket left in the kitchen, which was really very thoughtful. We had such a nice time on the island, exploring everywhere during the day, and then returning to our peaceful little holiday home where we could enjoy the afternoon sun in the pretty and secluded garden. Thank you K&P, we hope to be able to come back one day.

Excellent accommodation & host

The property was just lovely and had everything you could possibly want or need. I brought my bike and Kerry kindly let me store it in her shed and talked me in when I stupidly couldn’t find my way . The location is great for town or beach and I was grateful for the train link when it poured with rain on my return day. An exceptional rental I would highly recommend. Oh & the welcome pack - bliss , fabulous tasty treats !!!

Perfect for two!

This was a lovely holiday home from home. We had a very friendly welcome from the hosts and the property was comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. Although Covid has imposed some restrictions there was nothing missing from our experience. It was in a very convenient location, literally round the corner from Sandown beach with easy access to the rest of the island which has some beautiful scenery. It was an ideal base for two people. Highly recommended!

We moved to Sandown 8 years ago and absolutely love the location. We feel like we're on holiday ourselves when we walk down to the beach or sit and enjoy one of many meals at our favourite restaurants alfresco. So this is why we built our holiday cottage so that other travellers can also enjoy the great location and have a wonderful holiday experience.
