Rome 2024

Great spot. Perfect location to EVERYTHING. Maybe 100’ away from the Trevi Fountain. Easy walk to the Colosseum, Pantheon etc. A million places to eat any kind of food. You could stay in this spot and see something new or eat at a great place everyday for 6 months and would not hit the same place twice.

Great location, quirky apartment

Location, location, location! This is a block from Trevi Fountain with lots to do, walking distance to many restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping, attractions, etc. Check in was easy, although we had to pay a late check in fee. Communication was okay. We didn’t know and couldn’t find the correct place to take the trash out. But they did arrange for transportation from the airport. The apartment was super charming and kinda quirky, with high ceilings and wood beams. There have been a couple of updates since the pictures were taken. The view of the top of the president’s house is kinda cool. The electricity thing was an issue and strange, see previous reviews. We were there during a heat wave and came back to a hot apartment, although the AC in the living room was awesome, the bedroom one seemed overworked and underperforming. The water heater could not keep up. My husband had at least part, if not a complete cold shower our entire stay. The sheets and towels seemed old and rough. Two bathrooms were awesome and supplying a hair straightener was a nice surprise. But the listing says 2 bidets, there is only 1. Be aware this apartment is up 4 stories of steep, narrow stairs and no lift. We had a difficult time getting our luggage up and down the stairs. I appreciate the location!

Overall good stay!

We loved the location of this property. It is right next to the Trevi fountain and within walking distance of several restaurants and cafes. The property itself is very beautiful with lots of stone and design throughout. Good communication with the property management via WhatsApp. Check-in was different than in the states (needed a copy of passport and money for city taxes) but we learned that is Rome policy for all travelers. The only part that was a disappointment was the level of cleanliness. It definitely could have used a good dusting (especially in shelves/cupboards). Overall, I would recommend this to other guests looking for reasonably priced lodging in a good location!

Excellent location

The location and appearance of this unit were excellent. You are about one block from the Trevi Fountain but on a surprisingly quiet street. The apartment looks very nice and was very comfortable. There were two a/c units that worked great keeping the rooms at a nice cool temperature. The only things missing that would have made this 5 stars were the basic toiletries you expect in any hotel or VRBO. No bar of soap for showering, no little shampoo bottles, nothing. We had to find a store to buy two bars of soap. Also the towels were very old and rough, obviously having been washed, bleached, and dried many, many times. Sometimes it is these little things that make a difference. I still highly recommend staying here and I would stay again.

Great Location. Spacious.

This was a fantastic location! Two full bathrooms. Washer. Kitchen. Check-in was fast and easy. Communication was great. The flat is large (by Rome standards). Here are my issues: + Hot water constantly ran out (it was so nice to have 2 bathrooms but the water was gone after 1 quick shower). There is a switch to leave the hot water heater on and we were sure to do that but it still didn’t make a difference in terms of the limited hot water supply + the bed linens/sheets are torn and old, they need to be updated. + there is only 1 key and you need that key in the room at all times or else everything goes dark. If you are traveling with someone and they want to go for a walk or grab coffee, you are literally leaving the other people in the hot darkness. This was totally unacceptable for the price we paid. If you are traveling with anyone else, do Not book here unless you are promised TWO full SETS of keys. Otherwise u are trapped!

Great Location - Odd Electricity Rule

First - we really really loved the apartment! The decor was great, it was quiet, and the location was amazing. Less then a block from crazy, noisy, Trevi Fountain to quaint, quiet place to stay. Two things I would mention: 1. Three flights of winding stairs - we didn't mind, but you should be prepared for this. 2. You get a set of keys for the apartment and one of them is for the power to the apartment - and you can't leave the apartment without turning the power off! TWO problems with this. First, if my husband wanted to run out a get something, he had to turn the power off to take the keys, or I would have to run down and let him in. Second, while it was unseasonably cool for us, I can't imagine this is a great thing in the middle of summer - because it turns off the two air conditioning units when you turn the power off. This would mean in the summer that you would come back to a very hot apartment I think. They have implemented this to save power - but I would rather have paid $20/day more to have a second set of keys, allowing me to leave and keep the power on.
