Leeward key is a favorite of many guests visiting the Destin Area. This is one of the only Beach Condos in Destin with 2 pools, one on the beach side of Scenic Gulf Drive and the other on the north side of Scenic Gulf Drive, behind the condos themselves.

A note about supplies:
Beach Condos in Destin provides dish washing soap for your stay and an initial supply of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, hand soap, and 2 kitchen trash bags to get you through your first 24 hours. We recommend you bring the following items for the remainder of your stay: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, spices/condiments, coffee and coffee filters, laundry detergent, hairdryer, beach towels, umbrella, beach chairs, beach toys, sunscreen, and anything else you may need for an enjoyable vacation.

I have repeatedly stayed at Leeward Key. This is a very nice condo. Our only problem was we couldn’t stream on the televisions and repeatedly requested help and the problem was never solved. We finally just gave up calling since there was no effort to help.

Location was terrific. Right across from the beach access. Chair/umbrella service was a great bonus. Parking was never a problem. The condo was stocked as advertised. Place was clean and bright. A+++ property. Clean. Easy access. Private beach area. Ac works great. Nice update TVs. Kitchen stocked with needed items for cooking. Beds comfy. Plenty of towels. Will be back! For future guests make sure you understand you can only access the condo parking lot from Scenic Gulf Dr not through Emerald Bay Gate. GPS wanted to take us that way every time. There are only stairs down from the pool deck down to the beach so if you can’t do stairs or if you’re bringing a cooler or wagon keep this in mind.

Leeward Key 705 was perfect for our family. Very spacious and clean, as well as ideal location overlooking the gorgeous beach. Some local restaurants close enough to walk, but overall, regular use of a car is necessary.

The condo had all the accommodations that we needed to make our stay perfect. The two best things were the balcony with the beautiful view of the beach/ocean, and the beachside pool. An added nicety was having the two beach chairs and umbrella for our daily use. The beach attendant was very accommodating and friendly. We had a wonderful stay.

Everything was wonderful. We really enjoyed the condo and the location was central to everything. We stayed for 2 weeks. When I had a concern or question the communication was prompt and helpful. The condo and building were very clean. My only suggestion for the condo would be to have more hangers. My only other complaint would be the air ventilation in the workout room. I was impressed with the equipment but the airflow was hit or miss. More fans or at least have the fan not on a motion sensor so it can run continuously. Would recommend the condo and property to other for sure.
