Beautiful location

As many of the reviews stated, the place has a lovely view of the Adriatic and Old Town. It is definitely a climb back up to the apartment but it is doable if you are fit. Biserka was a great host and communicated well with us regarding any questions!

Excellent view and location

The apartment has wonderful views of the old town and lockrum island. It is a great location, being a ten minute walk to the old town. It is on the hillside so there is a climb up steps to get back. The apartment itself had everything we needed and was comfortable. The host was responsive and check in was easy.

Stairway.....to heaven?

First off, Biserka the person we dealt with was awesome. Quick to respond to any questions we had and place felt super clean upon arrival. Address said 16, but unit was actually 18. Fortunately she responded fast on that. As for the place, its at the top of the hill which for views of the sea and old town Dubrovnik, it was spectacular. There's little to no parking down near the town, so plan on walking a lot. However, because you're at the top, that means to get down to the bottom, be prepared for a lot of stairs. Thats right folks, this place comes with a built in stair-master to keep you in shape. 😉 its about 400-500 stairs down to the beach and then back up. But there is a market down on the street after the first 200 steps that has some decent bakery items. I recommend the powdered jelly filled donuts...very light and fluffy. If you have knee problems walking from this place could be tough, so plan Uber transportation into your budget if that's the case. Otherwise, its great exercise and if you're like us, you acclimate fast. Place was clean and comfortable and had some air conditioning which was crucial because it was very hot and muggy while we were there in July. I also appreciated that it had 2 bathrooms. One side note...for the most part ceiling heights were fine. However I'm 6'6" (about 2 meters) tall. Kitchen ceiling provided an excellent opportunity to practice my limbo. Also the mirrors showed me my belly button quite nicely. 😅

Beautiful apartment

We had a beautiful girly weekend in Croatia. There were 4 of us and the apartment was a very comfortable size for us. It also has two bathrooms which was very convenient. The apartment has everything you need. Spacious rooms with aircons in the living room and one of the bedrooms. Other bedrooms had electric fans and ceiling fans. The apartment has a stunning view! You would need to climb a lot of stairs to go to the beach or Old Town. We always took Uber or Bolt, which are very reasonable. We paid between €4 (Bolt) to €8(Uber) to go to the Old Town. The host was great, quick replies and very accommodating I would definitely recommend this apartment and stay here again

Great location with stunning views near Old Town Dubrovnik.

The apt is located on a hill overlooking the water, the Old Town and Lokrum Island lending itself to a stunning view from the balcony. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, pans, utensils, refrigerator and coffee maker. The Dining table and Living Room are comfortable and inviting. Washing machine was an added plus and the bathrooms were supplied with many additional towels. No soap or toiletries were provided, so bring your own. Excellant location near the Cable Car and a small market is nearby. The area lends itself to great exercise with stairs and nearby trails. The owner arranged for a driver from the airport and was outstanding in any needed communication.

Amazing View

Biserka's apartment was a great base for our time in Dubrovnik. The balcony view of Old Town from the east is beyond compare. We spent each night after touring out there with a bottle of wine. She communicates quickly and kindly accommodated our early arrival. Do know the hike up from Old Town is steep and involves stairs. We're reasonably fit but opted for a taxi (10 euro) our last night. But walking down is easy and takes about 15 minutes. Also, there's a switch you need to press outside the bathrooms for hot water. Strongly recommend!

Stunning vista

Nice unit with fabulous view of Old Town. Walkable to town (if you don’t have a car)…but you may want to Uber back as it is all uphill. Berserka was very easy deal with and communication was very timely.

Visit to Dubrovnik

First time in Dubrovnik. Great quiet location with close access to Old Town. We read the reviews about the number of steps down from the property and they were accurate. It’s quite a workout but the views were worth it from our patio!

Best place ever!

We had a wonderful stay. The view of Old Town and the water was worth every step to get there! Uber was very convenient. Thanks to Biserka for all the help with my questions. Check in was very easy. We would stay here again!

Phenomenal Home w/ Great Location

Our family vacation in Dubrovnik would not have been great without Biserka's beautiful home. The location met all our needs, and the amenities were spot on. The steps to and from played a factor, but we adjusted with an Uber up in the evenings. We suggest Uber rather than local taxis. We look forward to our return to Dubrovnik and visit Biserka's place again.

Beautiful Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is lovely and our rental was perfect for our needs. There is a 10 minute walk with up to 400 steps we did every day. However it is possible to get a cab or Uber close by.

Amazing view!

Everything about our stay was incredible - the view is out of this world! The communication with the property manager, Ivana was outstanding. We got our exercise on this stairs for sure, but the view was worth it! The hospitality of the Croatian people is unbeatable. We will definitely be back!

Thronen über Dubrovnik

Den schon vorliegenden Bewertungen für diese Wohnung können wir uns nur anschließen. Es gibt nur wenig Pro und wenig Contra. Über allem thront sowieso der wunderbare Balkon mit Blick auf die Old City, Lokrum und das Meer. Eine kurze Zusammenfassung: + absolute Ruhe + Parkplatz vor dem Haus - Die Ausstattung in der Küche reichte für 3 Personen. Könnte aber umfangreicher sein - Die Wohnung wirkt angestaubt, muffig. Eine Modernisierung wäre von Vorteil - Bei unserer Ankunft hatten wir nicht den Eindruck, dass die Wohnung vorher gründlich gereinigt wurde. Hier und da schmutzig, auch teilweise das Geschirr. Deshalb vergeben wir, trotz des Balkons, 4 Sterne Anmerkung: Wir wußten vor Bezug der Wohnung, dass die Old City oder der Banje Beach nur über reichlich Treppenstufen zu erreichen sind. Es sind tatsächlich um die 800 (runter & hoch). Diese haben wir 1-2mal pro Tag „qualvoll“ überwunden. Wer dahingehend Probleme hat, sollte diese Wohnung nicht buchen oder Taxi Kosten einplanen. Für uns ist das aber kein Grund irgendwelche Sterne abzuziehen.

Great apartment in prime location

Beautiful, well-equipped apartment overlooking Dubrovnik. The view is spectacular and we couldn’t get enough of it for the week we stayed. Full kitchen, washing maschine and a/c were great to have. We were lucky to be able to park our car in front of the house every day, but a parking spot is not guaranteed. Biserka, the propery manager was very helpful and responsive. She found for us a parking alternative should we not find a spot in front of the house. The town and shops are in walking distance, but involve climbing stairs. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view with lots of space for family.

We really enjoyed having a place in Dubrovnik with a beautiful view and space for a family of 5. When people mention the stairs, they are no joke! We are a pretty athletic family and they became intense for us, especially on hot sunny days. For that reason, you are best to plan to go into town for the day, as you likely won't want to go back and forth from the property. It was worth it for us to have the view and space.

Spektakulärer Ausblick auf Dubrovnik

Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt, über viele Stufen hoch am Hang, oberhalb der Altstadt gelegen, erreicht man praktisch alles zu Fuß. Der Ausblick auf die Insel Lokrum und die Altstadt ist alleine die Reise wert. Die Zufahrtstraße ist eine Sackgasse, daher sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet, für Ferienwohnungen sogar mehr als das. Das Mobiliar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der Balkon für 5 Personen etwas eng - aber es geht. Einziges Manko ist die schwache Klimaanlage im WZ und nur eine weitere in einem SZ . Die anderen beiden EZ haben keine. Im Inserat bei Fewo-direkt ist das leider nicht ersichtlich, bei anderen Portalen schon (die Kritik geht hier in Richtung Fewo-direkt!).

Excellent location!

Pros: Excellent location! very quiet. The view is great. Enjoyed my morning coffee and late afternoon wine. Easy UBER or Taxi access. Mini market down the steps with everything you need. Be aware 22 stories of steps up and down the hill. We didn't mind. we used it as "Ice cream and beer compensator." Enjoyed it, we will be back. Cons: 22 floors stairs up and down the hill. However easy Uber and Taxi access. You will forget it when you see the view.

Five Star Views!

The views from the apartment are stunning. We enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon happy hours just watching the boats come and go. The location is high up the hill so most of the time we took an Uber back and forth to the old town. The apartment was clean, beds were comfortable and the owner was very responsive to our questions. Our group of four adults will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Dubrovnik.
