Directly on the boardwalk in North Mission Beach, La Sirena is a luxurious Oceanfront 4 bedroom, 3 bath condominium overlooking the sand and crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the wonderful white water ocean views from every room. Let the waves lull you to sleep or relax comfortably on the wrap around covered patio.

La Sirena is located on the 2nd floor providing privacy, quiet and safety. The home is nicely appointed with beautiful beach decor, travertine floors, granite countertops, and a modern, well stocked kitchen with stainless appliances and a gas stove. Each bedroom has its own balcony where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Mission Beach and the Pacific Ocean.

Beach towels are supplied along with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys, and a sponge surfboard. Flat screen HDTV’s in all the bedrooms. There is a two-car side by side garage with space for one large and one compact vehicle (see exact dimensions). There is also an in-unit washer/dryer.

This Mission Beach vacation rental location is very walkable. Just a block away from Mission Boulevard where you will find multiple restaurants, bike rentals, surf board rentals, apparel shops, surfing lessons and liquor stores and markets.

Great Location! Good House

The Location is Amazing!! 2nd floor is the best cause it keeps you above the boardwalk... but you still feel right on the beach. I think the house is good. Could use a bit of updating and I wish the NO AC had been more explicitly communicated. When you're from the south you just assume AC ;)

Beach Stay

We booked for our daughter's 5th birthday. My family actually used to own the third story condo back about 15 years ago so I was very familiar and had been in this particular condo many times as we were friends with the previous owners. The location is perfection and the balconies do not disappoint! Upon arrival (Wednesday) while unpacking realized the refrigerator was no working and had a lot of condensation in it. We gave it a bit and contacted the host. She said we would be getting a new fridge which would be delivered Friday mid morning. The new fridge arrived but there was a valve issue and now a plumber would have to come out. The plumber was able to get there around 4pm on Friday and resolved the issue. The host said the delivery guys would be back between 1-5 pm on Saturday which was our daughters birthday. I mentioned that and they were able to come a bit sooner. Being without an operation fridge for almost 4 full days was a bummer for us since we had planned many meals. Upon further looking around we noticed there was a broken off piece of counter top near the dishwasher, some of the blinds were not operational, the ceiling fans were very dirty even though the condo had just been cleaned. Overall it was a good stay and like I said you cannot beat the location, but for the amount of money spent, I think there needs to be a little more attention to detail.

Best Location if you want Beach

Stayed 4 nights. Some things were broken before our arrival. Towel rack in Master fell off on floor. Noted chip on statue in front of LR window. Great having a garage with toys and beach stuff inside. Has one surf board and several boogey boards. Has Washer Dryer and tankless water heaters. Great for people watching on the strand. Good comfortable furniture inside and outside on the patio.Two blocks from Ralph's grocery that delivers. Liquor stores neayby. Handy to Zoo and downtown. Lifeguard directly in front of condo. Had a great time with the Family..

Wonderful property!

We came to San Diego to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from USD. My husband and I rented this home with our adult son and our parents and it did not disappoint. The location was great and the view of the ocean was amazing. Host was very responsive and helpful with communication before we arrived. We had a great time!

Great Location

Although the weather was not that great, we had a good time. Love when the unit offers beach chairs and such. Beds were confortable and the balcony was great for hanging in the afternoon. We did have a party down below us for the day on Saturday, at least they stopped partying at a reasonable hour

You cannot beat location

First time actually staying on ocean front walk and it was the best. Good time to do it too as it was cold this week so we could enjoy hearing annd seeing the ocean from inside. When weather got good we walked 10 steps and were in the sand. Everything is walkable. We had 8 people ranging from 10-54 and there was plenty of space for all. We cooked often in kitchen and barbecued on deck. We were all able to comfortably watch March madness games in living room or sit on deck and have coffee/ snacks. We watched sunset every night from balcony. We used boogie boards, surf board and had plenty of chairs and beach towels. It’s also great to have a parking space in a garage! Great place and great location!

Great place!

The condo was great. Everything was like new and well stocked with everything you need. So much fun just hanging out on the balcony watching people go by on the ocean walk. Super close to restaurants and grocery store. Highly recommend.

Location. Location. Location.

The location of Lasirena is absolutely breathtaking. We all could have spent all day watching the ocean and people! Walkability to restaurants, grocery and stores was excellent. It is a five star place that is worth a stay with the right mindset. We are pretty laid back group so the ant infestation in the kitchen was approached as a part of a beach front property. However it lowered our rating because for the price, strategic food battles with ants may not be for everyone. Additionally, as mentioned in other reviews, lasirena needs a update inside and a very deep clean. We did notice that things people mentioned in past reviews were addressed…new grill, new dishes and new pots and pans. Our trip was spectacular and we would stay again minus the extra critters! Thank you for sharing your home.

MAJOR ANT PROBLEM AND DINING TABLE/CHAIRS AND GRILL NEED TO BE REPLACED - FILTHY!!

Less than 12 hours after we arrived at the condo there were brown and black ants all over the kitchen countertops. Had to throw away sealed food that the ants had somehow gotten into. Notified the owner, who scheduled an exterminator to come out, which he did. Owner stated that the ants were there as it was warm outside but they have obviously have had a problem in this condo previously as there were two spray bottles of ant/fire ant insecticide under the kitchen sink. Long after the exterminator left we still had ants all over the kitchen countertops and now in the small bathroom next to the twin bunk bed room and the two bedrooms in the back of the condo. The small bathroom shower stall kept backing up. Dining room table chairs and sofa pillows were DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY (have pics)!! Outside grill was so rusted and dirty that it was unusable. Master bdrm comforter was stained and the drapery rod was being held together with packing tape. Master bdrm ceiling fan barely worked, was wobbly, noisy and about to fall off. Two of the bathroom towel rods fell off their hinges. Dirty windows throughout the condo. We hit our head on the hood over the kitchen range many times. No place to store any food except for the refrigerator. No AC and warm. Ended up buying 4 standup fans and a portable AC unit. This is NOT a luxury condo as advertised and we will not be back. Only upsides are the proximity to the ocean, the view, outside patio, number of rooms, garage and beach chairs/toys.

Best on Mission Beach

We’ve been coming to mission beach for the last 20 and this is one of the best properties on mission beach. Unbelievable views of the Pacific where you can sit in the bedroom or on the porch and watch dolphins every morning. All the amenities you need for a large or small family. I’m very picky when it comes to homes and this one is perfect! From the management to location to the home itself - you won’t find anything better on the beach.

We loved our stay in Mission Beach! Views from the spacious balcony and master bedroom are spectacular. Slight mixup checking in as the place was not cleaned, but they sent a crew out right away and made things right. Would highly recommend this spot if you are a mission beach person.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location can’t be beat and the space of the home was great for us! We had 2 families if 4 and my Mother in law with us. It had a crockpot so we used that for two dinners while we played on the beach. I loved waking up in the middle of the night and watching Gods beauty in the ocean roar! We hope to come back again!

Awesome views

The accommodations were excellent. Are only complaint was sound from street & board walk from below. Some people decided to park their car at end of street with all doors open with rap music blaring. After about 2 hours we went down and asked how much longer they plan in being there and they left about 20 minutes later. Next night they came back but only stayed about an hour. About 8 young men in condo below had a really good time until 2:00 AM but were gone by our 3 rd night there. I know owner cant guarantee how quiet it will be so we still felt that it was worth every dime and time. Thanks, Kathy

Perfect location for a family vacay

We shared this condo with another family. It was perfect for our group and you can’t beat the location and ocean views. Our only issue was keeping quiet at night when we played games because of those on the 1st floor. Their bedrooms sit under the condo’s dining area. Otherwise, it was a great stay!
