Modernist Beach Living. Venice Place is a modern retreat tucked away on a quiet street in Venice. Perfect for one or two people.

Venice Place is a sustainable luxury one bedroom guest house with a private patio and garden, set in a peaceful corner of Venice Beach. .This home boasts a spacious open floor plan: 660 square feet furnished in a contemporary minimalistic style with inside-outside connection of kitchen and living room with high vaulted ceilings. The private sunny patio extends from the bedroom and living room into the garden. Garden includes lounging and dining arrangements and a water feature.

Fully-equipped kitchen with osmosis water filtration system. Stainless steel appliances. Living room fireplace. Washer and dryer. TV in bedroom (Apple TV), Beats Pill music box and high speed wireless internet.

There is one king-size bed. Luxury towels and linens. Relax in the over-sized soaking tub. Danish hardwood floors in living room and bedroom. Travertine stone and fine Italian glass tiles in kitchen and bathroom.

The property is a sustainable home including 100% solar electric power, reverse osmosis water filtration system, king size bed, luxury down bedding and pillows, luxury towels (Frette) and linens (Matteo) and all non-toxic cleaners. Full modern kitchen and bathroom including soaking tub. Large living room with high ceilings and gas fireplace. Silent air conditioning.

We are on call if guests require assistance, otherwise we leave them to enjoy their stay in beautiful Venice Beach, California.

Venice is a melting pot of cultures and people. It is home to artists, movie stars and entrepreneurs, with a great beach and famous boardwalk as well as world class restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios and boutique stores.

The property is the perfect distance from the beach and boardwalk, but far enough away to come home to peace and tranquility.

The property is a short bike ride to Venice Boardwalk and the beach. Whole Foods Market, as well as Rose Avenue with all its high-end coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques are within easy walking distance. We have beach cruiser bikes for rent.

The property was exactly as it was sold and better,

This property is a hidden gem down a quiet street in Venice within easy walking distance of everything including the beach, beautifully presented and could not have been cleaner and better apportioned. The street is a deadens and gets little traffic and has ample parking should you have a car. We will stay again as soon as we have the need in Los Angeles.

The perfect quiet get away

Clean, beautiful and in a nice neighborhood

This place was just right for our weekend stay. It is quaint and peaceful. The sheets were so amazing we had to order a set for ourselves once we got home. Very appropriately priced as well compared to other rentals in Venice. A great find!

Great vacation house!

Modern, cozy vacation house with walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants and bars located in a quiet and safe street. I hope we will be back soon and recommend this place to everyone who seeks for a beautiful vacation get away in Venice Beach/Santa Monica! You won't be disappointed!

Paradise!!!

This property was absolutely perfect. No detail was overlooked, from the palm trees lining the entrance, to the water features and cactus on the property. It was the perfect sized space for a vacation getaway and much better than being couped up in a hotel room for seven days. It was the perfect location, a few mins from Venice Beach and just about everything worth travelling to (25-30 mins to most points of interest). The house is also located on a quiet residential street with street parking right in front of the house. I would 100% stay here again for my next trip to LA.

Solar Dream House

We loved our (1) week stay at Venice Place ! The location was perfect, both for local eating, shopping ,beach and bike path and also a quick drive to I-10, which we hopped-on often to investigate the LA area. Being in an Off the Grid house was fun to experience and everything ran perfectly. Located at the end of a Cul de Sac , a few houses from a Park and a municipal Golf Course and in a friendly neighborhood, yet far enough from Lincoln Blvd. ( US 1 or PCH ) as to not hear any traffic. Tastefully decorated in mid-century style through-out , the kitchen was well appointed , the big glass window in the bathroom made you feel like you were privately bathing out-of-doors . The outdoor patio w/ water feature and chaise, table and chairs was lovely and private and the Landscaping on the entire property was beautiful and well maintained.The bed , linens and towels were excellent . Everything was as stated on the web site. LA was experiencing a Heat Wave and so upon our arrival the house was H_O_T and very uncomfortable . They had just installed a portable air conditioning fixture ( a bit noisy and not an AC unit ) in the bedroom, so that room was OK , but the rest of the house was pretty unbearable . ( I would suggest that Modern Life look into a couple of ceiling fans for those warm Summer days in the future ) We called the Concierge, who responded immediately and professionally , and the next day someone arrived with two big floor fans . Not a perfect solution for the stuffy heat, but they sufficed. Being a mile or so from the the Santa Monica private-plane Airport ( only open from 7-11 ), was not really a problem for us , but we did hear planes taking off occasionally . We rented (2) optional bikes from Modern Life and had a blast using them to get around Venice Beach and up to Santa Monica on the Bike path along the Ocean . All in all , we had a very positive experience being at Venice Place and would definitely recommend it to friends and family and will most probably return there ourselves in the future . Both Carlos and Elsie , the Concierge team ,were friendly and very professional from the Reservation get-go and remained that way throughout our stay.

Great location on deadend street. Easy parking. Easy walk/bike to beach, whole foods, shopping. Got a taste of what living in Venice may be like. Comfy bed, fabulous sheets, sweet outdoor area. Prefect for 1-2 people. I'd definitely rebook.

Clean and Peaceful

We could have stayed in this place all weekend long and then longer! The amenities (Whole Foods) and Groundwork Coffee House are easily walkable, but why walk when you can ride your cruiser there? The customer service was exceptional as we arrived, dropped our bags, plugged an iHome device and had the cruisers delivered within a half hour. Rose Ave is nearby, and Venice Place is quiet yet strategically located to have anything you want right there. We'll be back and Venice Place is our first choice!

Best place in Venice

Lovely Zen-style modernist little house set in a private bamboo grove on a quiet street just off Lincoln Blvd/PCH. Ample parking. All the facilities are there: great bedroom and bathroom with full bath and large living room with big kitchen area and a sun patio outside with a neat little water feature. Venice Place was a great base for us from which to explore Venice Beach and Santa Monica as well as the delights of LA's West Side, all within easy reach. Can't wait to go back!

Aesthetically and comfortably wonderful

We stayed a week in October and it was wonderful in every way -- beautifully designed and furnished and well-located. From the moment you enter the gate, you feel transported to a relaxing private world -- quiet, calming, and lovely. Fabian is a wonderful host -- gives you your privacy but responds speedily to any request. You are one block from a Whole Foods so it's great to eat in and not far from the main restaurant area of Venice. We walked tons -- to the beach, to restaurants -- and this is supposed to be a car city! Easy to get everywhere. Fabian recommended several restaurants that we enjoyed thoroughly. Easy off-street parking (rare in L.A.), safe residential street, nice neighbors. Couldn't be happier and the price for what you get is truly remarkable. Venice is a real neighborhood and this is the place to stay. Oh -- checklist: listing accurate, photos accurate, place spit-and-polish clean, well-maintained, owner helpful...you get the idea.
