We have rented 50+ rentals in the area over the 25 years. Our family lives in the area and we are overseas. Nicely updated, fresh and well stocked. Would book again!
A lovely cottage with a beautiful garden to relax. We booked the property as my husband and dad were booked in for a skydive at Skydive St Andrews and it was in close proximity to it. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and Markinch is a lovely to have a wander. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The McClay's were very accommodating when we had travel issues on the day of our arrival. They went above and beyond to help us, and we can't thank them enough! The property was comfortable, clean and as-described. A perfect location! Can't wait to come back again when we are next in Scotland.
A lovely homely cottage in the quiet and pleasant town of Markinch with lovely garden and bbq deck which we made full use of. The cottage is clean, comfortable and excellently sited to take full advantage of the amazing Fife coastline, golf courses and Edinburgh only a short train ride away. Should we return to Fife we would certainly look to re-book the cottage for another comfortable and relaxing stay.
Warm, clean, comfortable cottage in centre of village.
Very conveniently situated for Balbirnie House where I was attending a party and for the rest of Fife.
