Great for our Family Reunion of 14
We had an amazing time at this house in Wilson Wyoming. It was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for our large group. The host was very helpful in the time leading up to our visit, answering our questions (like are there games, YES!) very quickly. When we arrived at the house it was well prepared for our visit. The kitchen was huge and had all the pans and utensils anyone could want. We were amazed by the table just off the kitchen that seated all 14 of our party, so we could share time and play games together! The house has beautiful views and many amenities. The bedrooms are well-appointed, and the beds are comfortable. The young adults in our group loved the steam room! If we were to offer any feedback, it is that the icons on the VRBO posting did not match the bedroom descriptions, the descriptions were correct. This made us have to rethink our sleeping arrangements a little. In addition, one of the “rollaway beds” was a bit broken when we arrived, but we were able to work around that too. We LOVED this house and had a great time there. And as an added bonus, on our last day there, a Big Mama Moose came and nursed her two babies right at our front door. The house is amazing, the host is amazing, and we would happily stay there again!

Fantastic week at Jackson Hole
Rented this home for a men's ski trip for seven men. The photos of the home looked great and believe me it is even nicer in person. The views from the home are amazing. I would love to see them in the summer. Just sitting in the kitchen area or family room was such a pleasure. We didn't really cook except one simple breakfast but the kitchen was certainly well stocked and you could prepare any meal using the supplies available. I would have loved to prepare a big meal on the commercial stove, but we ate out nightly. There was plenty of housewares to go a couple of days before running the dishwasher. Everybody said their beds were very comfortable and I can attest to how amazing the master suite is. Super comfortable bed, jetted tub, large closets and more amazing views. There are enough beds that nobody had to share and plenty of baths to get cleaned up for dinner. The drive to the ski area was not bad at all and an opportunity to see a moose and a coyote on the way. And what do I need to say about the ski area. Fantastic! So much great terrain and fortunately it snowed the first two days. Heated garage was a plus. Susan was amazing. Very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Directions were very simple and accessing the home also simple. She sent a detailed set of instructions we might need and told to call if we needed anything. I can't imagine anyone not loving a stay in this home any time of year. The neighborhood is so quiet and the setting ideal. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your amazing home.

EXCELLENT
This home was the perfect setting for the gathering of our family of 12 for a week. It was clean, spacious and well laid out allowing for the group to all be together or spread out; the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cookware, china and silverware as well as grills and plenty of outside seating; linens and toiletries were more than ample; and, the views are not to equalled. We would highly recommend this home!

Marvelous home in a secluded, serene, scenic location
We were very happy to be together with our whole family and several friends for a family celebration. Everyone enjoyed the home and outdoor spaces. We ate together, played together, relaxed together and laughed together in this lovely home that easily accommodated our large group. The rooms are spacious, and the bedrooms and baths are luxurious. The kitchen is a joy to cook in, with everything you need. The outdoor spaces were perfect for gathering to play games, to eat or just to watch the antics of the hummingbirds visiting the feeders. We enjoyed the views from the house and took lovely walks around the quiet neighborhood. The location was perfect for all of our activities in the Jackson Hole area.

Great Home for a Family Gathering
This house worked really well for us, We were in Jackson Hole for a 50th anniversary celebration with family members. Six bedrooms meant everyone had a private space and the large common areas were great for interactions between people who had never been all together at the same place before. Easy access to the town of Jackson, the airport, Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Susan, the owner, met us at the house and gave us a tour and was very responsive to questions. The house is well maintained, well equipped and well supplied with essentials. No complaints.

B+
We enjoyed the house. It was a bit further from the action than we thought, but found we enjoyed the drive each day due to the number of moose along the way. We developed a daily moose count. We were disappointed that the owners wouldn't clear the snow from their deck so that we could enjoy sitting out and taking in the view. The fire pit was, thus, unusable, which was part of the appeal of the house when we rented it. Had some excuse about snow coming off the roof which, of course, happens. It's a ski house. I think they just didn't want to go to the trouble and expense. I would suggest they not make it part of their promotion if that continues to be the case. Also, we had a dozen people and the hot water ran low for showers after a full day of skiing. This could be attributed to the steam room use, which was a wonderful amenity as was the sauna. The house was very nice. We had fun.

Fantastic vacation with 6 couples at Stone House
Had a fantastic time at Stone House 2/8-2/13/2018. The house was everything as described. Susan helped find a chef and masseuse for our group as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the ability to all sit together around the enormous kitchen table for meals, then watch the Olympics in the living room with a nice roaring fire. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. Appreciated being able to bring my dog as well, who enjoyed meeting the neighbor dogs. Highly recommend the Stone House, especially for large groups.

The Stone House is the Perfect Family Vacation Home
Our family of 11 adults (28 to 67) just spent a week in Wilson, Wyoming at the Stone House. The 6+ bedroom 4+ bathrooms, with an enormous fully stocked kitchen and dinning room to accommodate all of us comfortably. Susan and her son, Kevin, were very attentive and provided excellent advice on a private chef and local activities. While we did not have any children, the Stone House could easily accommodate small children. We spent most of the time in the kitchen and around the fire-pit. We give the highest recommendation and could easily see ourselves coming back for another visit.

Awesome vacation for a big family!
We cannot say enough great things about this house. The view is spectacular and the house, itself, has everything you need for a great vacation. The location of the house is convenient to Wilson and Jackson, nestled in Aspen trees with a moose wandering often in the yard. The master is amazing and the other rooms very generous with space. We loved the decks with a fire pit and gas grill. The owner is very accommodating and has good attention to detail in making sure our stay was comfortable and convenient. We would love to stay here again.

Our winter Ski Getaway
Our extended family (16 of us), including Father, Married children and grown grandchildren spent a fabulous week at the Stonehouse. The accommodations were as advertised although the Futons will suitable for only one adult, not two. The owner, Sue, met us upon our arrival and pointed out the house features. The house was well provided with all essentials. The house is located in a beautiful area with views of the surrounding mountains. Our expectations were fully met Tom Murray, Newtown, PA

Great Views, Great House, Great time
My extended family and I stayed at this house during June 2015. First time in the rockies during the summer. Owner was great as we didn't arrive until 11:30 pm and she was there to meet us. House is HUGE with plenty of room kids and adults. Steam shower was a hit. Great views of the Tetons from back deck. Would stay again.

About the host

Host profile image
We love Jackson in both winter and summer, with all it has to offer in pristine beauty. Our home reflects that beauty from its gorgeous granite and barn wood exterior, lush furnishings and spectacular mountain and wildlife views from nearly every window. This is our personal home and a retreat for our large circle of family and friends. We would love to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

We settled on Jackson for its remote beauty and limited development. Everything is close. The town of Jackson is short 20 minute drive, as is the Jackson Hole Mountain resort for skiing and summer activities. The town of Wilson, with Nora's, Stagecoach, Moo's, Pearl Street Bagel and TGR is 10 minutes away. Excellent restaurants are close by on the way to town or the resort. Yellowstone is a doable day trip, 90 minutes or 75 miles away. Teton National Forest is about a 45-60 minute drive.

What makes this property unique

Views, views, views. Extraordinary exterior with granite face. Beautiful and comfortable updated furniture. Private access to the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Large 3 level home with sauna, steam room, exercise gym and ultimate privacy.
