Breach of privacy, unpleasant experience

Hosts let us know their "cleaners" would come biweekly. When the cleaners arrived, they took photos of the interior of the house, including pictures of our personal belongings. This was a massive breach of our privacy. The hosts confronted us later that day with some of the photos their cleaners took, claiming the house was not tidy enough. One particularly memorable one was a picture of the sink -- which had some dishes in it -- apparently this was not ok, and we should keep the sink spotless and dish-less at all times. The hot water in one of the bathrooms didn't work, there was a small dead lizard in one of the bedrooms, and many of the food items / spices left in the kitchen were expired (some by several years). Other than that and the worst hosts we have ever dealt with, the house was ok.
