This was a perfect vacation!!! Super relaxing with the hot tub and fires in the fireplace in the evenings. Will book again!!!! Good communication for reservation and what to do in order to get in the cabin.
Thankyou for providing us an AMAZING home away from home for us to stay. My husband and I come to Townsend Tn every year for our anniversary and this is our new favorite cabin. We already plan soon to book next year for our anniversary again 🥰 Thankyou oh so much. We loved everything down to all the decorations in the home. We loved your cades cove collection, the bird houses and the cozy, calming feeling of the whole cabin. Love the new upgrades to the bathroom and kitchen. The bed is extra comfy. Very clean, well kept cozy cabin.Thankyou
I absolutely loved this cozy little cabin. It had everything I needed and then some. I stayed here with my teenage daughter. It was perfect for two. I enjoyed having an actual wood burning fireplace and the bed was incredibly comfortable! So secluded that it was a bit difficult to find in the dark, but the host did provide detailed directions.
It was just what we needed. Super cozy, very homey, and well cared for. We honestly wished we had intentionally planned more time in our trip to just stay at the cabin because it was so nice. We loved the fireplace! That was definitely our favorite part.
Cute cabin that was exceptionally clean. Had everything I could possibly want and more. Love that it sits in the woods. 5 minutes from town so very peaceful yet the restaurants, golf course and attractions are a 5-10 minute drive. Absolutely loved it! Will stay here again for sure!!
Magnolia is perfect for our needs and has everything we look for in a relaxing get away. This was our third stay and Magnolia has been consistently a pleasure each time. The cabin is always clean, it is well supplied with everything you need and the kitchen is well equipped even for a cook like me. The private deck and the hot tub are wonderful. The reservation, check in/out process is super easy and our host Lucy communicates promptly every time. I can't say enough good things about our experience.

We absolutely LOVED the wood burning fireplace!!! Great king size bed!!!! Big jacuzzi bathtub we didnt try but looked great! Host stocked up the wood which was wonderful!!! We stayed there the whole weekend intentionally so we were disappointed in a few things.
We love football so the small tv was meh. The place needed alot of updating. I am 5.7 my hubby 6.3 and we both had to bend over alot to fit under the shower. We love to cook and the kitchen was so dated. I guess we just expected more for what we paid or expected it to be nicer. I dont know if the pictures were current. We still had a good time. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The host responded well to messages. Only gave 3 out of 5 bc the place needs updated and better housekeeping for what we paid.
We loved every minute. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It’s close to everything we enjoy. We love the hot tub, deck, fire pit and swing. It’s all perfect for us!!

The property was nice and very clean. We enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed it! The cabin was clean and quaint. It is located in a nice community, but still has plenty of privacy. The floorplan of the cabin is one big living area where the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and dining area are all located in the same room. It was perfect for my husband and I for our anniversary trip, but I would want to know this ahead of time if we were sharing the cabin with more people than just the two of us. The cabin is within close proximity to Cades Cove which was what we wanted. The host was very responsive and kind. We look forward to visiting again!
Beautiful cabin for a small family near Cades Cove
This cabin is the perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Smoky Mountains. I highly recommend it! Its only about a 30 minute drive to Cades Cove where we saw deer and a mother bear with cubs! At the cabin, we
enjoyed the hot tub and the swing in the private wooded setting. The fireplace and outdoor fire pit would be nice during cooler months but we stayed in July. The host was very responsive to answer questions! We will definitely be back for a fall or winter trip.

Description was very accurate, very well supplied. Roomy and Comfortable bed, perfect for our 2 night stay. If we had more time, would have liked to stay another night. Internet worked great, Thank you so much for the great stay in the Smokies!
Lucy's property was cozy, clean and very comfortable! We felt like we were in the middle of the forest, so peaceful. A perfect location next to the Wild Laurel Golf Course which we enjoyed one day. The Dancing Bear restaurant is a must try and about a 5 minute drive. The food and atmosphere were amazing.
What a great place to stay! We loved this little cabin and it was perfect for our family (2 adult, 1 child) not to far from Cades cove or gatlinburgh. The community was so friendly we ran out of time and didn’t get to golf but the course looked great as well. We got stormed on a few night and lost power so we had to clean up by flash light 🙈 but honestly my daughter thought it was pretty neat. My favorite part is the fact everything that you needed was there. ❤️we will book again! If you stay check out Abrahm falls, drive down to the food trucks, stop at the pancake house, walk along the river trail & ask the locals for short cuts though Cades cove senic loop because that’s a long loop 😂
Everything about this stay was fabulous. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. I highly recommend this cabin. The fire pit out back in the evening was my favorite part. So relaxing after a long day in the mountains. You can't go wrong if you rent this property
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Lucy was great at answering my questions with timely replies. We would stay here again.
We stayed for 4 nights during our hiking trip to the Smokies. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The best amenities were the bed-it was very comfortable, and the hot tub… it is hard to find cabins with hot tubs in the Laurel valley and it was wonderful after a few days of long hikes!
This is our 3rd year at the magnolia house cabin and we simply love it here. location and privacy is awesome for my husband and I. hope to visit many more times in the future. donna mccoy
We enjoyed our stay at The Magnolia. It’s a little dated, but it was very nice. We enjoyed the drive back to the cabin- saw deer multiple times on the golf course! It was also nice that we did not need 4 wheel drive to get to the property. It’s hilly and curvy, but not steep. The fireplace was so nice and cozy! The only complaints are that there was no bellows for the fireplace, so my husband just had to blow lots to get the fire going. The jacuzzi tub also needs a really good internal cleaning. When I tried to do the jets one time, a film appeared on the water. I had to clean the tub afterwards so that I could take a bath (without the jets). Lastly, the communication was lacking a little. VRBO app said one thing about heat, the sign on fridge said another. The trash instructions were not clear at all. We disposed of it, and certainly didn’t mind doing that- we just didn’t know WHERE to go. The instructions just basically said “in Laurel Valley” but didn’t pinpoint a specific spot. One thing I would suggest that we’ve had at cabins before is a book with instructions, local restaurant menus, information on area shows/attractions, etc. The menus especially are helpful when you don’t have cellphone reception and want to decide on a place to eat. Plus it encourages people to eat at a more local place rather than a chain restaurant. ☺️ Overall, we had a wonderful stay! It was quiet, peaceful and clean.

We purchased this little cabin for our get away and a place to sit back and relax more upon retirement. Lex has been coming to Maryville & Townsend since he was a young boy. His Mother grew up in Maryville and he spent his summers with his Grandparents. My first trip to the Smokeys was when I was 16. We have had it under management with a company in Townsend and have decided to personally takeover the management now that we are retired so we can have a hands on experience with our guests. We are always available for questions. I am a retired realtor with Re/Max agent. As a realtor for 38 years, I know how to work from my computer and phone at any given time. We take pride in our ownership and maintenance. We have 3 boys, John, Steven, and Nathan, 8 Grandchildren, 3 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great grandsons. We want you to enjoy this cabin as much as our family has over the years so please do not hesitate to reach out during or after your stay.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because of the quaintness and privacy. The security of being in a gated community was a superb benefit as we are out of state owners. We enlarged the deck and added the hot tub and outside swing years back.
What makes this property unique
Quiet and relaxing..........We love bringing Grandchildren and everyone enjoying the fireplace and making memories. One set of Grandchildren love the Pigeon Forge area and the others love the outdoors of the creeks and tubing. Something for everyone.
