About this property

Newly renovated (Spring 2020). New Kitchen, Bathrooms, floors, and we added Air Conditioning. House has heating.

Situated on a large lot, this modern chalet home is a tenth of a
mile from a sandy beach perfect for children. Beach is only a four
minute walk from the house. Clubhouse, bathrooms,
small playground and showers are located at the beach.

Close to Gunstock for winter skiing and tubing. Great family hill with a variety of trails for skiing and snow boarding and a variety of lifts.

Located in the South Down Shores luxury gated community, renters
have access to tennis courts, scenic open spaces, playground, walking
trails, marina and magnificent views along 4000 feet of shoreline on
Lake Winnipesaukee's Pagus Bay. Two golf courses are within one
mile. Gunstock Mountain and Recreation Area is nine miles away.

Happy 60 th birthday

We had a great week vacation at this lovely home. The owners were warm and friendly and extremely helpful. The house was beautiful and clean very well-maintained it had everything we needed. A relaxing week of sightseeing motorcycle rides shopping or sitting by the lake and just relaxing on the beautiful patios enjoying the sunrise and sunset in this quiet peaceful community. Definitely would recommend this home and More than likely going to look into staying here again in the future thank you David and Kathy for everything!

Beautiful home!!!

We had an amazing week at the Brink House!! The home is beautiful as well as the neighborhood at Southdown Shores. A short walk to the beach that is perfect for families!!

The best yet ever, including last stay in South Down

This has got to be the best stay ever and a vacation home that we've rented.!!!! Kathy and David have really gone out of the way to make people who stay in their home as comfortable as possible. They really didn't forget anything that could be necessary that we would need including all of the nice cities that we found hard to find in our own home in upstate New York. My grandkids really appreciated the little touch of including a bag of cookies for them as a welcome gift, and my wife and I felt it was very thoughtful to do that plus even leave us a bottle of wine. The code we were given really didn't work at the gate but per usual Kathy thought ahead and thought of us and wanted to make things as smooth as possible and gave us an alternate code we could use just in case. Sure enough we needed it thanks guys really appreciate all of the forethought you people displayed, even down to the small size soap in the bathrooms. The next time we stay up in this area if we bring family and need the room we will definitely be contacting you folks again. You can copy this and put it as the first page of a new book you are starting for people who stay at your property from now on, I have seen this in other locations and it's just a nice little touch that we could have a notebook that we could share our feelings towards you folks after staying at your property and after you've gone through the renovations you have great job guys. 😃🌹😃

Great Trip

We enjoyed the convenience of this house, which accommodated everyone in our family perfectly. The beach, which you can walk to, was wonderful. We had a great time!

Nice place

Community very safe. Quite at evening and night. We were vacationing with motorcycles and location an extra distance to back roads where we like to ride (40 min) close to everything else. Owners were great. Easy to contact. Would recommend this property for your vacationing.

Perfect get away

Beautiful home, close to the lake and Gunstock. Pictures don’t do it justice! Clean and had everything we needed. Owners were very easy to work with and very accommodating. Would definitely rent again.

great family home

We rented the home last summer, and will be back again this summer. Clean comfortable home. House is close to the beach (really short walk) Great for my family and our friends. Owners were really easy to deal with. Looking forward to being there again in 2012.

Why they chose this property

We wanted a home we could use with our family in both summer and winter. This location has access to the lake, and it is close enough to Gunstock ski area in the winter.

What makes this property unique

We bought this home when we were looking for a home we could use to vacation with our family. At the time we had small children and this home suited us great because it was close enough to the beach so we could walk down with the children. We could also use the home in the winter as the children learned to ski. As the kids got older having bedrooms on different floors allowed us to invite another family, but keep some privacy.
