The process was easy simple and not confusing. The property was excellent great spot great views and friendly pups to greet us was an unexpected welcomed surprise! This was the perfect get away/12yr anniversary weekend! Will definitely be returning!
Great place to stay for a short visit to the Grand Canyon. Clean, beautiful view, sweet dogs. The lighting could be better. But overall a nice place. Would recommend it.
Great location south of Grand Canyon, close to Williams and a short drive to Flagstaff. We really enjoyed the location and views.

Well kept, great location, a beautiful, quiet getaway from the travel commotion
Well kept, great location, a beautiful, quiet getaway from the travel commotion. Waking the first morning to elk bugles and coyote songs reminded us how lucky we were to be just a little removed from it all.
We stayed here for 2 nights, and the views from the deck are amazing! The bathrooms and bedrooms were brand new and clean. There's a small, very basic kitchen area. But this place is all about the location - and did I mention the views? We spent the majority of our time on the deck, enjoying the solitude and quietness. Another review mentioned the dogs - we found them to be very friendly and polite. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect cozy place for our family!
Simply loved our stay at the bunkhouse!!! Immaculate, beautiful & comfortable. Our girls, ages 12 & 9, especially loved the two fluffy dogs that greeted us each day. Perfect homebase for coming back to after our daily adventures.

Beautiful Cabin / Weekend
We had a great time. The cabin was warm and cozy and beautiful. The beds were comfortable. It was very clean. We loved the pool table. Our only complaint was that we should have booked one more night :)
This place has amazing views and is a good home base for a Grand Canyon trip as well as a downtown Williams visit. Beds were comfortable, and the pups on site are adorable. The only thing that is inaccurate is the posting shows that guests are allowed access to the home gym, but in the house rules on site it states the opposite. I get the liability aspect of it, but it shouldn’t be shown in the pictures if it’s not available for use. Other than that, we absolutely loved the stay and will remember it forever!
Could not have anticipated a better view! Unbelievably beautiful. The house was exactly what we needed and beautifully appointed. We did request more large bottled water for their water machine and received a quick reply, but never received the water requested, which was fine, we just purchased gallon jugs from the store. Their doggies are amazing and we wanted to sneak them in our car and take them home with us. ;)
What a gem! Perfect place for my son and I to rest from hiking in the canyon. The Bunkhouse is off the beaten path, and after spending the day with many people at GCNP - it was just what we needed. Super easy check-in. I will definitely recommend this to friends!
This was our 2nd trip to this home. It was as relaxing this trip as it was the first time. The area is very quiet. There are a couple of friendly dogs that greet you when you arrive. We were accompanied by my brother and sister-in-law and visited the town of Williams while there. We shot pool in the evenings. Overall, a very relaxing weekend and I would recommend this rental to anyone.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Outstanding views and quiet
Spectacular views and comfy main room. Lots of rules but no dish cloth to do dishes which was one of the rules. Advertised as a home gym accessible but rules said no. Also stated first bottle of water included, bottle was empty. Bring ALL condiments, nothing there which is difficult if you fly in. However the quiet and views made up for those little problems. Loved the dogs too!
The Bunkhouse FAR exceeded our expectations and was a fantastic place to stay for our trip to the Grand Canyon! We were greeted so warmly and affectionately by Scruffy! The sunrises were glorious and the stars were phenomenal! We saw the Milky Way and shooting stars along with many other constellations! The cabin was so much nicer than we expected! It was like new, super clean, and beautifully furnished. The pictures truly didn't do it justice. We enjoyed both the porch and the pool table. Would HIGHLY recommend the Bunkhouse!!
Our group of 4 had an amazing stay here! We wanted a place to relax after busy days and found it! Bring dog treats for your greeters Chuggy and Zena…they are sweet! This was the perfect amount of space for us—2 bedrooms with private bathrooms off each. The pool table was a fun “perk”. Be aware the lighting is bad in the very small kitchenette as described. We had our own coolers and appreciated the one provided! The propane grill worked great (could use a good cleaning).
Highly recommend this place as a peaceful getaway with gorgeous views!

Wonderful mountain view!
We loved this cabin. Very comfortable, super quiet, wonderful beds and a gorgeous view. Finding it takes some work and you will want to do that in the daylight, but once you're there, it's just terrific. It's rustic, but you're not roughing it when you stay here. I don't really recommend cooking, and the fridge is a dorm fridge, but it's easy to have breakfast and snacks, and to go to Williams to eat dinner. Less than an hour to the Grand Canyon South Rim and about 90 minutes from the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest. An easy 30 minutes or so to Flagstaff. We loved it!

The perfect cabin getaway...
This cabin was perfect for our couples getaway to the Grand Canyon. The beautifully decorated 'cabin-esk' interior was comforting & exciting at the same time. It felt like a dream home away from home. The couches/lounge chairs and beds were very comfortable. There were ample blankets & space heaters to keep us comfy in the cool desert weather. We enjoyed watching the birds, sunrise, lightening storms & stars from the deck. We really enjoyed the pool table, pellet stove & the Keurig coffee machine! 'Scruffy' the dog (the welcoming committee) was a kind soul and helped us feel welcome. This cabin really had everything that we needed to relax and enjoy our vacation. Hope to be back someday!
We were greeted to open doors, 51 degrees in the building upon arrival, dogs with feces on them which got on us, an unclean rental from the prior guests, no potable water (it was brown coming out of the tap), a pellet stove that would not stay lit, and no water pressure requiring us to rent a hotel room in town to shower. I would not recommend this property.

Very Good
The cabin is very nice, and clean, Great view, Beds are comfortable, There is a Gas Grill on the deck which was great, and the owners which live next door were great, and the price is right on for what you are getting. A big thank you to the owners for the kindness they showed to our grandchildren.
Things that would make it better:
*The bar sink is a little small and could use to be a little larger, it is hard to wash the dishes.
*The rental has no AC, during our stay on a few occasions it got a little warm but not unbearable, I personally would rather pay a little more and have AC.

Welcoming place to stay
The Bunkhouse was exactly what we were hoping it would be for our stay! It was warm, inviting and cozy. The bed was so comfortable. The pellet stove was a perfect addition for the frigid evenings we were there. Scruffy was so sweet! She welcomed us back to the Bunkhouse every night and it helped us miss our pups just a little less. Perfect location for day trips to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Williams was a short drive away and had all we needed: supermarket, laundry facilities, shops and many restaurants to choose from on the Historic Route 66 loop. Highly recommend!
Josie was very prompt in answering any questions. We were there from November 17-November 21.
If you are looking for a quiet place to stay with a great view, as well as a "base camp" to use for day trips out, this is the place to stay!
This place was awesome, very cosy, secluded, unique, plus a great view. We GPS’d to Espee road and followed their directions after that since they recommend to not use GPS all the way there. Once you get to the end of Oak Hill, there will be 2 gates and you go in the one on the right. We arrived after dark so we had to figure that out ourselves since we couldn’t see the house from the gate. The only complaint I have is the fact that check out is so early. We not only had to pack up all our things to get out but they also ask that you do the dishes, strip beds, take towels to bin and take out all trash by 10:00am or they will charge a $50-100 fee. The pups are very sweet and friendly, we loved their company but one of them does jump so be aware of that!

Beautiful location away from any city.
The property is conveniently located to Williams, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, yet away from any city. From the cabin there is a beautiful view of the volcanic features north of Williams all the way east to the San Francisco peaks. The property is exactly as advertised. We were there during a cold (normally cold) November week and the "cabin" was very comfortable. There is a small fridge, microwave, etc. that works well for small breakfasts and snacks - just as advertised. (There was a grill outside, but I am not a November griller). We were not interested in cooking during this vacation, so that was perfect, and there is no shortage of restaurants in the region. Beds, baths, living area are all very comfortable and clean. Water is plenty hot (but try to conserve) and they provide bottled drinking water in a dispenser. Because of the short days, we actually appreciated the high-end television and sound system for it. The wifi connection is solid. Check-in and check-out is easy. The directions to get to the cabin are easy to follow (going there during daylight the first time was helpful, but all other times we returned at night without any problem). There are clear, detailed instructions about all aspects of staying at the cabin, that we found very useful. I would like to try a stay during the summer, too. And BTW, Scruffy is an adorable, affectionate dog.
