Escape to to what is known to our family for the past 50 years as the most magical place on earth!!!! El Cocal is a Gated community of Beach Houses tucked away between the beautiful mountains and caribbean ocean of in the east coast of Puerto Rico. Here your mind, body, and soul can't help but relax and become one with nature.
Villa Mar is a brand new house with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Master Bedroom has a queen size bed. 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with twin bed on top and full on the bottom with a trundle bed. 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed. Full kitchen,living room tv, dvd , ipod station, games, movies, dinning room , big porch looking to ocean views, hammac and outdoor furniture, outdoor shower and bathroom,washer and dryer, all linens and towels provided, parking for 2 cars, club house with basketball court, beach chairs, basketball, etc.. Brand new private inbound pool(pictures coming soon)

Paradise!!

This was truly paradise for our family. Elizabeth's home is impeccable and truly has EVERYTHING you could need or want. I don't think there was a better place to truly spend quality time together. One of our last nights there we didn't want to be away from the house it was just so serene so we got sandwiches and took in all the views that are just stunning. The people in the area were kind, warm and welcoming. I have never felt more relaxed- and cannot wait to come back. Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your paradise and happy place with our family!

Caribbean Paradise

This is the perfect house for a family to relax and experience a Caribbean Beach and the Caribbean Sea. We feel extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at such a place. The views from the property are spectacular and exactly as advertised. We found the beds comfortable, the pool refreshing, and having AC in the bedrooms to sleep at night was all the more it was needed. Cooking for a family requires proper planning. Plan simple meals that can be prepared on one or two gas burners and a toaster oven.

AMAZING!!

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the pool, which has a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach is only steps away. So relaxing! Property had everything you need. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful vacation home!

We loved our stay at this house. My kids loved the pool and I loved having the great ocean view while hanging out at the pool. It was very easy to get to the beach. The place was clean and well kept. The air conditioners in the bedrooms worked great. My only complaint was that the mattresses were a little too firm for us. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to go back!

Paradise

Our family of 4 stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was a little tricky to find in the dark but Elizabeth was a huge help when we called her. Its a more rural location but we really liked that. It was quiet and peaceful. We were able to do some.of.our cooking but there are many places nearby to eat and drink. There is a great coffee place with great food and amazing view.The pool was great and the beach is close. We found a lot of cool shells too.Definitely book a stay here. You wont regret it.

Beautiful home in a perfect location

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach front home! Elizabeth was wonderful to work with when we encountered some hiccups upon arrival. We look forward to doing a return visit in the future.

2025 Sisters Trip

My sisters and I all live in different states. This was the perfect oasis to meet each other and make memories. Elizabeth was a great host:owner. Very helpful and accessible! I had hesitation driving In Puerto Rico but it was very easy.Beautiful home, views and such a lovely neighborhood! Very safe!

Beautiful!

We absolutely loved this gated community and the home. While there is not air conditioning in the kitchen and living room, we were not bothered by this at all because of the ocean breeze. And we happen to love the heat!The beach was gorgeous, and there is a little bit of rocks off to the left side that blocks waves if you wanted to wait into the water. Everything you need is here, beach, chairs, toys, games, Beach towels, etc. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful Stay

Elizabeth was amazing and everything was so peaceful. My husband and I and our 12 year old son enjoyed our stay. The villa was beautiful and more than what we expected. We went early December and had the beach to ourselves several of the days. Can’t wait to come back to this paradise !

Beautiful home with an Amazing View in a Great Location.

This home truly exceeded our expectations. Via large glass moving wall, the main living area and kitchen are wide open to a comfortable patio with the most amazing view. This feature really made the home feel very roomy and open despite being there with a large family.The private pool was just icing on the cake. The view of the ocean, the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the tropical landscape surrounding the property made this an unforgettable vacation. I could have spent every moment here if not for all the great things to do nearby. The home is very well equipped, even for all seven of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. A stop at the grocery store and we were set for the trip. That is except for those meals we enjoyed at several of the local restaurants. Linens, bathroom necessities, beach chairs and toys. It’s all provided. There were even board games, and a video library that we never actually found time to enjoy. To many other things to do. I had read several comments in reviews about there only being A/C in the bedrooms. I can tell you from our experience, this was not an issue at all. The units cool the room’s extremely well, and the combination of several ceiling fans, the open window wall and the ocean breeze; made the common area very comfortable. The gated access was easy to use and the community property well maintained. I really have only good things to say about this property. Way too many to list.

great beach house

We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool was great for the kids and it was very easy to get to the beach. The wall that opens up onto the patio overlooking the ocean is amazing - the listing photos don’t quite do it justice. It was a bit difficult to cook fancy meals due to the limitations of the kitchen (no range oven), but we made it work. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area. We would definitely book again!

Family Fall Vacay

The property was exactly as listed. It was a little hard to find but not a huge issue. We felt very safe and relaxed- and Elizabeth was quick to respond with any questions we had. There is only a/c in the bedrooms- for the most part it wasn’t an issue other than in the mornings when it was hotter because of the sun position- but the pool is amazing and made it great!

Puerto Rico Beach House

This was my family's first trip to Puerto Rico. The house had a beautiful view of the ocean and the private pool added so much to our vacation experience Elizabeth, the host, could not have been more attentive or kind. (This was especially true when Tropical Storm Ernesto became an invited guest!) The house is an hour outside of San Juan, so we spent time in the car traveling to various parts of the island. Roads are well marked and easy to navigate.

Ocean getaway

The location was perfect. We loved the outdoor spaces especially. We could see and hear the ocean the entire time, and it was a quick, easy walk down to the beach. Most of the time, we had the beach to ourselves which was also nice! I personally loved the chairs in the pool and the hammock. It was just so lovely and peaceful! We arrived very late at night and trusted Google maps for directions -- we had a terrible time finding the property because Google had it wrong. Follow the directions from Elizabeth, and you'll get there with no problem. And, by the way, she could not have been sweeter when I called her at 11:30 at night, lost, unable to find it! I could only get two burners of the cooktop to work, and I didn't realize there was not a full oven-- but that one was on me. I was still able to prepare meals with no problem. We had a wonderful vacation and highly recommend Elizabeth and this property, especially if you plan to spend most of your time outdoors. The living spaces aren't huge, but they were definitely adequate and very clean. We loved it and made great memories ❤️

Family Vacation

Stayed here with my wife and our two sons. (3 and 4 years old) The house itself was great. Very clean and comfortable. The pool and the patio were amazing. Definitely a 5 star house! I was a little disappointed at the quality of the beach and I do think the posted beach pictures are a little misleading. We ended up making day trips driving to a different beach to have a couple beach days with the kids. I guess technically it is a gated community, however the gate was never closed. Normally this wouldn’t bother me, but I was traveling with my young kids and I booked this place specifically for that. We never felt unsafe, but it bother me that it was advertised that way when I booked it.

Relax and enjoy

This property was perfect for our group. The beach was just steps away and the view was second to none! Nothing like waking to the sounds of the ocean and watching the pelicans do their thing. We enjoyed having the private pool and all the convivences of a home away from home. The house is well maintained, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time in Puerto Rico and this beautiful home.

EL Cocal is a very special place for me and my family. My grandparents bought a beach house when El Cocal was created 50 years ago. As a Kid my family used to spend weekends at the Beach House. This was and is my happy and safe place, lots of Great memories!!!!!
My family loved this place so much that my parents retired at the Beach house and I recently built two villas to keep coming every year with my husband and two beautiful boys. I want for them to experience what I experience as a child, tranquility, family time and quality of life.
If you are looking for your happy place this might be the one!!!

What makes this property unique

Beautiful views of the ocean and mountains!!!! Marine turtles lay their eggs on our beach between March and June!!!
