About this property

Enjoy watching and listening to the loons, swimming, fishing and lounging on the hammock under the pines. Our Maine Camp on the lake has been in the family since it was built, our grandfather grew up here and our children grew up here. A short path takes you from the kitchen door to the gorgeous lake! a small beach area, a dock to swim to and a boat dock make hanging at the lake enjoyable. We have one row boat with oars that you use while you stay. Come and enjoy a traditional Maine Camp!

Amazing Family Vacation

This was the perfect spot for a wonderful family vacation. The hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. The cottage is well equipped, we had everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time on the enclosed porch and with the lake just steps away it was a delight. It is a peaceful and beautiful spot, we can't wait to return!

Very Enjoyable Lake Vacation

Very nice camp. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch and deck overlooking the lake through the tall pines. Pennesawassee is a beautiful little lake. Dara was very responsive with any communication we had. Thanks for the opportunity to stay there, Mike

Wonderful family getaway...July 2017

We couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our family vacation. The sandy, shallow beach area was perfect for our 4 & 2 year olds, and the 3 bedrooms have ample space and are all on the same floor. The house comfortably sits back from the water on a beautiful lot with tall pines. The pictures accurately depict the house and property; the kitchen is well stocked with pots & pans and other small appliances. For those that are particular about their coffee there is a French Press and a small Keurig machine. The screened in porch offers a nice spot to relax on the couch and a fun place to have all of your meals. Views of the sunsets alone make this property worth visiting; every night they were spectacular. The supermarket (Hannafords) is a 6 minute drive from the house, and there are plenty of fun places to see nearby like the Maine Wildlife Park on Route 26 in Gray on days the weather doesn’t cooperate. Overall this is a very nice, well maintained cottage on a beautiful lake. We would definitely vacation at this property again, hopefully again next year.

Wonderful family friendly get away!

Our family was very fortunate to find this family-friendly property surrounded by peaceful and friendly neighbors. The cottage was well-equipped and had everything we possibly could need. The inside of the cottage was neat and well cared for. We spent hours on the screened in porch reading and playing lots of games, time on the new dock and in the water at the private beach. If you find you forgot something town is a very short drive and has everything you possibly could need. We saw the fireworks on the fourth, heard the loons at night, kayaked together in the cove, and went on a boat ride with Uncle Roland who gave us a history lesson! We felt like extended family and really enjoyed our stay.
