Rare opportunity at Higgins Beach! As more and more former rental cottages become purchased and renovated private family beach houses, there are fewer and fewer cottages available for weekly rentals. We've had a couple of long standing family who have switched weeks. This unusual happening allows a new family a chance to claim prime weeks at a GREAT cottage for their own. SeaSpree, a wonderful, traditional Maine beach house where everything is easy for you and your family to enjoy beautiful Higgins Beach! The cottage is roomy and we strive to maintain the fun authentic cottage style while making improvements. Just a half block from the ocean, you can see the surf(if you stand on tiptoes) from our sunporch. Walk out the door and be there in two minutes. Our sunporch has french type doors and can be closed off for quiet time, nap or cocktail hour. The bedrooms are: one king, another queen, one single and one bunkroom with three built in bunks. Kitchen is large, sunny and set up for a family. Bathrooms have lots of hot water and nice, big shower. There's plenty to do with Higgins being one of the best surfing and fishing beaches in the Northeast. Golf options are plentiful nearby. Weekly breakfasts and events at Association Clubhouse are reasonably priced and fun for all ages complementary arts & crafts for the little ones.. There's a brand new local market right up the street or pop into The Higgins Beach Inn for lunch on the deck or dinner. SeaSpree is well appointed with most families returning year after year.
