Huge rooms, well equipped kitchen, super clean, great beds, we put our kayaks in the bay from the backyard and fished every day, then walked to the beach.
We always have a wonderful time at Pat’s place. We come as a family and the house has everything we need, just bring groceries! The kids love the quick walk to the beach, and my husband camps out on the dock all day to fish. This is our third year coming to PSJ and we will be back every year as long as Pat allows. Wonderful house, wonderful location, and WONDERFUL host! Thank you Pat for opening up your home to us.
Beautiful Location, great property, and easy access to the beach made this property one of my families favorites. This may have been my families first visit to Jack's Gull's but certainly wont be our last. Highly Reccommend.
Such a great place to stay! Fishing in back and beach in front. House was perfect, can't wait to go back!!! Owners are attentive and helpful!
Pros- Everything
Cons- Couldn't stay longer
We had another great stay at Jack’s Gulls! No complaints about the property at all. We stayed through the possibility of a hurricane coming, and everything turned out great. Pat even called to make sure we knew there was an evacuation for the area and answered all my questions. We can’t wait to come back next year!
Growing up, my family has come to Indian Pass 10+ years and stayed in 5 different houses. A few years ago, my grandpa got sick, and we haven’t been back. This year, we got a wild hair and booked our trip. We initially booked this home due to the dock for fishing, but we have not stopped raving about the location, the cleanliness, the accessibility for children AND elderly, the beach access, and so much more. We are so grateful to be making new memories and will be back to our yearly trips and staying in this house again.
Our stay at Jacks Gulls was fantastic. To have access to the lagoon and the gulf beach was what we were looking for. We caught over a dozen crabs off the dock and added them to some gumbo. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed from pots and pans to plates and glasses. We decided to come back next year.
This property feels like a home that has been loved. We had 8 people in our group, 6 adults 2 teens, and were very comfortable. The house is very spacious and looks so much better in person. The online photos dont do it justice. The location is very quiet and perfect if your a fishman. The house comes with crab traps and a place out side to boil them once you catch them, it was AWSOME!! The beach and the lagoon are right out the door, what more can you ask for. We will all be going back again soon. Thank you Pat
Because if you do, you'll want to stay there, and that might make it harder for us to go back. Looks better in real life than it does in the pictures. Tons of space - 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom so nobody has to wait. Very nicely stocked kitchen, any/all small and large appliances you will ever need. We're not fishermen, but you can tell the place was designed in part to serve those needs. Special cleaning station, short walk to the fishing dock, propane fish cooker. Owner is easy to work with; got all the info we needed when we needed it without being intrusive. Check out is the best we've ever seen: take out trash, empty dishwasher, get your stuff, lock the doors. None of this collect the linens, wash the towels, sweep the floors, etc. that you frequently see at other places. We will be looking to return.
Nice house but if the bee situation isn’t taken care of there will be some serious damage to the house. It was frightening at times going outside as there were so many swarming areas of the house. There was a nice sitting area off my brother in law’s bedroom that he couldn’t use due to the bees. A gas’s grill would have been nice because we never use the charcoal one despite buying fuel for it because of the bees! The kitchen was nice and the gas stove was a nice feature as many places just had electric ones and we prefer gas. We have done several VRBO’s in the past and while this is a nice home it is starting to get somewhat worn around the edges. The location is great and the beach across the street was wonderful and not crowded. The host while on vacation himself answered our one and only call immediately and allowed us to check in early which was a big plus. Lastly it could really use some landscaping.
This place is amazing! It has everything you need from comfortable bedding to kitchen appliances. My son loved fishing off the pier. My hubby and daughters and I enjoyed walks and reading on the almost empty beach. The screened in porch and smart TV were great, too. We would definitely return!
This house is absolutely amazing! We had 4 adults and 5 kids with plenty of space. The yard and dock is so beautiful, and the beach access was easy and across the street. We all said this is the most favorite place we have ever stayed! We will definitely be back!
The pictures do not do the home justice. Very spacious home laid out extremely well. Access to the lagoon and private access to the beach gave us the best of both worlds. Fished everyday and caught numerous sharks, trout, and cats from the beach. We even saw a huge ray one morning. The owner was responsive to a couple of questions we had and very helpful. Would highly recommend this property.
We had the most amazing family vacation at Jack’s Gull. Our group consisted of 3 adults, and 4 children aged from infant to 4 years old. Not only is the house amazing, it’s spacious, and the location is wonderful. We had no problem getting to the beach with all 4 kids in tow. Plus, we fished right in the backyard in the lagoon. With the proximity to the beach, we didn’t have to haul a bunch of stuff, if we needed or wanted something, it was just a 5 minute walk back to the house. We had plans to see the area and eat dinner out a few times, but the kitchen is so well equipped, that we cooked every meal at the house. The gas range was a dream to cook on. At night after the kids were in bed, the adults enjoyed time on the front porch, which faces the ocean, listening to the waves crash, and watching the shrimp boats. We are already planning our next family vacation to Jack’s Gull. The property manager Pat was great as well, prompt with communication, and very friendly overall. Thank you for everything Pat, we can’t wait to come back!
Jack’s Gull’s was the perfect stay for our family, ranging in age from 8 to 73. Plenty of space and bathrooms for all, very few stairs for older folks, fisherman’s dream in the lagoon and off the boat ramp, and perfect swimming right across the street. No need to pack the car to go to beach!! Beds have very comfy mattresses and cleanliness was wonderful. Kitchen nicely stocked, crab traps ready to go on the dock, fish cleaning station! I could go on and on. The only thing this property needs is a better photographer because the online pictures do it no justice! I could sit among the live oaks, palms and magnolia trees in the backyard all day… with bug spray of course!
We loved our stay at Jack's Gulls! There was plenty of room for all 11 of us. Everyone commented on the family friendly open floor plan, the gorgeous ceilings and beams, and private and secluded bedrooms. We enjoyed sunrise kayaking followed by coffee on the front porch overlooking the gulf beach. The beach access, and view, couldn't be better. We haul down a golf cart, so it was nice to be able to use it to carry our beach gear. Drawbacks... We love long talks at the table after dinner, so some slightly more comfortable dining chairs would not go amiss. We also could not get the porch fans to work. Aside from that, the home was everything we had hoped for. We are already planning our next booking. Thank you for opening your family vacation home to our family. I do wish it were available in October! hint hint
