About this property

This modified Windjammer model cottage has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Two bedrooms and an updated shower bath (without a tub) are on each side of a remodeled and updated kitchen. Living room, dining room, extra large front screened porch and huge Florida room in the back create one floor living with 3 separate conversation areas. The back yard is decked and fenced on ground level for small children. there is an outside shower and a storage shed with bikes, umbrellas and beach chairs. which you can use at your own risk.

The home is comfortably decorated and has everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation including full washer and dryer. This house is 0.8 miles from the beach and adults can walk in 20 minutes. Biking is easy and the Bethany Beach shuttle offers a free ride to the beach! Two parking passes for beach parking are included. You can buy weekly pool passes for 2 pools, tennis and pickle ball.

Last Trip of Summer

Place was nice and clean, but listing was deceiving, did not know until night before we were leaving, that we had to bring our own sheets and towels, we don’t own the bed sizes that was needed, and the pool had a charge per day per person, there was 6 in my family, to use the pool, would have been 60 dollars a day, that’s crazy, the listing said it had 2 pools , never said there was a fee, we go on 4-5 vacations a year, an never been charged to use the pool or bring my own sheets and towels

Great place for a Family Trip

Great stay. Home was beautiful and comfortable for adults and kids. Very nice and ample shared space for families from the porch to the living room, kitchen, dining and back sun room. Perfect for a large family or two families of 4 with the split sleeping areas on each side. Nearby supermarket and food and beach accessiblility. Perfect for a nice private family vacation!

Great location for a relaxing beach week.

Perfect house set up for parents and three kids and their guests all between late teens and mid twenties. The front porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading or evening card games. The back sunroom was a nice escape spot and maybe nap zone. The beach chairs and bikes were a nice touch and in good condition. Bethany West neighborhood was fun with super easy access to the trolley and the rec facilities were worth the renters fee. Note to those who like to paddle board or kayak on the canal - Bethany West does not let you store at the canal. You must bring it back to the house. We’d definitely stay again.

Lots of space!

The house was much bigger than I even imagined and enabled everyone to spread out and not feel like they were on top of each other. The outdoor space was private and cozy, and the indoor space was comfortable and met all of our needs, I especially like the set up of this house for my elderly parents who only needed to navigate three steps to get in. I would definitely book this house again. Thank you, Eleanor for a lovely place.

Rundown place with broken floorboards

The house had a damp mildew smell throughout. The living room furniture had rips and tears. The floorboards were broken with cracks and splinters. The floor had dirty toys not removed. The dishes were still in dishwasher from previous runs. It was not as expected.

Fantastic Stay

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. It’s such a charming cottage and great location. We loved the two screened in sunrooms at either end. The beds were really comfy. We would highly recommend.

House has character with nice neighborhood amenities. We enjoyed the space which was overall clean and comfortable. Neighborhood pools and pickle ball courts were a great bonus. Pleasant quiet neighborhood with convenient trolley to town and beach.

Perfect spot!

We loved our stay! The multiple living spaces made it perfect for our young adults to have their space, while my husband and I had our own. The whole house is adorable, and the shaded front porch is lovely! All of the extra touches, like bikes with baskets, comfy beach chairs, an extra beverage fridge, and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook or bake made our week so easy. Evelyn is also very responsive. We hope to make this place an annual spot for our beach vacation!

Great stay in Bethany!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. There was plenty of room for 2 adults, and 4 young adults. The front porch was perfect to hang out in and the sunroom was great for games and card playing. The beds were comfortable. So thankful for the many beach chairs and the bikes. A perfect get away, even during covid restrictions. We were able to socially distance on the beach and while riding bikes on trails or to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay. House was close to ocean city and bethany beach. Our family had plenty of room. No issues occurred when we were at the property. The outdoor shower was a plus when we got back from the beach.

Loved the Place

This was a really nicely laid out house with a spacious feeling -- wood floors, high beamed ceilings--but more rustic than modern. Having the front enclosed porch is nice for hanging bathing suits, towels, etc and for having a coffee/drink on on at night or early morning when there are nice breezes and not worry about mosquito bites. The inside has a nice open kitchen facing the living room and the back side of the kitchen faces the back of the house that has the dining table and another sitting area. It's a great place for if you want multiple areas to hang-out or if a few of you are 'working from home' and need separate areas. Though the wifi at times was spotty if there were a bunch of people connected at the same time. The kitchen was very well equipped, as was the whole house -- really functional. Plus the added bikes are a great bonus. We used them every day to get to the beach and into town. The house being on a deadend is nice if you have young kids who want to play ball in the street etc. The fact that it was part of Bethany West was nice too-- they have a nice lap pool and rec center with ping-pong table, cornhole game, kayak launch -- all stuff we wanted to take advantage of but never had the chance to (except for the lap swimming) -- but maybe would have if there had been another bad weather day.

Great location, has all amenities you need and the owner was a delight to work with.

My family and I stayed here for a week and didn't want our vacation to end. It definitely sleeps 10 comfortably, has many beach chairs, umbrella for the beach and bikes. It is only a five minute bike ride to the beach and the chairs have straps so you can wear them like a back pack and off you go. There are also 2 parking passes and a wagon where you can load your beach things as well. We truly had a wonderful time, and Eleanor (owner), was a delight to work with. My kids are already asking if we can go back next summer. All of us would highly recommend 604 Pebble Court for your beach retreat.

Great weekend getaway!

We really enjoyed our weekend away in this home, and the quiet community of Bethany Beach! We loved the spacious, open floor plan and home decor. Relaxing on the back deck, and screened-in front porch were our favorite areas in the home to hang out. The home was beautifully decorated, had very comfortable beds, and a kitchen that included everything you might need. The owner was also very nice, and accommodating. This is a great home and definitely a great place to stay!

Perfect family beach home..

Our stay couldn't have been nicer. We ranged in age from 4 months to 69 years old. This beach house was perfectly equipped for everyone. It was close enough to the beach, and given there are two parking passes, getting to and from the beach is easy. The kids love going to two pools and the playground. The house had everything you need. Beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, boogie boards, all in great condition. The outdoor shower is perfect. We hope to stay here again! Thanks Eleanor! Liz

Great Beach House

Our family had a great stay at this home. It has a lovely decor, well equipped kitchen and an owner who is easy to communicate with and very pleasant. The house is about a mile from town, it is walkable for families with older children. There are parking passes if you need to drive into town. Overall our visit was fantastic. We are beach people and have had eighteen successful years of fun beach going in Bethany Beach for my family and friends. We have also shared our cozy house with many happy renters.

Why they chose this property

My family has always loved and vacationed at the beach. I wanted to have a beach house within about 3 hours from our home in VA. We also wanted a pool and recreation facilities that are easy to get to and use. This house has all we wanted and it's located in a family neighborhood within walking/biking distance to the beach. The large screened front porch and the windowed Florida room in the back create 3 living areas inside! We love this house and so do our renters!!

What makes this property unique

This house has all you need on one level. There are four steps to enter the house, but the rest is on one level. The two separate sleeping areas allow for separation of families if you want that. There is an outside shower for "after beach" rinsing and plenty of room for kids to play away from the adult conversations or a game area and a talking area....your choice! It's furnished comfortably.
