The boys and I had an amazing time. House has excellent access to the west bay, dock was perfect for fishing and a small boat. Sunrises off the dock were amazing every day with fish surfacing everywhere. We fished from kayaks mostly but did very well on bass and pike, even off the dock. Communication and help from Mike was outstanding. Already thinking about next summer.
Place was perfect for our quick fishing trip. Micheal was very quick to respond and very helpful. Location was perfect. Close to a launch, fit two boats on dock easy (one on boat lift), and beautiful views. We will definitely be back.
This was our second time staying at Mike’s place. It was ideal for our fisherman to launch the boat just a few minutes away and keep it at the dock the rest of our stay. Mike was extremely responsive, helpful and understanding when we had our own difficulties. I highly recommend Mike’s place for a lakefront getaway!
Camp…needs better/more comfortable furniture.
Nothing owner can control but backyard property next door is a real eye sore….waterfront access could use a good cleanup. I know it’s Oneida Lake and it’s not a clean lake but…..
Positives: A/C, well stocked, keyless entry, outside space
Owner went above and beyond. Mike is an excellent host!
The property was perfectly located to my family and everything that we wanted to do! The lake view is beautiful and peaceful. The host was amazing to work with. It is a lake house and you can tell it is closed up mist of the year so when you walk in it is a little musty but we opened the windows and within an hour all was fine. Will definitely stay again next time we come to town!
We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our stay. We fished off the dock, used the canoe and firepit. The location on the lake is beautiful, very quiet area. The house was tight for the 6 of us, but doable. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The AC is a plus for the hot humid days. My only issue was upon arrival we found many cobwebs and spiders in and around the sliding doors.
Great communication with Michael, easy checkin. Thanks.
Second year in a row staying here, absolutely love it. Will be booking again soon for next year, has become a yearly fishing event with my boys. Great place and great host. Thanks Mike for another great year.
We’ve been staying at Michael’s property for a few years running now. The house has everything you need and is located on a quiet street on the northwest portion of the lake. We hope to continue renting from Michael for years to come. Awesome place, awesome host. Highly recommend.

Lake trip 2022
property needs work, doors did not shut, deck needs repairs and power washing bad, the beds where very un comfortable we had to buy air mattresses. did not sleep 7 like it said. place just needs to be updated and new furniture and beds.
We stayed for a fishing trip the first week of May.
We enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and was adequate for the five of us.
We would come back again.
Easy to rent from, check in and check out was easy. Beautiful lake!
The rental was decent, on a nice water spot. Though the house is aging they’re keeping it nice and clean. I think the only suggestion would be that some more comfortable beds are in order. Also more queen beds!

Disappointing
The biggest problem was not the hosts fault but probably due to climate change. The lake was covered in a green slime which was very smelly and in the air you were breathing. It was not a healthy situation. The floors in the house were sticky when walking in bare feet and need to be cleaned. The bed in the front room has a mattress which is about 3 inches deep and has a big lump in the middle. If you aren't physically fit and sit on the "couch" you may not be able to get up from it. Extremely uncomfortable. We only used the oven once to heat up pizza and the smell of gas was very strong.. Otherwise everything else was ok. We enjoyed the fire pit and outside deck. I might add we stayed here last year and our experience was much better than this year.
