Hilltop Hideaway - 14 Scenic Acres! Brand new pool with 2 hot tubs; sleeps 12.

Get away from it all, head out to Wimberley and book your stay at Hilltop Hideaway! This private, stunning Hill Country home is 2,900 square feet and features a brand new swimming pool, two hot tubs and will comfortably host up to 12 with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Located atop Wimberley's highest point and situated on fourteen private acres, the main house at Hilltop Hideaway boasts a modern, open floor plan with spacious and tastefully decorated rooms throughout. The living area is to die for with tons of space, tall ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and a fireplace. Just off the living room, you'll find the half bath. A dining table for 4 sits between the living area and kitchen. The kitchen features plenty of space for multiple chefs, stainless steel appliances, and cooking and dining essentials. Just under the stairwell, you'll find a wine bar with a mini fridge and wine fridge. Rounding out the main level is the master suite complete with a cozy king-size bed, wall-mounted large HDTV, and an attached bath with a walk-in shower. Did we mention that there is a second hot tub right outside of the master suite bedroom? Upstairs you'll find the second bedroom that includes a queen-size bed while the second full bathroom includes a shower/tub combo.

Additional space can be found at The Bunkhouse! The Bunkhouse features a living area with comfortable furnishings and a wall-mounted TV as well as dual queen Murphy beds (that fold right into the wall!), a kitchenette with cooking and dining essentials, as well as a dining table that comfortably seats 4. The bedroom features a queen-size bed and TV. The full bathroom includes dual sinks and a gorgeous walk-in shower.

Outside you can take a walk on one of the groomed nature trails, soak in either of the two hot tubs, take a dip in the pool, eat at the picnic table, or just relax and enjoy the view. About the view- take in miles and miles of gorgeous, sweeping Hill Country scenery including the Twin Sisters and Devil's Backbone from the backyard at Hilltop.

With both houses available on one property, larger groups can enjoy one another by day and relax in the extra space at night.

*You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Maximum occupancy at all times for this property is 12 guests. We manage several nearby properties, so often have staff in the area. Please come and have a good time, but be aware that behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive will result in you forfeiting the remainder of your stay.

Perfect weekend!

Hilltop Hideaway was the perfect getaway for our growing family. Plenty of space for everyone. And the views - simply gorgeous! Highly recommend.

Great property, poor management

We encountered a few issues during our stay from cleanliness to items broken posing a danger to our four year old and internet outages. However, the highlight of bad came from the pool situation. I have been in hospitality for 12 years, and luckily very aware that periodically a pool must be treated due to the volume of visitors. Let's start there. The issue arises from a lack of communication regarding the scheduling of this maintenance, in addition to the potential health risk our family was exposed to. The reason we chose this rental had primarily to do with the pool and hot tub (attached, that did not work - pool remote did not work either.) We noticed the pool maintenance technician in the yard, and at the pool. He never once said hi, knocked on the door, or left a note. He was there about an hour, and left. Our four year old had been asking to go back to the pool since that morning. We promised her we would. When we got to the pool it was murky with white specs in it. Did NOT looks safe at all. Called management, and it took them forty minutes to give us a straight answer to NOT enter the pool for 24 hours. WE HAD TO CALL. No one notified us. Had it not been for us paying attention to the fact that a man was at the pool, and the water looked off, we could have caused serious skin injury to our daughter and ourselves. I told Vacay (management company - Tristan specifically I believe his name was,) that we expected compensation because it put a wrench in our vacation AND

Beautiful place

Gorgeous Views!

This property is amazing! Plenty of room for a large gathering. We cooked at “home” and we had everything we needed. Beds are comfy and lots of closet space. The property is beautiful. The deck, patio and pool area are like something out of magazines. The view is really breath taking! The property management is wonderful to deal with. They even called us to make sure we had everything we needed! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Hill Country Heaven

This was a wonderful property. Private, lots of space for everyone and very comfortable. My only complaint was the description includes a king size bed in the bunkhouse. It was a queen sized mattress on a king sized frame. We counted on the king sized bed and were disappointed that it was not provided as described. Other than that it was a great place.

Friend Retreat Success

A group of friends from college gathered with the intent of floating the river. The pool and view at the VRBO however made us choose to forgo the river and spend our time at the pool. We had a great time. I was a great location for multiple couples to gather and have our own space!

Incredible Birthday Weekend

The accommodations, the amenities, the views, and the customer service were all 5-star worthy. The Hilltop Hideaway provided a fantastic place to celebrate a birthday with family. Adirondack chairs are perfectly placed on the property for morning coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day to enjoy the Hill Country views. The home's layout was perfect for giving everyone a place to hang out together or find a quiet place alone to unwind at the end of the day. There was a large selection of board games for all ages. The pool was a huge hit with the whole family. It provided a ledge for the moms to be able to sit with the babies and still have a relaxing time and the space for the older kids to enjoy it as well. The bunkhouse had a small kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and two Murphy beds. Again, perfect setup for our family. We would absolutely recommend the Hilltop Hideaway to anyone looking to spend time in the Wimberly area.

Beautiful location, cleanliness lacking

This house is situated in a beautiful location and has a lovely back porch. Unfortunately, the house was very dirty. The carpet in the living room is terribly stained, the dishes in the kitchen were filthy, and we had to wash everything before we used it. There was food on the stove and the cupboard fronts had foos on them, requiring us to wipe down everything before using the kitchen. The sofa had crumbs on it and the throw that we reached to use had some kind of food spill on it. The outdoor cushions in the seating area were filthy, not sure when they were last washed. We were excited to try The Green Egg, but found that the thermometer on it is broken. The property did have great walking trails, but given the lack of cleanliness, I would not recommend it.

Great vacation in Hill Country

Absolutely gorgeous property with amazing views. This house was Near Jacobs Well, ~15 mins to Wimberley, and close to Driftwood. Very quiet location. The house was very comfortable for our family, with plenty of room on the property to spread out.

Bachelorette Weekend Getaway

The house was perfect for our group of 9 for our Bachelorette Weekend. Everyone fell in love with the house and property and are planning a return. I’ve rented lots of homes on VRBO and this one was by far the best stocked kitchen by far.

Amazing views

We loved the property. We spent most of the time outside enjoying the views and cooking on the porch. Cypress Falls swimming hole was a short drive and a good place to get in the water and have a few cold drinks. We would definitely stay again.

Extended Family Birthday Bash

Our youngest daughter celebrated her 30th birthday. She loves nature and hilltop views. This place was her choice of many. It had a valley view to the south toward a vineyard and olive grove. We brought hammocks to hang in the shade and used the two large BBQ pits and fully stocked kitchen. Both the main house and bunkhouse were used by our family of 7 adults and 4 kids. The stars were amazing. We used both fire pits (one wood fired and one propane fired) on consecutive nights. The large swing was a joy to relax in. Our group took a little hike around the wood mulched trails. The WiFi was fairly slow though and we were not able to improve it much by rebooting the router. The jacuzzi was refreshing and we kept it at a cool temperature due to the hot summer. We did not have to worry as much about our little ones safety as we would have with a larger pool. Both houses are beautifully rustic with cedar finished features and brown-stained concrete ground floors. The hill top is capped with large live oaks and surrounded by red junipers on the lower slopes. We had a nice south to southeasterly breeze the entire time. We also used the two bar coolers for adult beverages and mineral water and the oven for cooking. It was a great pleasure to have 2 days and two nights at this lovely facility.

Rest, Relax, and Rejuvenate-Something for everyone!

We thoroughly enjoyed our five day stay in this beautiful home! Our teen and young adult children had plenty of room in the bunkhouse and upstairs room. We enjoyed walking the trails and seeing the deer and fox, having coffee in the swing and chairs overlooking the valley and s’mores and wine at the fire pit on the porch at night. This was the perfect place to spend July 4th, as we were able to observe the fireworks for miles from the property. This house is a a nice drive to shopping, floating the river, Canyon Lake, and Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. You can literally do it all, or do nothing at all, and just relax here! We highly recommend this property for your next getaway!

Amazing experience

I stayed at the Hilltop Hideaway and Bunkhouse for a weekend with my family and some friends. The locations is excelent if you enjoy to stay away and kind of isolated. We loved that. Moreover, the houses were super clean and had all the tools to cook which was great!! They were able to provide me help anytime! I will come back!!
