About this property

This tropical paradise, your beach destination, is an inviting ground floor condo located in Horizon South, a popular resort in Panama City Beach. A 5 minute stroll takes you to our beach access and the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This unit features tropical coastal furnishings in every room, including the patio. We do require that renter is 25 years old or older. PLEASE NOTE: The resort requires that quests over the age of five (5) wear a wrist band while on the premises. These are purchased from the office at $20.00 each. The resort also requires a $25.00 parking pass for all vehicles and a $40.00 pass for trailers.
Sunsets are particularly beautiful at this beach resort and the large patio is a favorite spot to relax as the day winds down. This 22 acre family friendly resort has many recreational amenities such as 3 pools, a lighted tennis court, hot tub, mini golf, 2 pool tables plus other table games in the recreation room, library, and exercise room for everyone to enjoy. Fine Dining or Casual restaurants, grocery stores, and ballfields are a short distance away. We are also a 5 minute drive from fabulous Pier Park, a unique shopping and entertainment destination.

Five stars

We were in town for a baseball tournament. Great location for both fields we played at. Close to pier park. Had tons of stuff to do for the kids. Pools were nice and clean. Beach located right across the street. Will definitely add this place to our list for the future!

Exactly as described in pictures. Host provided all the information i needed pre-checkin. Loved the mini golf and pools on site, not crowded at all. Planning a trip for next summer, will consider coming back. Parking was right in front of the unit.

Great Condo

The condo was in great condition, very clean. Parking is easy. As other reviews have stated, the kitchen is small. If you are planning to do a lot of cooking, this is probably not the kitchen for you. The location was good, but this unit is near the back of the complex and it is a decent walk to the beach. The pools are centrally located and easy to walk to. The washing machine was not working while we were there, which did pose a problem for us as we were intending to use it. The building has four units in it, and we could hear the neighbors playing loud music in the evenings through the walls.

Beach Week

The condo was nice and suitable. Ellen is very good with communication and making sure you are comfortable. This is the second year we have stayed with in the South Horizon complex and LOVE it. Only dislike was, it was further away from the beach than our last condo, so that was a struggle for our 5 year old, and the kitchen was small. When we go on vacation we like to cook most our meals, but the kitchen was equipped well to be able to cook meals!

Not worth what I paid

The condo was not cleaned. Stains on the bedding and towels. Went without water for hours with little communication. Manager told me to contact owner. She was nice but no one got back to me in a timely manner. My neighbor was offered so many accommodations, I was told sorry this happens a lot. I paid a lot of money to stay there and neither the manager or owner cared I left early or offered anything in return. The outside of the condo where you can grill and sit is covered by ants and they bite so you can’t sit out there at all.

Quaint Little Condo

The condo was small, but nice and very clean. The kitchen was small as well, but usable... although I wouldn't suggest a large cooking task. It is in the back of the building and private. Pools and miniature golf a short walk... the beach is more of a minor trek, but better than not walking and trying to find parking. Lots of traffic in the area, but once we figured out the lay of the land we overcame. All in all, if you have a small group and are willing to share, this place is a giant thumbs up!

Overall the property was good the kitchen under the cabinets in the sink or very messy and there was no hair dryers in the bathrooms other than that we were okay and had a good time we were close to the beach our boys were close to the baseball field but the weather was not so good of course that's not your fault and we didn't win the tournament and that also is not your fault so I definitely would come back to that area for another vacation

Beautiful Condo

My family of four enjoyed our stay. The condo was decorated beautifully. My boys loved having their own space upstairs. They also loved the pools and put put golf the facility offered. I loved being able to drive right up to the condo and not having to deal with parking garages and elevators. Thomas Donuts is close by so that's also a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

There was only 4 bath towels and the dryer didn't work so we had to go out and buy both bath and face towels. (10 each). the place was neat but we did not know that the 2nd bedroom was upstairs in a open space with no door. There was one tv in the living room , no tv in the master bedroom downstairs and the tv upstairs was outdated. The light fixture in the master bedroom closet downstairs did not work and the exhaust fans in both bathrooms were hanging down where we could see the wires. I was told that the place was being cleaned on the day of our arrival but there was too much dust in the unit to support this statement. We definitely would not rent this place again next year. We have at least 20 pictures to support our statements.

Condo is great. Facilities...not so much.

Pools are ice cold, below 70 degrees - NO heated pool. Pools and hot tub are locked up at 6:30 pm. Indoor gym, pool tables are also closed at night. According to security, someone was smoking crack in that area....instead of dealing with these serious problem guests, all paying guests and owners are punished and locked out. The gates are broken and removed from both entrances. People are sleeping in cars, brushing their teeth in the parking lots beside our units. Safety is a concern. Lights do not work at the mini putt.

I feel that they will take your deposit for one reason or another dryer In this unit doesn’t work and simply says on it that if you tear it up they will take your deposit to pay for it. But I had to take two babies unexpectedly that slept with me and my daughter needless to say she took the deposit so watch your p & q s when renting this condo

Wonderful family vacation spot!

We had an amazing time at this condo! We were close enough to walk to the beach, and the condo was so cozy and comfortable for our family of six! Lori was an awesome hostess and we would highly recommend this location for any family vacation! We will definitely be planning a trip here again soon!
