A very pleasant, peaceful place. We loved the views, the kitchen was well stocked, and the beds comfortable. We are admittedly city slickers however, so we weren't used to walking into spider webs regularly. It improved as the week went on, so it may have just been vacant ahead of our stay.
We also were expecting central air conditioning, so the 3 wall units during a very hot week didn't quite keep up. I'm sure another week it would've been just fine. Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you!
This old house is pristinely clean and perfect for a cozy stay! Exactly as advertised. The 4th bedroom is an add on and too cold for winter but we had plenty of room with the 3 main house bedrooms.
Lovely old house. Private and cozy. Could use another full bathroom, as four bedrooms invite larger parties. Brothers and sisters came together for my granddaughter's wedding. It was somewhat difficult getting ready for the event with only one shower.
Great place, we really enjoyed our stay. Except for a few hiccups( no outside lighting in the back between garage and house made it hard to see at night when coming home from a evening dinner.) The deer entertained us daily showing off their young. And the solitude in the evening and reading until sundown. A great place to chill out from the big city and get back to the country!
Getting the tv fixed to carry the local channels was a plus after the sun went down.
We pull up mid afternoon and 2 deer are standing in the field behind the garages. Great start to a peaceful week of vacation. The home updates were enough to make it comfortable without taking away too much of its character. Grandkids really enjoyed the yard and searching for bunnies, deer, and lizards(?). Only put a 4 star on neighborhood rating because the people on the hill behind the garages had no problem yelling at a 9 year old about private property and property lines.....in the middle of an unused field.
This country house was so wonderful and was perfect for our group of 6. We enjoyed every day that we stayed. If you like the country and deers and the peacefulness this house if for you.
Thank you the Borba's from california
This place is marvelous! Lots of space both inside and outside. The playhouse was a hit with little ones - and even for an afternoon nap for an adult! Very well stocked and comfortable.
We were visiting relatives in the area. This house was in a great location to see Crater Lake and even take a drive to the old growth redwoods and pacific ocean. Five adults stayed comfortably. It was so peaceful and nice to sip coffee on the big front porch watching the wildlife and plan our day.
Awesome property, great views and nice quiet setting. We enjoyed our time there with our children and grandchildren and would consider renting property again if in the area.
We all loved it here. It is a beautiful property and home and we were all comfortable. The playhouse is perfect for kids! The kitchen was really well stocked with everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving feast. The hosts were very prompt in answering questions and communication with them was pleasant. We will definitely stay here again!
Excellent time staying with a group of friends. Enough space to relax and get away from the noise of town but close enough to still go out for food or a beer.
Stayed for 5 days. It was very enjoyable. House had everything you would expect and is well kept. Great landscaping and very relaxing location & atmosphere. Hope to stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Grants Pass. Location was wonderful...town was easily accessible for restaurants and shopping. The home itself is situated very nicely. Very private and cozy. It’s like walking into your grandma’s house. The kitchen was very well stocked. Hands down one of our best rental experiences. The owners were very prompt with responses and we accommodating!
Lovely property! We saw deer every day and a jack rabbit. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the playhouse. We could have stayed on property the entire time and they would have been thrilled. This is a perfect home for families. We were close to all of the area attractions. Our favorite was spending mornings and evenings on the porch.

The house was fully equipped with supplies and very comfortable for my 2 friends and me.
We enjoyed having the luxury of our own bedrooms and space after being surrounded by 1000's of people at the Country Crossings Music Festival. It was very comfortable and a beautiful setting with a country feeling. It was very hot outside so the AC was welcomed, but it struggled a little with keeping the rooms cool. It was a good experience.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of 5!
We loved staying in this home. It had everything we needed and more. We were traveling with 3 children 4 and under and there were many baby items for us and so many fun things for the kids to do. They had a blast in the play house and played with the yard toys for hours. This is one of those houses where being there was a vacation in itself.

We bought the property because of the gorgeous view, the peaceful tree-covered property and the charming Craftsman home. It has been lovingly restored over the years and we enjoy welcoming guests from all over to this very special place.
