This unit is the Trifecta of locations! Close enough to walk to the beach(6 min), close enough to walk to grocery stores(12 min) and restaurants yet far enough away from the road noise on S. Kihei Rd not to hear it. This generously sized 2BR 2 BA condo with 745sf includes a tub in the en-suite bath and the Master Bedroom can be set up with either a king bed or two twins. Two reserved parking stalls (thru Mar 2025) are very close to the unit. Starting in April 2025, only one parking spot will be available. We are on the second floor in the back of building 2 so you can enjoy the breeze off the mountain and a quiet night's sleep. There is a wonderful grass area below to hose off the beach gear and feet and for kids to play. We have tried to think of everything to make your stay here hassle-free so you can enjoy your vacation. 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella and 4 boogie boards. Both beach and bath towels are here for your use. Kitchen has all you need to make meals at home as well as BBQ utensils to use at the gas grills by the pool.

For our first visit to Maui, this condo couldn’t have been in a better location, central to everything, comfortable beds, and set up just right. Super responsive host was a plus!
Joe and De did a great job staying in touch with us. Making sure we were ok.
Great property. I would stay here again and recommend family and friends. Kitchen was fully stocked and the place was clean. They also had beach essentials and bags to carry things to the beach.
Great location close to beaches and great places to eat. Toiletries provided, which is so nice! There was even reef safe sunscreen (that might have been left by a previous renter). Thank you!

Joe and De have a lovely and super comfortable condo in a perfect location. They provided lots of information ahead of our trip and we could feel that they wanted us to love Maui as much as they do. The kitchen had everything we needed and we really appreciated that they provided gear for the beach. The beds were super comfy and we all slept great there. Thank you for a great stay!
This condo in Kihei is in a great location, the beach is across the street, and walking distance to places to eat. ABC store is down the street. The condo was cleaned, had lots of amenities. Communication with Joe was quick and easy. We would stay there again.

Overall, a good experience. Thanks for your prompt communication and straightforward check-in process.
A couple of things to note on the cleanliness front:
1. The entire apartment smelled strongly of marijuana, so a good air out and air filtering is in order.
2. There were a lot of dust bunnies under both beds that would easily be fixed with a good vacuum and occasional mop.
3. The king bed bath had mold growing in the water jet holes in the bathtub, and the drain stopper was similarly very moldy.
4. The soap dispenser in the king bed bath was empty.
5. There were very few spare bath and hand towels, and only one face towel that was clearly a rag.
6. Both AC units in the bedrooms likely need maintenance as the volume was not only loud but there was also quite a bit of rattling.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Joe and De's property. Overall, it was a great experience. The listing accurately portrayed the property, and we were delighted to find that it lived up to our expectations.
De, the host, was incredibly responsive and attentive. The neighborhood surrounding the property was lovely, providing a peaceful and pleasant environment for our vacation. One of the highlights of the location was its proximity to the beach, where we witnessed some beautiful sunsets.
However, there were a couple of issues that slightly marred our stay. The pre-arrival steps felt a little all over the places. We were required to fill out PDF forms and communicate via both the VRBO app and text messages with our rental car, room set up preferences..etc, which made it a bit confusing and time-consuming. It would be beneficial if there was a streamlined process that allowed for a smoother experience, possibly through a comprehensive pre-arrival survey. Additionally, while the property was generally clean, there were a few areas that could benefit from some updates.
Despite these minor hiccups, I want to emphasize that our stay at this listing was thoroughly enjoyable, and my family had a great time. I would still highly recommend it to anyone seeking an affordable and pleasant stay.
So happy we found this spot. The location was awesome with a mere 6 minute walk to the local beach Kamaole 1, which has a bathroom and showers. There's a mini mart across the street from that and restaurants all within walking distance.
Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms really made a HUGE difference in the quality of our stay. Yes we could've gotten by sharing a bathroom and had a pullout sleeper couch. But this was MUCH better. My parents had their privacy and I had mine. My husband came out for 4 nights out of our 10 night stay and it was really nice to all have our own space. The lanai (balcony) in this condo actually has a beautiful partial view of Haleakala volcano and my dad really enjoyed siting out there every morning watching the sun rise over the mountain.
Mom and me really loved hitting the hot tub every night. Everyone who lives in the complex or is renting is very social and friendly so the hot tub was a fun social scene for us.
The place was clean and comfortable and we REALLY appreciated the various extras that simplified our stay. For instance there is already beach chairs, umbrellas, etc, ice packs, coolers, some spices in the cabinets. They really have thought of everything.
The only small drawback which will matter for some more than others is if you plan on cooking a lot this is really only a 1 person at a time kitchen. We cooked about 80-90% of our meals and it definitely was comedic at times!! Lol
It was certainly manageable and worth it foe all the other great things about the place. But if that's super important to you then take that into consideration. But I'd definitely stay there again if given the opportunity.
Joe and De and the property manager Jennifer all replied within moments ant time I reached out and were ready to help answer any questions or concerns and we appreciated that very much.
Other great things is it's only 20 minutes from Maalaea Harbor where a lot of whale boat depart from, 30 minutes from Kahului if you want to go to Costco for shopping. 20 minutes from Makena Beach and thr southern beaches and about 40 to Lahaina. Such a great location. Very happy with our stay.
And FYI it is very safe to walk around the property (for anyone with disabilities or small children), everything is paved and clear. There's a shopping cart to bring up all your luggage and elevators so don't struggle with the stairs!

The unit had everything that we needed for our stay, and everything was in perfect working order. At night the complex is fairly quiet, and the common areas are patrolled and well-maintained. There is a construction project next door, which could be annoying if you wanted to sleep in. We are early risers, so it was not a problem.

Nice two bedroom condo. Clean with lots of beach/vacation amenities (beach bag, chairs, coolers, boogie boards, Maui Revealed guide book) to make beach vacation easy and fun. We had the second room configured with 2 twins for our kids. Good location in center of strip of Kihei. Small deck faces parking lot away from beach, but the beach is a short walk across the street, making it easy for dinner sunsets. Joe and De are responsive and helpful! Highly recommend!
Great rental property if you’re looking for something that’s walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The home is equipped with all the things you need to spend the day on the beach (which we wish we took advantage of more). Joe and De are also super helpful and responsive. They answered all my questions and even gave us recommendations in the area. The only negative thing I can say is that there was road construction going on as we turned into the complex, which caused a little congestion at times. Otherwise, definitely recommend!
We had a great time at the property. We really like that it was within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, surfing, and beaches. When we stayed in Kihei previously we had to drive almost everywhere, this time we are able to mostly walk. The apartment was good, clean, and worked well. It was a little smaller than we had anticipated, but ended up working out very well - it was nice having bogie boards, beach chairs, and snorkel equipment available. We would stay there again.

We live in Alaska but come to Hawaii every year to thaw out. What drew us to Maui and Kihei in particular was the little rainfall and price point. Once we arrived the first time we knew we made the right choice. The local shops and tourists that surrounded us were our type of people. Friendly, down to earth, adventurous and there to enjoy every minute of it. One of our favorite traditions we do there is stop and watch the sunset every night and our favorite beach to do that is Charley Young, just about a 6 minute walk, right across the street.
Why they chose this property
Quite Place!! We think you will love the proximity to walk in either direction to the beach, as well as to eat, drink, shop and buy food. We have stayed at other locations and found this is not always the case. Enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai with a great view of Mt. Haleakala, or the view of the lush tropical garden in the middle of the complex out the kitchen window while doing the dishes. Many other units face the buildings next door.
What makes this property unique
Beautifully renovated with well done arches in the doorways and the amazing view out the living room/lanai of Mt. Haleakala. The location of the unit allows for awesome trade winds to cruise through so you can open the windows, leave the A/C off, and listen to the birds wake you in the morning. Nothing like it!!
