“The Green House”is located on the legendary Bayshore Drive and is just a short walk or bike ride to downtown Sturgeon Bay.

Bring the whole family and come and enjoy our brand new 3.5 bedroom, and 2.5 bath vacation home. With its prime location between Sturgeon Bay and Little Harbor “The Green House” has numerous adventures and amenities at your fingertips. Since its located so close to the Bay of Green Bay and the Sturgeon Bay shipping canal water enthusiast will have unlimited options. With plenty of space to keep your boat in our large attached garage, boaters will also love the close location of many nearby public boat launches.

With envision of the perfect rental cottage. Our family started building The Green House in 2013. We harvested hard maple logs from the heavily wooded property. The logs were then transformed into the beautiful woodwork & cabinets through out the custom cottage.

The open concept design is perfect for entertaining at the large kitchen island while enjoying the coziness of the wood burning fireplace. For those wanting to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Door County, we offer a spacious patio in a private wooded setting. We have lawn games, gas grill and patio seating. When unwinding from your adventurous day after the sun sets pull up a chair around our toasty warm fire pit. Relax, tell stories and enjoy your company while roasting marshmallows.

Come and stay at our family friendly cozy cottage and create memories to last a lifetime!

Quick Door county get away
Great Location for a weekend in Door county. We had a wedding in Sturgeon Bay on Saturday and enjoyed the rest of the weekend exploring all the towns. Place was extremely clean! We will be back!

The property more than met our needs and overall we enjoyed our stay and thought it was a good value. However there were some issues that need to be attended to; the master bedroom bathroom toilet runs periodically and flushes on its own. This is an aggravation for the person sleeping in the master bedroom and the folks sleeping in the basement below the master bath interrupted their sleep. The interior door locks on the outside passage doors were difficult to lock from the inside. To secure the doors the locking mechanism had to be manipulated. A couple of outside lights were burnt out. We replaced them.

This property was a cozy, beautiful space in a gorgeous neighborhood. It was spotless, well-cared for and had all the comforts of home. Just my husband and I stayed, but it would be a great location for a family or a couple of couples. It was close to Hwy 42, so we were able to have quick access to all things Door County. Great space!

The Green House Sturgeon Bay
We loved the overall feel of the house. Very Homey. It seems that you are still in the process of finishing the house. Basement bathroom sink is not attached to vanity, garage is not finished, but what is finished looks great. Loved the fire pit. Good for relaxing at night around a fire cooking marsh mellows and pudgy pies. Your pictures of the place should include the kitchen table. We did not know if there was one or not. We also would have like to have cupboard space for the food we brought. There was no where to put everything for 4 couples each bringing food. It would also be helpful to know what you have in the garage for our use. We brought many items we wouldn't have needed to bring. Great place to stay. We had a great time.

Annual Family Vacation
This home was perfect for our extended family vacation! It was large enough for all to spread out and have their own space. The large yard allowed for outdoor activities and entertainment. The location was ideal with quick access to bigger city amenities and a short trip to the quaint Door County towns. One of our favorite spots to end our day was at the small, local beach (Sunset Park) a couple miles down the road. As the name implies, beautiful sunsets, and we had the whole beach to ourselves. We would highly recommend staying in "The Green House"!

Very nice house
We stayed with our family, grown children and a baby. We found the house to be clean and comfortable with room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped, we enjoyed the grill and the washer dryer and the closeness to Sturgeon Bay. The house is in a quiet area with a beautiful backyard and nice seating.

Very nice property for family of 5. 1 bedroom upstairs, 2 downstairs. Nice location close to sturgeon bay downtown. However, the living room furniture is not comfortable and is pretty worn out, dishes and pots and pans need to be re-evaluated and supplemented.

BETTER IN PERSON!
I stayed at The Green House from June 9th through June 16th. There were 7 adults and 5 kids total and it never felt cramped. The main floor has an open floor plan kitchen, dining and living room. They have a tv with dvd player in the living room. We rented a few movies and they do have cable tv as well. I didn't have any trouble connecting to the wireless internet either. The master bedroom and bath with a large walk in closet are also on the main floor right off the living room. I loved the room darkening blinds in the bedroom, but the mattress was one of the most uncomfortable I have slept on. It didn't seem old, it was just uncomfortable. I recommend a mattress topper. The downstairs sofa bed was only used once and the kids decided the floor was more comfortable but that is usually the case with sofa beds. The other beds downstairs were fine. The living room furniture was very comfortable. The temperature downstairs was quite a bit colder than upstairs so we were a little warm upstairs so the people sleeping downstairs didn't freeze. We used the fire pit a couple times and it was great. The backyard is very private and the kids were out there everyday. The house was very clean and even nicer in person than it looks in the pictures. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and they had everything we needed. Overall we had a great stay at The Green House and we would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it and my grandson loved it so much he asked if we could live there!

Beautiful house, great location, well supplied
I cannot say enough about this house. The ample supply of bedding was the first plus. We took our extras right back to the van. The fire pit had a few logs for a first night fire. Lots of pots, pans, even a crock pot! It quickly became home for us. The location is superb. Just minutes from Walmart, and downtown, but secluded thanks to the woods. Cty Rd BB was right there, taking us to the arterial roads to explore the Door. Just 3 miles to a sweet county Park with a gorgeous dock to watch sunsets. I'd book this place again in a heartbeat. Even when we had ten, we never felt cramped. What a find.

Awesome vacation rental in Sturgeon Bay!
We were four couples traveling to Sturgeon Bay mainly to go fishing. The house was gorgeous and met all of our needs for a three night stay. There was a boat launch conveniently located a few short miles away. Will definitely book again!

Nice new house!
We so enjoyed spending our annual sister trip (26th year) in Sturgeon Bay. This new house served our needs perfectly. It was well stocked with kitchen items, except no glass serving bowls, so we cooked our frozen corn on the stovetop instead of the microwave. Plenty of glasses and silverware. There is a large open stairway to the downstairs which made the downstairs a bit chilly and damp. I would recommend a dehumidifier as this may solve the problem, or a few baseboard heaters to take the chill off. We enjoyed the open concept and would stay there again.
