9.) Resort has clubhouse with wide screen TV, internet connection, billiard table, and gym. In the clubhouse you can find washer and dryer room also. There are 2 Tennis courts, pier to grill, playground for the children, and biking place. Tierra Verde is just about 3 miles from Fort DeSoto Park with beautiful beaches and pier for fishing. Only 20 miles from downtown Tampa. One of the best bay view at Holiday Island Resort - Tierra Verde just about 3 miles from Don Cesar Hotel at St. Pete Beach and Dollfin Village – Shopping Center!

Purchased in 1991 when the Wander Residences, a German Development Company has build that beautiful Resort at Tierra Verde, FL.
The Wander Residences since 1999 renamed to Holiday Island Resort. On beginning all owner has been Germans.

Why they chose this property
This Resort is build on Beautiful island called Tierra Verde, FL. The Resort has 6 2-story buildings. The Building F is the BEST located withe 1 of the Best view here at Holiday Island Resort. The property has been build in the time when the space did not play big role. So we have plenty space here and the customers like it!
What makes this property unique
Very secure and quiet place for the families to spend a week or two. Especially In the season people in retirement age prefer this resort for the very friendly atmosphere.
Holiday Island Resort has a great location as Fort De Soto Park with Fort De Soto Beach Nr. 1 in US in 2005 about 1-mile from here and St. Pete Beach - Nr. 2 in US in 2014 about 3-miles from here.
