About this property

Very cute and comfortable 2 bedroom/2 bath house located in Sea Isle about 3 blocks from the beach. It is also about 3 blocks from the marina/general store/restaurant and bar. The house can very comfortably sleep. The master has a King sized bed and the guest room has a set of twin bunk beds as well as a full size bed. Our goal is to provide an affordable, stress free vacation for our guests. There are so many houses to choose from, so We try to think of everything a guest would need and want when renting a home. We provide all linens and bath towels(you just need to bring beach towels)We have a fully stocked kitchen including, spices and condiments, and practically anything else that you'd have in your own home. We want our guests to feel right at home from the moment they walk in the door. We also know that pets are family too and you are allowed to bring your four legged children for a small fee. Our yard is partially fenced. We just ask that you clean up after them and please not let them up on the furniture.

Memorial Holiday Beach Getaway

When arriving at the house, it did not look like the pictures posted on Vrbo from the outside. Where was the swing, where was the large nice picnic table like seen online? The garage was full of spiders & very dirty, you don’t want to use the downstairs toilet Very dirty & cluttered- lots of cob webs & spiders. Many ant-mounds in the yard, we wish the grass was mowed before our stay.. We had brought water play for our granddaughter to play in the yard area as seen online. No outside shower like listed. (Doesn’t work,) we used the old hose. When walking upstairs from arrival, the door to entry doorknob is about to fall out. We call owner, she tells my husband where a screwdriver is to fix it. Inside was small, but doable for 6 people. Decorative & tasteful furniture for beach house. Good water pressure & lots of hot water. (Which is a plus) We cooked the 4 days there. Plenty of dishes, & cookware. Beds were comfortable, and close to the lovely Sea beach.

Quaint Beach Escape

This was a wonderful place to stay in a nice neighborhood. It is only a 10 minute walk, or 2 minutes drive, to the beach, which was super convenient. The home is stocked with all the necessary kitchen cookware needed to cook right there, so no need to eat out, which we loved. We were even able to use the salt and pepper there, which we forgot at home, so that was a bonus. I love that this is a pet friendly home. Our dog loved being out on back balcony with us. We will definitely be coming back!

Mini getaway

Stay at the reeves beach house

I would like the property manager to know that the refrigerator is leaking, slightly. Not sure why. The place was comfortable but there were ants and some spiders. Overall I enjoyed the stay , the only reason I will probably not rent the house again is because it is too far from town. The floor plan is awesome. Loved the primary bedroom and bath. The secondary bathroom needs some help on the water flow in the shower. The access to the public beach is great.

Broken Appliance

The property was easy to get to and conveniently located near public beaches. It is a quiet neighborhood away from the busy strip. Plenty of towels, shampoo and soaps were left. The AC was ice cold. The home is older with soft floors and the oven does not work at all. Also, we struggled to get the burners to work on low settings. Since I brought groceries and cooked all of our meals this was very disappointing. Had the oven been working or had I been notified it was out of order, my review would have been much better.

Much needed beach time

Property was just as listed. Beautiful home with a great location. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Perfect for a mini vacation! Would highly recommend for friends and family! Cannot wait to book a future stay!

Mediocre stay at best

This property was not thoroughly cleaned from previous guests. Light bulbs were missing. Four dead roaches were found throughout the common area; one was live when it was found in the sink upon arrival. The bottom level space where the washer and dryer is located is supposed to be used for laundry but it is not welcoming at all for a guest to do laundry. There is even a toilet in the bottom space that was not cleaned at all. The toilet in the master bedroom was not clean and the cushioned toilet seat was cracked. I would not stay here again.

Exactly as advertised!

My only gripe is that I wish the property were completely fenced like it looked like in the pictures. I was hoping to be able to let out dog run on her own, but it wasn't a big deal. Otherwise, everything else was great!

Great family getaway

We really enjoyed our time there. I loved all the windows and the french doors to the deck. Tea on the deck was my favorite. The house has great vibes and is really comfortable.

Pet friendly, Quiet, Clean & Cozy

Rosa was an excellent host, great communication and very responsive. We enjoyed being able to relax at her rustic cottage with our dogs, particularly on the enclosed balcony. (If you are bringing dogs, please note that the big, lush yard is not fully fenced in. We kept our dogs on leash.) We always come prepared, but this comfortable home had everything we would have needed, including some toiletries, cleaning supplies and spices. (The master closet is a nice size, but you will need to bring your own hangers.) It's walking distance to the semi-private beach, and vehicles (including rented golf carts) may be driven right onto the sand at the entrance. The water this time of year was warm, surprisingly blue and clear, with no seaweed on the beach. Watch out for the strong rip tide. We stayed at a different rental in the Sea Isle Court subdivision in 2020, and enjoyed the slower pace. It's about 20 minutes from Galveston, where we grocery shopped at Kroger and enjoyed takeout from our favorite restaurants. The subdivision has a few dining options, including some food trucks. I enjoyed a lobster roll Thursday evening, and the owners couldn't have been nicer. The subdivision pool closed for the season on Labor Day. We visit Galveston at least once a year, so we didn't feel the need to visit the attractions. This visit was just about relaxing and sharing quality time together.

Just right

We arrived and really loved this cute, just right beach house for our stay. The open area was great for our grandson to roam around in. The outside deck was my best part, relaxing and peaceful. The only thing is the fenced in area in the front was not completed so we had to keep our little dog on leash. We will stay again. Thank you

We arrived a little early and were able to get into the house when we arrived. The house is a little older but was perfect for what we needed. Perfectly located to the beach and the bay. We had a great time!

Galveston trip

While not bad the property needs some maintenance. The ceiling fan in the bunk bedroom makes a clicking noise. The door hardware needs attention. We did find a couple of things left on the floor. Overall not bad, this could be a really nice house with some low cost upkeep.

Sweet property but has black mold in bedrooms

Great location and great owner

We loved our stay and will definitely be back. One of our daughters got sick on the ride in and the owner let us go in and get cleaned up before check in. Super close to beach but make sure u stop at a store to get essentials bc its about a 20 min drive to the nearest store.

Nice little home

Nice little home that worked well for our vacation. Only issue I had was one of the gutters was broken and hitting against the house at quite a lot. But otherwise just what was in the ad.

I was born in Houston TX and have been visiting Galveston since I was a baby. Growing up my parents brought us to Galveston every chance they had. We rented houses all over west beach but fell inlove with Sea Isle. Once I had my own kids I also rented homes every summer and then started thinking, "Why not purchase a home and share it with others?" When I talked to my husband about it, he said, "go for it!" So last year we bought this cute little house and stocked it with everything we liked having. It is our vacation home and we are happy to be able to share it with others who are looking for a nice place to stay that is comfortable and afforable while visiting the island.
