Mills Drive Guest Cottage (Estes Valley License #6001) is located between downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. There are great views of Long's Peak and surrounding mountains. It sleeps two persons on a queen bed. It is fully equipped for light housekeeping.
Mills Drive is a well-maintained road that goes into Rocky Mountain National Park. This property is convenient to all the activities and attractions of the area. It is only a 2 or 3 minute walk to a stop on the Estes Park Free Summer Shuttle.
Due to the COVID19 pandemic check-in and check-out is done with no or minimal in-person contact with guests.

Peaceful and beautiful

This was a peaceful little gem of a cottage. The owners live in front and are friendly; you're in the back and will look out over their wild-life filled backyard. The area is not super remote but it is not as busy as other motel-filled spots in the area. Really close to the park. I loved the small back deck too.

Great place

I was in Estes Park for 3 days. This property was perfect for my needs. Very nice cabin with everything I needed. I met the host a couple of times and we had some nice conversations.At the same time, I had complete privacy. Great location to get to RMNP. and many good restaurants nearby. A great restaurant about a half block from the property. Easy access to downtown EP. Overall, a very nice place to stay and I have it at the top of my list for my next trip to Estes Park.

Perfect!

The cottage was perfect for two with great proximity to RMNP! We loved everything about our stay and Jay provided perfect communication and greeted us shortly after we arrived. The bed was more comfortable than any away from home bed and loved hearing the occasional elk bugle. The fireplace was nice on a couple chilly evenings. Thanks for making our happy place even happier!

Perfect location for Rocky Mountain National Park!

Great place for 2!

Loved the bird watching and it was so easy to get into the park from here. We had everything we needed and since we hiked a lot it was perfect place to rest each night. Very peaceful.

Quiet and convenient

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. Lots of wildlife to see and beautiful mountains in the background. The entrance to Rocky mountain national Park is so close. With timed entry it allows you to get to the park quickly and easily. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. We highly recommend this lovely little cottage.

Greatly enjoyed relaxing on the deck overlooking the snow capped mountains, seeing elk in the yard, and receiving great hiking advice from the kind owner Jay! Bed and cottage was very clean and comfortable and jacuzzi tub felt great after hiking in RMNP.

Comfortable cabin

This relatively new guest cabin is perfect for one traveler or a couple. It provided quick access to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. The information the hosts provided was very helpful, and the deck is a great place to watch sunsets.

LOVED IT!

This space made our trip to Estes Park! Location was perfect, especially with all the road construction. Space was clean, comfortable, and the perfect jumping off point to start and end the day in RMNP area.

Sweet Cottage and Priceless View

We loved our seven night stay in the cottage. The owners were welcoming, yet gave us privacy. The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. The view out back of the snow covered mountains was priceless. We loved waking up every morning and looking out the windows at the mountains. The neighborhood was quiet. The little creek that flows behind the house was lovely. One evening at sunset we saw two large male elk walk along the creek just below the deck --wow! The cottage is less than a mile from the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park -- so convenient. We will be back again, hopefully next June. We would highly recommend this cottage. .

Great cabin near RMNP

This was a perfect place for accessing RMNP, and so cozy and pleasant after a day of hiking. Everything's we needed was there, and the view of the mountains was bonus.

wonderful cozy getaway

we spent our honeymoon here and it was beautiful! we caught some great views and the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. the in-house laundry was a lifesaver and it was so nice having a full kitchen to utilize while traveling. 100% would recommend staying here, as we are sure to return in the future.

Rocky Mountain NationalPark

This cottage was perfect for our needs. It had everything we needed plus great views of the mountains. We loved the proximity to Rocky Mountain NP Beaver Meadows entrance. We loved that we could walk to The Rock Inn for dinner. Jay and his wife are wonderful, thoughtful hosts. We would stay here again

Why they chose this property

The property includes a home in which we live and garage with a loft apartment above it in addition to the cottage. We bought it as our retirement home because of its location and great mountain views. We have vacationed here regularly since 1970 and have always wanted to spend more time here.

What makes this property unique

We appreciate that we have extra space for family to visit and are also able to generate a little extra income while welcoming guests who love this area as much as we do.
