Short weekend

We were in town to explore Murphy & the surrounding towns. Great location with a fun theme! Our whole family really enjoyed it!

Short stay in Murphy

Was in Murphy for a few days over the holidays and made our first time staying at the castle, it was great. Communication was quick and eay, property and castle was fantastic. Uniquely decorated with a great hot tub / pavilion area. Will plan on staying again when in the Murphy area.

Girls trip

Castle is a unique accommodation and was cool to check off a bucket list trip for our group of 5 best friends. We came to celebrate a birthday and in memory of a best girlfriend who has passed. It was a really good stay and we’d recommend the castle as well as would return to stay again.

The castle was a unique and fun trip for our group of long time girl friends. It was a trip in memory of and honor of the heavenly 50th birthday of one of our other best friends who had passed away. It was comfortable and as advertised. We’d recommend and would stay again.

Pre Thanksgiving respite of Joy

We had a wonderful stay at this special place. Property was clean and every necessity provided as noted in the description. Plenty of books, dvds, puzzles, pool table, covered outdoor hot tub. and board games for one rainy day. The castle is a very unique VRBO with plenty of room for everybody. Tge property is exoansive with pond, trail, and a great fire pit under the stars. We hope to return again and are thankful that we were able to enjoy a restful few days.

Castle is Amazing

Very clean, well stocked with everything you need. Pool table, darts and lots of space is great for teens. Scenery is awesome, easy hiking. Theming is very well done. Totally enjoyed the Castle and would highly recommend.

So much fun

The Castle is a great place for family fun! We took our 4 young adult/teens and had a blast. Very clean, everything in house is provided. Pool table and dart board were a hit. Trails and scenery is amazing. Downtown Murphy offers a good day trip. Highly recommend the Castle!

Plenty of beds for all of us, clean very impressed, great place for pictures, we all had a great time, everything was centrally located, me and the other moms this was a very memorable weekend .thank you so much we will be back

Great experience

We all had a blast. Did some horse back riding, hiking, jacuzzi and tons of food. We would love to come back out in the spring. We left the kitchen cleaner than we arrived and wish we would have brought more towels; bath and jacuzzi ones. All in all great and high recommend.

Wonderful Castle!!

My family and I loved the Castle!! Beds were comfortable and hot tub was great in the evening. My son loved sleeping in the dungeon! Highly recommend!!

STORM THE CASTLE

Wow, just wow. Great experience at The Castle of Joy. Hope to rent it again. One of a kind experience, you will not regret. Hosts are awesome. Plenty of cool art and funky surroundings.

Wonderful Escape, Unique Property!

Used this property as a family get-a-way vacation. Everyone loved the place, especially the kids. The owners were very approachable and quick to answer any questions. Weather was dodgy from most of our stay but that allowed the nights to stay cool and comfortable so we were able to eat on the upper porch each night. The only negative, would have been the road leading to the "castle". While we were there, there was a lot of rain (as I mentioned) and that cause some good erosion to the road (which is all dirt). If another guest has a similar situation, just remember to use caution going up and down the drive if you do not have a truck. Overall, we had a very wonderful stay and experience. We will definitely try to come back here again!
