This rustic literary themed home sits atop a small mesa that provides plenty of privacy, serenity, and fabulous views from multiple angles of the property. The themed decor of each of the four bedrooms is inspired by a well known story (or two).

The upstairs loft area has a large play area with a Smart TV, foosball table, and board games. Please note: We are not responsible for missing board game pieces; we try to replace worn out games once a year. You can help by making sure pieces get put back in the box before leaving. Our "Mythos Bar" room on the main floor has a 3-in-1 slate table with a built in Monopoly board. Use it for cards, bumper pool, board games or dining.
Guest Access:
You have free access to the house grounds, including a large rear deck, covered porch with gas grill, and stone fire pit patio area. Plenty of seating and tables are provided. A children's play set with swings and fort is also available in the yard, as well as a porch swing in the front of the yard.
Wireless high speed internet is provided by fiber optic cable. This area usually gets good cell service for the following major carriers: AT&T, Verizon, TMobile. Sprint is spotty. Please Note: Our Smart TV allows you to stream video using your own streaming service accounts (such as Hulu and HBOGo). We provide Sling TV service, giving access to ESPN (1,2 & 3), AMC, CNN, HGTV, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, HISTORY, Disney Channel, TNT, Food Network, TBS and more!

The home is in a well established neighborhood near Hiawassee's downtown Main Street. The Ingles supermarket and local shopping is within 3 miles or less. Public beach access to Lake Chatuge is 5 miles away, as is the Georgia Mountain Fairground. There are plenty of nearby eateries and a movie theater on the way to Young Harris.
Getting around:
A car is recommended to get around Hiawassee and all the neighboring towns, activities, and sights.
